Dirty Room...Brings unwanted pests..
Checked in and floors were filthy. Asked for it to be vacuumed and they dropped the vacuum off at my door. Had to replace sheets. On last day, saw a roach crawling on the ceiling. Staying here out a real damper on my trip to Dallas. Won't be staying at the Hyatt in the future.
Really close to American Airlines Center
Room appeared to be recently remodeled, Very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping staff was prompt and efficient. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Within reasonable walking distance of the American Airlines Arena and numerous restaurants.
In-house restaurant has a limited menu - food is ok but certainly not destination dining. Also, no drugstores, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc. nearby. Surrounding area is mostly office buildings. No shuttle service to or from airports.
DO NOT STAY HERE
Location was great for Dallas but ok for Uptown. The staff for was friendly and helpful. The spacious room was nice to have. The parking garage was great being able to park on the same level as your room so your vehicle is never more than 60 seconds away from you.
The hotel definitely looked better in pictures on the website. Upon entering our room, we quickly realized it had the appearance of a Days Inn with the Hyatt name on it. The walls showed several places of patchwork and poor painting. The window was old and you couldn't see very well out of it. The bathroom/tub were not very appealing and was stained as well as had mold growing in it around the drain. The ceiling where the a/c vent was at was covered in a nice dark grey shade of dirt and dust that had been accumulating there for who knows how long. The sheets were pretty rough and we found pubic hairs on the comforter and towels. We were scheduled to stay three nights - we left after one. Hotel is disgusting - it should be given 2 stars.
Great place to relax!!!
The staff was great rooms very clean. We will return when we are in town for a mavs game it's right across from the American Airlines center...
Price was ok could have been a better value
