Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location. Extremely comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Cons: Pool was not heated.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The ambience is perfect, it IS Bermuda and I have visited Bermuda for over 50 years. The room was spacious, gorgeous, with outside terrace for breakfast. The gardens were breathtaking day.....and night, with beautiful lighting. Food was delicious, staff more than helpful. I don't want to leave.
Cons: NOTHING!!!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very elegant hotel with a warm and thoughtful staff. It was very clean and the included breakfast was served in your room based on your order.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful service and very helpful staff. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they are very charming, clean and were equipped with anything you may need. We were also upgraded to a room with a wonderful terrace, which was great for breakfasts.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A quiet and very romantic hotel. Lovely gardens and nice pool.
Good 7.0
Pros: Stayed during COVID so dining room and bar etc was not open, which was very disappointing! The hotel would have been allowed to serve guests at the hotel, but chose to do take out only with restricted menu. Very nice staff!! Very clean!! Beautiful landscape!!
Cons: Restaurant remaining open to serve their guests.
Excellent 10.0
We certainly loved this place it is surrounded with lovely garden. It near to the bus and ferry terminal which you will need if you wish to explore the island unless you hire a bike or moped, you cant hire a car. Our room was in the main hotel on the first floor. There isn't a lift but a very friendly member of staff is on hand to take your bags to your room, even without asking. We also had a lovely warm welcome from the reception who was literally waiting for us at the hotel entrance. All rooms have names as well as numbers like Rose and Hibiscus and are opened with a key rather than a pass card. Rooms are well appointed and extremely clean. This absolutely a lovely hotel and I would definitely go again and recommend to everyone.
Excellent 10.0
The Royal Palms consists of 2 Manor houses positioned around a lovely garden. It is situated a 15 minute walk from Front Street Hamilton through a residential area. It is also a 15 min walk to the bus and ferry terminal which you will need if you wish to explore the island unless you hire a bike or moped, you cant hire a car. Our bedroom was in the main hotel on the first floor. There isn't a lift but a very friendly member of staff is on hand to take your bags to your room, even without asking. We also had a lovely warm welcome from the lady on reception who was literally waiting for us at the hotel entrance. All rooms have names as well as numbers like Rose & Hibiscus & are opened with a key rather than a pass card. Rooms are well appointed and extremely clean. This definitely a lovely hotel and I would definitely go again.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great rooms, superb facilities, wonderful staff - especially Tarun and Rolly in the Fairmont Gold lounge . This element was well worth the extra cost. Peter, George and Mikey were also fantastically helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Cons: The view from the room. I felt it could have been better considering the price paid. We have stayed at this location several times and I feel we could have been rewarded. We were also local residents.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location is very convenient
Cons: Hotel experience was not 5 star in my opinion, room was very dated and unkept. Nails poking out of the floor, stained and peeling toilet seat, floor in the shower was so dirty and stained. Room service took forever & the rude Covid protocol monitoring ppl
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff food and drinks
Cons: Bed
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great continetal breakfast
Cons: Hotel food is too expensive. It is not value for money
Okay 5.0
Pros: The amenities and location are great. The rooms are dated. If I am paying $--- for 3 nights then I expect modern rooms.
Cons: The rooms need to be renovated.
Excellent 9.2
I stay here often. Some of the rooms and corridor spaces are getting old and a bit tatty. The food and beverage options are good and the lobby ambience and bar area is nice.
Excellent 8.5
Cons: BATHROOM WAS A BIT SMALL BUT MANAGEABLE. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was always clean and tidy.
Cons: Cleaning times for room were inconstant but still managed to keep everything smelling and looking good
Excellent 10.0
Our room was cleaned very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area is great and their beach clubs are super beautiful. My only complaint is that the hotel's food and beverage prices seem to be too high. I bought a sandwich in the club for $22. Everything is perfect. This room is small but perfect for both of us. Using slippers and a fresh fruit bowl as a night service is a great experience. Beautiful tourist attraction. Don't want to leave. I will definitely come back later. And i will recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks a lot Hamilton!
Excellent 10.0
We stayed in the one bedroom suite facing the marina, our room was huge and the amenities were great. The hotel is in the center of Hamilton close to everything you need. The infinity pool was great, and although the hotel provides a jitney to the beach 20 minutes away we never used it because we used out scooter to get there instead. The amenities at the beach were great, and overall we thought the Hamilton Princess did a great job for those looking for a little bit of everything in Bermuda. Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to the next time.
Excellent 10.0
Stayed here and had the best time. The new rooms, marina and infinitely pool with spectacular marina views were unmatched. Timing was perfect as I got a chance to try the newly opened Marcus' Bermuda restaurant; food was outstanding not to mention the service. Hurricane was my favorite cocktail and I recommend everyone to try one. The food was outstanding with fish chowder balls, fresh catch of the day and spiked rum cake to finish. I really enjoyed the new each club too. I had a favorite hammock with a sour orange margarita in hand. Life is good in Bermuda. This is for sure my new destination of choice. Can't wait to come back.
Good 7.4
Pros: The food service was not good. Coffee always served mildly warm when it should be hot. Food orders took really long time to come from the kitchen and some dishes were also not served hot.
Cons: Gratuity of 17% automatically added to all food. This appears though to be an island wide practice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All it has been said.. amazing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location is perfect. New pool awesome
Cons: The first room I was given was looking out at employee parking lot when my itinerary stated room was next to new pool seems to always happen when you book through travel sites
Good 6.0
Pros: Marcus restaurant, Pool.
Cons: Small rooms. Expensive for what they offer. Not great service. Ran out of towels and chairs at the beach of their sister property.
Good 7.7
Pros: The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The hotel is very convenient for walking to town/shops and to the ferry terminal. The food at the new Marcus Samuelson restaurant was very good.
Cons: The hotel was under renovations and this was not made apparent when booking the hotel. The construction work started quite early every day - including Sunday. Overall, the hotel is very nice but not as luxurious as expected for the price.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect and only a short walk to the front. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was excellent
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: If you would like to touch to a wonderful British colonial style of the 1st part of the XX century, the Oxford Guest House is the best choice for you. You will stay in a classical mansion built in 1938 with a luxurious spiral staircase. It is furnished with the furniture reminiscent of the time, when the mansion was built. As well you will receive ideal service, delicious breakfast and comfortable location in the mid of the city. It is obvious that the rooms are equipped by all necessary devices. Laundry service is available.
Cons: Nothing bad to say
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The interior was very nice, and the continental breakfast choices were good (choices of: coffee, juice, cereal, bagels, English muffin, toast, hard boiled egg, fruit, butter, jam, etc). They had a very nice bathroom, and plenty of storage, a fridge & coffeemaker, and there were two bottles of water in the fridge, and the makings for Dark n Stormy cocktails (ginger beer and Goslings dark rum).
Cons: We had to have breakfast in our room (because of COVID), though everything was freshly made and good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All were excellent

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful property located right on the beach. Breakfast and dinners (included) were exceptional; gourmet quality. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. Shout outs to Michael, Greg, Kim and Lorna!
Cons: No complaints whatsoever!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Two things stood out - the hospitality and the food. The hotel is a 4* and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. It’s very casual (long shorts at dinner flip flops etc) and the rooms are Best Western motel style but the food is undeniably 5* and the gym and hospitality likewise 5*. I’d say given its scenic location and the foregoing it’s definitely somewhere we would return to
Cons: The Cedar Room balcony area needs upgrading as does the external paintwork outside the rooms
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel staff were generally excellent - friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. A special mention must go to Greg, Kim and Lyn - exceptional. Breakfast was excellent on the whole, particularly the buffet. Menu wasn't quite so good and the bread wasn't great. The location is unparalleled with quite exceptional views, particularly the sunsets - amazing. The dinner menu was comprehensive and on the whole the food was excellent. Good wine list too.
Cons: Parts of the hotel are looking tired and could do with an uplift. That said, the room was comfortable and the view incredible. The swimming pool looked sightly murky although of course, there is always the option of the sea!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The food was excellent the views were great the staff very friendly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent hospitality, meal options, family oriented, incredible beach views
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very good choice of menu. Excellent and cheerful service from friendly staff. Breakfast room delightful with both in and out seating.
Cons: Service was by buffet 3 times a week - we did not feel this was safe in these Covid times.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Full breakfast every morning with tons of options. Lots of options to eat and easy to get around to other parts of the island if you want to. The friendly staff and great service will make your trip!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The personal attention is phenomenal. The staff is great and very accommodating. Great family feel to the Club.
Cons: Very hilly terrain so you'll get a workout.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Great location and the beach is amazing. All staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was dated and there was an issue with bugs which was initially addressed, but the treatment only lasted a couple days and resurfaced the morning of our departure.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Most of the staff was nice and accommodating. The location of the club was superb, with amazing views of the ocean. You could opt in for the meal plan for not too much extra per night. Food was ok, a decent amount of options to choose from, though I wish there were fewer options executed superbly. Overall it was a pretty good deal. The beach is private and while not a ton of it, is a lovely experience. Also there is lots of places to snorkel right there off the beach, with tons of sea life to look out for. Nightly entertainment, board and card games, a game room, fishing, water activities and excursions gave us plenty to do. We enjoyed our short stay away.
Cons: Some aspects of the resort need updating, like beds/couches in the guest rooms. Also, while some of the staff was great, others were not so; it was hit or miss. Also, at times they were very understaffed, which put a strain on staff and customers alike. While it was a good stay, I am not sure I would stay here again, based on the other options on the island.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: That they offered a free ferry into town
Cons: Only thing they needed more hooks for hanging your towels etc. closer to the shower stall, behind power room door
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about the Newstead Belmont Hills was exceptional! The only thing missing from the extravagent room was a microwave; however the staff in the restaurant and pool bar were happy to warm up my leftovers whenever necessary. The ocean view from my room and patio and ferry to Hamilton added to my excitement, rest and relaxation. The Aurora restaurant's menu is 1st class; I also took the shuttle to Divot's Bar and Grill for dinner a couple times to feast on fish & chips and lobster ravioli 😋😋. Bermuda is not for frugal travelers as it's the most expensive place in the world to live!
Excellent 8.0
Cons: The air conditioner in the bedroom didn’t work. Servicemen came 3 times to fix it, but to no avail.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was great. Easy to get around by free ferry or van shuttle. Excellent food in restaurants. Fantastic view of Hamilton from balcony rooms, especially at night. Stayed in suite 651 and was peased.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I’ve always wanted to stay here. I definitely loved the tub. Also the pool was lovely.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: excellent staff - helped us with emergency situations (even gave us aloe and crutches!). also loved the view, pool, poolside sushi bar (amazing sushi), shuttle to hamilton.
Cons: would have liked shuttle to also run from 12-5 pm.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The free WiFi, pool and hot tub. The shuttle driver was very nice and informative. Maintenance, housekeeping staff were absolutely lovely and the front desk was very helpful with answering any questions we had.
Cons: Room had a prior water leak(bathroom)and the repairs where the water fell was still visible. The 1/2 bath sink had a water leak that could not be repaired during our stay, so we had no use of it. Finally the smell of marijuana came thru the vents.
Good 7.0
Pros: The view was spectacular.
Cons: Our room had big cockroaches running around in the evening. The staff was great at coming over to clean up and make sure it does not happen again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff is very friendly. The hotel ambience is amazing.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We were very pleased with everything! The staff was welcoming and friendly, very accommodating with our wishes, taxi service, ferry back and forth to Hamilton, suggestions for dinner, making reservations when needed, etc...
Cons: It would have been nice to have the water ferry operate a full day on Saturday and maybe a partial day on Sunday.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff and service were wonderful. Great location.
Cons: Some of the public areas need some cleaning - black mold over edge of infinity pool and in some other outdoor areas.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms and on site restaurants. Great view of Downtown.
Cons: I wish the ferry went more often and a couple of times on Sunday. The fitness center machines need to be replaced, but I guess who comes to Bermuda to workout.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, atmosphere, professional, clean, activities, beach and pool.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Good 6.0
Pros: Location, amazing
Cons: It looks old and outdated. Needs renovation badly. Management is poor. No flowers. No music. Staff try to be cortious but they lack in knowledge in how to do so. The place has great bones but is screaming for a fresh makeover
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel & location were both exceptional. The hotel was beautiful. The staff were professional & very friendly
Cons: Loved everything Wouldn’t change a thing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were very welcoming, and of great assistance! Ryan was very friendly and made our stay feel like home!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Food was excellent, great buffet breakfast, service was really great.
Cons: Evening menu could have been a bit better but we were only here for two nights so perhaps it changes. What we had though was first class and again the staff were so friendly and attentive, but not intrusive!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Having been to The Reefs several times before, it provides a perfect setting for a peaceful and tranquil break and long overdue due to the Covid pandemic of 2020. We cannot fault the setting, service and hospitality of the management and staff and who are still working at the property - some for many years, it was lovely to see the same friendly faces again!
Cons: Perhaps, on occasion the US guests could keep their voices down particularly when other guests are trying to snooze on the beach, please note we don't all need to 'yell at each other' when having a conversation!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view from the room, beach and pools is incredible.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very helpful staff. Wonderful private beach.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
The hotel is really very nice. The rooms are large and clean. The bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit old but still very clean. The whole hotel is very nice and the staff is very kind. The beach is really beautiful, the sea is wonderful with a nice reef. From the restaurant you can enjoy a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. I really enjoy my stay! I highly recommended this hotel. Thank you! The vote given in this review is the result of the average between what we must compliment (beach and table service, food, location, courtesy) and what in truth was well below expectations accommodation.
Good 7.1
Pros: Views and staff.
Cons: Not children friendly, very hilly and nothing for them to do. Expensive, the prices are close to very upscale NY restaurant.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is breathtaking. The beach is beautiful and private. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel at home. The spa is beautiful and the service was wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent service and facilities
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Overall, I love the resort. It was beautiful. The decor and layout was nice. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The food is delicious. I like that you can see the whole island in just a day or two.
Cons: I didn't like that there's a limit of people per room for a complimentary continental breakfast. Anyone extra person in a room has to pay. A lot of the restaurants closes early. The weather at this time is not as warm as I thought. It becomes chilly after a while.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Just a beautiful ocean view and pink facade. Nothing else frankly.
Cons: Staff with an awful attitude. I was there alone for New Year holidays break, so asked their concierge a day before to help me to find at least a seat at the bar of any of their multiple restaurants for NY eve dinner, gentleman with a memorable name Otis just brushed me off. He literally was so annoyed with me after 1.5 min of conversation and not just with a question on dinner but any - any questions. I didn’t ask for anything that wouldn’t be in a scope of concierge to explain. I ended up on New Year night with a room service dinner, alone in my room. Otis wasn’t the only one - wherever you go, whoever you speak to, they are literally not just not nice - they are simply rude! Their HR needs to do a better job and stop hiring those who are not made for hospitality industry. Hotel, common areas and rooms look so shabby, they do need to invest in renovation if they plan to keep charging that price. Speaking of prices - just crazy and unreasonable. I’ve stayed in premium hotels, but charging 50 USD for a sandwich and a drink is insane. Unless that sandwich was with a truffle or caviar, well this one wasn’t. As this hotel is so faraway from everything, and your only choice in the evenings is to eat at their restaurants - you either pay this crazy tag or choose to stay somewhere else. I’m so not ever coming back to this place!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I loved the 6th floor level
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.0
Pros: Beautiful view and nice building.
Cons: The hotel was very overcrowded. Too many conventions! We tried to check in at 5:00 pm and had to wait over 30 minutes to check in and rooms were not cleaned yet. The beach was completely full of seaweed and wasn't cleaned during the week we were there.
Good 7.0
Pros: Great location.
Cons: * 3 HIDDEN CHARGES per day on the bill - the room rate went up by $100/day after these charges! * Everything costs money at this hotel!
Excellent 10.0
All the comforts you want for your holiday: efficient service, cleanliness and care of the rooms, excellent restaurants, excellent service on the beach (lovely), sometimes obscured by the lack of education of the guests but it is not the hotel's responsibility. The staff is extremely courteous. Small flaw: the smell of food all day in the lobby, but in the USA we eat every hour. Even the Gold service is more suited to Americans than to Italians for times when food is served. I hope to return to these beautiful islands anyway and I will certainly choose the Fairmont Southampton again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a fantastic room overlooking the ocean. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful.
Cons: Walls were a little thin so you could hear loud conversations in adjacent rooms. Not atypical for most hotels.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Need to have the convinence store open until at least 10pm ence
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location cleanliness and friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Cons: No.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Location is near one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Cons: The property is outdated with plumbing issues, worn down carpets, old furniture, and is due for a major renovation. Many of the staff were rude or unhelpful. The sheets were dirty on arrival. When issues were reported, there was never an apology. If housekeeping was called for fresh towels, it would take an hour or more to get them. Of my five night stay, one day was skipped by housekeeping completely. It seems they were understaffed as I overheard a housekeeping staff member mention she had 36 rooms to clean! Some members of the lobby bar staff overcharged for drinks and would not rectify the situation. With as expensive as the hotel room is, you would expect the core amenities to be included. They charge an additional daily fee for the use of the pool or gym. I've never felt so ripped off at a Fairmont property.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Their fees and gratuity was calculated Incorrectly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Food was delicious! Staff was excellent. Private beach was fantastic.
Cons: Price of food and drinks was expensive.
Excellent 10.0
We had a wonderful time. The room was perfect. Huge walk-in closet in our standard room. The bed was so comfortable with the down comforter. There was construction going on on one of the rooftops outside our window/balcony, but nothing that kept us from enjoying ourselves. we ordered breakfast several times and at on our balcony. The service was impeccable. We had the best time of our life. The hotel is very convenient to. The staff was great, especially the front desk and room service. The cleaning crew was wonderful and always greeted us with smiles and friendly salutations. It's truly a beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds and a nice beach. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Gorgeous private beach, amazing views, restuarant options, nice rooms, free shuttle service to the beach, and free ferry ride to downtown Hamilton.
Cons: Food in Bermuda, especially at the hotel restaurants was expensive.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel, the staff was so kind and friendly. My boyfriend proposed to me here.
Cons: It was pricey but you get what you pay for.
Good 6.8
Cons: Service in restaurants was terrible.. For breakfast , lunch and dinner.. $28.00 for pasta with peas that they call chefs special was the size of a small appetizer.. Room was nice but old. Plumbing did not work to good.. Cater to large groups. You have to wait for everything.. Very unhappy. Been going to hotel for 20 years..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is very nicely located on the island of Bermuda. You are a short taxi trip away from the Naval Dockyard and the hotel offers a free ferry shuttle to Hamilton. Beaches are incredible and the restaurants are very good (Bocci had the best food and Ocean Ridge had amazing beach/ocean views). Shuttles to various parts of the hotel grounds were clean and readily available.
Cons: My husband and I were there on our honeymoon and decided to get massages one day. We can both honestly say that the massages weren't that good for the price you pay. My massage therapist was very rushed in her movements and I never felt really relaxed. Spa facilities were very clean and quite impressive.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds. Delicious food. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The location of the hotel was very convenient to top notch restaurants (Henry VIII, The Waterlot, Blu, Lido). Two are 1 minute away and the other two were less than 5 mins by taxi. The fact that you can rent mopeds on property was perfect. The tennis courts were $15 per hour for us as a couple to play, which was reasonable I thought.
Cons: The fact that you pay for extras a la carte is annoying. The cost of drinks at "The Dock" at The Waterlot, effectively an on property establishment and their private beach was totally annoying. Considering the beach next door was half the cost sort of indicates to me they could easily charge 20% less and still make a killing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everyone is so nice and helpful. The place is clean and beautiful. The food is wonderful.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The staff are warm and friendly and efficient. Every greeting feels genuine and warm. I love the south side and that part of the island for its beaches and the trolley is so easy to catch at hotel and gets you to great beaches and to ferry to Hamiltin. You are away from everything but can get anywhere easily. I lived in the hotel in the 80's performing in a show that use to be there and remembered as so beautiful and friendly and was so excited to return 32 years later to find that same Bermudian kindness and joy.
Okay 5.4
Pros: This is one of the nicer full service hotels on the island with most immenties. But It sorely needs an update, it's very dated and generally dirty. They aren't quite as on point service-wise as they should be. But with all that said, for the price it's the best value you're probably going to get. I'm sure once they do remodel, it will be unaffrodable.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was beautiful
Cons: It was ridiculously expensive...everything was an extra. As a couple , we spent as much on food as we did on the room. ( and we didn't eat breakfast). They even charged for the use of old snorkeling equipment.

Good 7.0
Pros: The room was very clean and adequate for an all-inclusive resort. Dinner is pricey and there is a somewhat limited menu. The private beach is definitely a WIN! The water is so warm, clean, and enjoyable! The resort is approximately a 5 min drive from the airport and you can even take the city bus to and from the airport as well for one token that $4.50. The Cathedral Cave on the property is definitely a MUST see experience along with the Natural Spa which is also in a separate cave.
Cons: The pool-side grill closed very early around 4 pm which is bizarre, and the concierge is merged into the front desk operations. Potentially all of the covid restrictions are causing this to happen, however it erodes the experience of enjoyment. There was absolutely NO nightlife or entertainment, which for an all-inclusive is really bizarre and detracting.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Lobby area is very pretty and typical Bermudian. They allowed us to check in early.
Cons: The beach was small and dirty, unmaintained. The lounge chairs were covered with bird droppings and there were dog feces in the sand. Very small area . Inexcusable that it was not better maintained. Pool was overcrowded with children and not at all socially distanced as promised. So couldn't even use the pool.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location of the room down near the pool and beach was great for my daughter.
Cons: The rate for one night was a bit much.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the privacy and tranquility.
Cons: The food was a bit underwhelming. The Christmas lunch seemed incomplete as you were offered either ham or turkey. A Christmas meal traditionally offers both. The vegetables were very undercooked. I realise that people tend to not like vegetables overcooked, but most of the vegetables were merely heated. The buffet the next day was lacking also, but mainly because the fried fish wasn't seasoned, was greasy and cold. I enjoyed the noodle salad
Okay 4.0
Pros: Art Mel's fish sandwich
Cons: First off I'm am disappointed at Booking.com This is the First time Booking.com I felt did me a disservice. What's is the point of having options to choose a room then you don't get what you pay for. I ordered a King Size bed for Grotto bay resort. When I arrived there they gave me a room with two full sides beds. This was my Birthday Weekend. Also I'm huge Basketball fan and of Kobe Bryant. This is the First all star game where he wouldn't be present. Needless to say I chose Grotto Bay to spend my Birthday Celebration and watch the tribute ceremony along with all star weekend. I should have went to Chicago. Not to mention it was no distinction between all inclusive and non Al inclusive. I was under the impression for the amount I paid I had the all inclusive package. When I arrived at the hotel. The clerk didn't offer me the option of getting an all inclusive package. I spent 40usd dollars for two Kobe beef sliders and a chicken Caesar salad. It was late when I checked in Friday about 11p. So I paid for the meal thinking maybe they charge at nite. The next morning I get up early for Breakfast. I ask guest services where the all inclusive Breakfast was located. When I entered the Buffet and had Breakfast, mid way through my meal the waiter hands me a bill. I asked him was it all inclusive he said no that's a different fee. So I paid my tab then I went to the front desk. The same person who check me in was there greeting a couple who just arrived. As I waited he gave the couple a totally different greeting then he did me. He also offered them the all inclusive package with out them asking and a ton information he volunteered to give out. At that moment of not having the room I requested and on my Birthday witness professionalism that want shown to me I was appalled. I don't know who to blame for the mix up. Booking.com why even offer room options or do business with organizations that don't honor room request?
Good 7.1
Pros: The rooms were clean and we got clean towels every day. The wireless services is extremely weak. The hotel is not near many things except the airport and Crystal & Fantasy Caves. It's not worth to pay for all inclusive the food is not that great and the drinks are water down. We had two lunches and a dinner during our 5 days stay. The lunch was okay but the dinner at Palm Court was terrible. We ate out for most of our meals. The Sizzle Inn and the Bailey Ice cream shops are nearby and are very good. The beach area is small but comfortable. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so, it makes it easy to explore the islands. The hotel had bus pass or token for purchase. The staff we spoke were very nice and always willing to help.
Excellent 10.0
It was the perfect place. Very clean and modern, the food is slightly expensive. Excellent opportunity to rent on equipment for water sports. The boat rental allowed us to make a wonderful trip. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had a relaxing sleep. The playground with inflatables in the bay was the children's favorite activity. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A short distance from the airport. I highly recommended this hotel to my family and friends. Thanks a lot! Keep it up.
Excellent 10.0
The grounds are shocking and the staff for the foremost portion is amazing. Of course, we had one minor issue that anticipates me from rating this amazing. Are to begin with night eating encounter was exterior close the pool. Half the tables had an overhang and half did not have an overhang. As luckiness would have it, it downpoured whereas we were eating. The issue we experienced, the staff would not move our table of approximately ten people [portion of a family wedding] to an open area under the overhang because it was to be the move floor. We got a hold of the inn supervisor, table is moved, no issue, common sense. Point is, the staff may not think to handle this circumstance so, it missed being an amazing involvement. By and large, it truly could be a decent put. Fair do not feast exterior.
Excellent 10.0
The Grotto Bay was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were gorgeous. The staff went out of their way to care for us. The view, private beach, caves, swimming pool, bar, and entertainment were enough to keep us occupied the days we did not want to leave the hotel. The food in Bermuda is expensive and frankly not that great. Our best meals however were at the Grotto Bay. The hotel is a distance from Hamilton. (30 minutes by bus). This made it even more special since there were no tourist traps or other hotels to distract you from Bermuda's natural beauty and local people. It is closer to St. George than any other major hotel. Visiting St. George was the highlight of our trip. Should not be missed. The Grotto is truly a great place to stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing and so friendly. We loved the breakfasts, our room, the atmosphere, and the caves. We had a couple massage in the cave spa and loved it. The sound of dripping water reverberating through the cave was just so relaxing. I recommend a stay here to anyone who visits bermuda.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Hi quality/ friendly/ green/ short taxi ride from airport/ beuatiful
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: My room was horrible. It didn't seem clean, needed painting, the shower was awful, water got all over
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Food was good. Wish they had more Caribbean food. Menus are more Americanized
Cons: This time of year the high is like 68-70 so it got very cold some days and jacuzzi wasn't working
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. Staff, rooms, beach, location, price and view
Cons: Beach bar closes too early.
Okay 5.7
Pros: proximity to beach nice cove. Lots to rent at dive shop boat, kayaks, snorkel gear, etc. Staff except for pool bar staff were very friendly.
Cons: Food is lousy. Bar service at pool terrible waited 26 minutes for a drink at 2PM. Outdated...grounds dirty. outdoor seating DIRTY. Gave me wrong room key, walked in on another couple embarrassing. caves littered with garbage, towels, napkins, straws, empty beer bottles. Rooms outdated.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The staff were friendly and eager to see we enjoyed ourselves. The hotel beach on the bay is convenient, nice, and uncrowded. We used the bus pass to explore the island, and found people very helpful, and interested in providing a great tourist experience. The island people clearly want to earn our tourist business. Give them a try, they earned it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We enjoyed the beautiful view and the waterfront location. Also, we were able to walk to the Crystal Caves, The Swizzle Inn and Baileys Ice Cream. Bus stop at entrance enabled us to traverse Bermuda with ease by bus and ferry. We did not take the all inclusive food plan because we were out all day and wanted to try different dining experiences. That worked out well.
Okay 5.1
Pros: The room was confrontable and the staff were so nice.
Cons: The quality of the food was mediocre for the price I paid.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: We loved the scenic aspect, beautiful views. I absolutely loved being able to come out and sit in the lawn chairs and see Bermuda. We really liked how central it was to everything. We also loved the caves and plan to come back when it's warmer so we can swim in them!
Cons: Wish we were told more about the all inclusive aspect of the resort. Had no idea until our last day there when we saw a sign telling us about it. Financially, it's not smart to stay there unless you are apart of the all inclusive package.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the location, the littke jakussi, so quiet, the way it is all situated, the view from the room
Okay 5.6
Pros: The pool was enjoyable as were the natural cave attractions
Cons: Food was mediocre, no room service, long walk from room to other ammenities, room was outdated, advertised free wifi but it never worked, no ice near room
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Less than 5 minutes from the airport. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room large, clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the bay. Food in restaurants were good. Not great but good enough. Bus stop a short walk down the drive. Scooter rental just outside the grounds. Bus passes gained access to all buses and ferries which will get one to any part of the islands easily.
Cons: Bathroom was small. Grounds were well removed from Hamilton, the Dockyards and elsewhere. One needed to take 20 minute bus ride or the more expensive taxi to get anywhere.

Cons: Somewhat secluded and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Facilities were beautiful ( although a bit hilly). If you are looking for a quiet retreat to relax I highly recommend Coco Reef Resort!
Excellent 10.0
The popular hotel is situated in an excellent location on the gentle cliffs at the end of the eastern part of Apo Beach. This is one of the best and longest beaches on the island. Pure coral sands and clear Atlantic waves and sun loungers, sun umbrellas and beverage service make this a great place to spend a truly peaceful holiday. The staff are well trained, very friendly, helpful, comfortable rooms and large beds, and the joy of being awakened by the sound of the waves below the terrace - very relaxing. The swimming pool is very good, just below the terrace, where there is a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner, which has been provided by experienced hotel staff for many years. There are of course many expensive resorts on the island, but we recommend it as one of the best.
Good 6.0
Pros: Nice green spaces, lovely pool area and beautiful beach view.
Cons: No room service after hours. Only one restaurant option which was limited and the room had no iron.
Good 7.7
Pros: on Elbow beach
Cons: Outdated look , could have more emenities
Okay 4.5
Pros: Staff generally friendly; Manager not accommodating
Cons: * Our room was unavailable on arrival even though we were a day late because of a Hurricane ... paid for the night we were not in the room and it was unavailable because the manager let others sleep in our room that night ... when I suggested that he should make some financial accommodation, the Manager was dismissive. * While their website pictures a beach, there was no beach in front of this property (rocks) * Rooms are outdated and show wear; sheets didn't fit; no bottled water provided; rooms too perfumed * When cleaning up the staff leave piles of garbage outside the rooms ... very unpleasant * Food was well below the quality of the Elbow Beach Resort ... salad was even served with a dead cockroach
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Coco Reef is an amazing place to stay. The rooms and views are exquisite, the staff is attentive and helpful, and the grounds and beaches are lovely. It is conveniently located 3 miles from Hamilton for nightlife, etc., and it's but a short ride (by scooter, etc.) from Horseshoe Bay Beach and other picturesque coves. In addition, the owner of the hotel can be found at the hotel, and takes great pride in his property. He also enjoys directing photo shoots of his guests :D I recommend this resort to anyone who wants the ultimate Bermuda experience.

We arrived and waited for our room while having lunch at the pool; lunch was not memorable and it would have been better to gone out to lunch, but having it at the pool was pleasant and convenient. Most of the rooms surround the pool, only a handful of rooms are located in the main house. Our room had everything we needed; view overlooking the pool, king size bed, TV, and a clean bathroom. Breakfast in the morning is lovely; you call room service between 7-10 am and breakfast is in two minutes. You can have breakfast in your room, balcony, pool, or main building. We loved the afternoon tea that starts around 4 pm: tea, small sandwiches, and cake. The staff exhibited consistently excellent service and accommodated a late check out. We loved the location from downtown Hamilton. It was only two blocks from the shops, restaurants, and ferry. This historic mansion with it intimacy and local charm was a perfect fit for us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: If you are looking for a quiet upscale place to stay in Bermuda you must consider Rosedon. It's a hidden oasis right in Hamilton. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms and grounds very clean. The gardens are beautiful. We would definitely return.
Cons: Was not a concern for us, but no restaurant or bar on premises. They do provide an honor bar in the main building though and plenty of places within walking distance.

Pros: Location to Hamilton was very good Size of room was reasonable
Cons: No water in the pool only when I raised this did the owner arrange for us to use another properties pool Breakfast was basic on Sunday no coffee was left and no staff available to discuss this with which was disappointing It may be better not to provide breakfast but just tea and coffee facilities either in the rooms or out for use eg a kettle Advertised ice machine again not available
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Pretty, well-kept grounds. Nice sized room with standard amenities (hairdryer, fridge, microwave). Though I didn’t meet staff in person, Lana was very accessible by email and very accommodating. Nice pool area and many areas to lounge outdoors. Close proximity to Front Street. Glad I found this place, I would return!
Good 7.5
Pros: It was nicely located, quiet, quaint
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing,
Excellent 10.0
Rooms are lovely, clean comfortable and pretty, with fridges for cool drinks and home made breads and cakes as part of a delicious brekky in the little dining room and staff cannot do enough for you. We had some lovely chats with the other guests there. Grounds are lovely with a pool and it is in a great quiet and peaceful spot, but it's easy to walk into town from here. You are quite near, (down the hill on way into town), the Robin Hood pub and restaurant which is great for a good meal and a drink. Also up the other way from there there is SMATTS motorcycle hire so you can walk there as well. Definitely recommend this as a lovely quality place to stay for couples, solo's or families.
