Pros: Most of the staff was nice and accommodating. The location of the club was superb, with amazing views of the ocean. You could opt in for the meal plan for not too much extra per night. Food was ok, a decent amount of options to choose from, though I wish there were fewer options executed superbly. Overall it was a pretty good deal. The beach is private and while not a ton of it, is a lovely experience. Also there is lots of places to snorkel right there off the beach, with tons of sea life to look out for. Nightly entertainment, board and card games, a game room, fishing, water activities and excursions gave us plenty to do. We enjoyed our short stay away.
Cons: Some aspects of the resort need updating, like beds/couches in the guest rooms. Also, while some of the staff was great, others were not so; it was hit or miss. Also, at times they were very understaffed, which put a strain on staff and customers alike. While it was a good stay, I am not sure I would stay here again, based on the other options on the island.
This family-friendly Southampton Parish resort is within a 15-minute walk of Fairmont Southampton Golf Club and Horseshoe Bay. Angle Beach and Hidden Beach are also within 1 mile (2 km).

Pros: The location was beautiful
Cons: It was ridiculously expensive...everything was an extra. As a couple , we spent as much on food as we did on the room. ( and we didn't eat breakfast). They even charged for the use of old snorkeling equipment.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel, the staff was so kind and friendly. My boyfriend proposed to me here.
Cons: It was pricey but you get what you pay for.
Good6.8
Cons: Service in restaurants was terrible.. For breakfast , lunch and dinner.. $28.00 for pasta with peas that they call chefs special was the size of a small appetizer.. Room was nice but old. Plumbing did not work to good.. Cater to large groups. You have to wait for everything.. Very unhappy. Been going to hotel for 20 years..
Okay4.2
Pros: Location is near one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Cons: The property is outdated with plumbing issues, worn down carpets, old furniture, and is due for a major renovation. Many of the staff were rude or unhelpful. The sheets were dirty on arrival. When issues were reported, there was never an apology. If housekeeping was called for fresh towels, it would take an hour or more to get them. Of my five night stay, one day was skipped by housekeeping completely. It seems they were understaffed as I overheard a housekeeping staff member mention she had 36 rooms to clean! Some members of the lobby bar staff overcharged for drinks and would not rectify the situation. With as expensive as the hotel room is, you would expect the core amenities to be included. They charge an additional daily fee for the use of the pool or gym. I've never felt so ripped off at a Fairmont property.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel is very nicely located on the island of Bermuda. You are a short taxi trip away from the Naval Dockyard and the hotel offers a free ferry shuttle to Hamilton. Beaches are incredible and the restaurants are very good (Bocci had the best food and Ocean Ridge had amazing beach/ocean views). Shuttles to various parts of the hotel grounds were clean and readily available.
Cons: My husband and I were there on our honeymoon and decided to get massages one day. We can both honestly say that the massages weren't that good for the price you pay. My massage therapist was very rushed in her movements and I never felt really relaxed. Spa facilities were very clean and quite impressive.
Excellent9.7
Pros: The staff are warm and friendly and efficient. Every greeting feels genuine and warm. I love the south side and that part of the island for its beaches and the trolley is so easy to catch at hotel and gets you to great beaches and to ferry to Hamiltin. You are away from everything but can get anywhere easily. I lived in the hotel in the 80's performing in a show that use to be there and remembered as so beautiful and friendly and was so excited to return 32 years later to find that same Bermudian kindness and joy.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds. Delicious food. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everyone is so nice and helpful. The place is clean and beautiful. The food is wonderful.
Okay5.4
Pros: This is one of the nicer full service hotels on the island with most immenties. But It sorely needs an update, it's very dated and generally dirty. They aren't quite as on point service-wise as they should be. But with all that said, for the price it's the best value you're probably going to get. I'm sure once they do remodel, it will be unaffrodable.
Excellent8.2
Pros: The location of the hotel was very convenient to top notch restaurants (Henry VIII, The Waterlot, Blu, Lido). Two are 1 minute away and the other two were less than 5 mins by taxi. The fact that you can rent mopeds on property was perfect. The tennis courts were $15 per hour for us as a couple to play, which was reasonable I thought.
Cons: The fact that you pay for extras a la carte is annoying. The cost of drinks at "The Dock" at The Waterlot, effectively an on property establishment and their private beach was totally annoying. Considering the beach next door was half the cost sort of indicates to me they could easily charge 20% less and still make a killing.
Nestled on the beach, this Hamilton Parish resort is within a 10-minute walk of Crystal Caves, Blue Hole Park and Bermuda Perfumery. Shelly Bay and John Smith's Beach are also within 3 miles (5 km).

Pros: the location, the littke jakussi, so quiet, the way it is all situated, the view from the room
Excellent8.5
Pros: Food was good. Wish they had more Caribbean food. Menus are more Americanized
Cons: This time of year the high is like 68-70 so it got very cold some days and jacuzzi wasn't working
Okay5.6
Pros: The pool was enjoyable as were the natural cave attractions
Cons: Food was mediocre, no room service, long walk from room to other ammenities, room was outdated, advertised free wifi but it never worked, no ice near room
Excellent8.2
Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: My room was horrible. It didn't seem clean, needed painting, the shower was awful, water got all over
Okay5.7
Pros: proximity to beach nice cove. Lots to rent at dive shop boat, kayaks, snorkel gear, etc. Staff except for pool bar staff were very friendly.
Cons: Food is lousy. Bar service at pool terrible waited 26 minutes for a drink at 2PM. Outdated...grounds dirty. outdoor seating DIRTY. Gave me wrong room key, walked in on another couple embarrassing. caves littered with garbage, towels, napkins, straws, empty beer bottles. Rooms outdated.
Excellent8.2
Pros: We loved the scenic aspect, beautiful views. I absolutely loved being able to come out and sit in the lawn chairs and see Bermuda. We really liked how central it was to everything. We also loved the caves and plan to come back when it's warmer so we can swim in them!
Cons: Wish we were told more about the all inclusive aspect of the resort. Had no idea until our last day there when we saw a sign telling us about it. Financially, it's not smart to stay there unless you are apart of the all inclusive package.
Good7.1
Pros: The rooms were clean and we got clean towels every day. The wireless services is extremely weak. The hotel is not near many things except the airport and Crystal & Fantasy Caves. It's not worth to pay for all inclusive the food is not that great and the drinks are water down. We had two lunches and a dinner during our 5 days stay. The lunch was okay but the dinner at Palm Court was terrible. We ate out for most of our meals. The Sizzle Inn and the Bailey Ice cream shops are nearby and are very good. The beach area is small but comfortable. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so, it makes it easy to explore the islands. The hotel had bus pass or token for purchase. The staff we spoke were very nice and always willing to help.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We enjoyed the beautiful view and the waterfront location. Also, we were able to walk to the Crystal Caves, The Swizzle Inn and Baileys Ice Cream. Bus stop at entrance enabled us to traverse Bermuda with ease by bus and ferry. We did not take the all inclusive food plan because we were out all day and wanted to try different dining experiences. That worked out well.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing and so friendly. We loved the breakfasts, our room, the atmosphere, and the caves. We had a couple massage in the cave spa and loved it. The sound of dripping water reverberating through the cave was just so relaxing. I recommend a stay here to anyone who visits bermuda.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everything. Staff, rooms, beach, location, price and view
Cons: Beach bar closes too early.
Excellent8.2
Pros: The staff were friendly and eager to see we enjoyed ourselves. The hotel beach on the bay is convenient, nice, and uncrowded. We used the bus pass to explore the island, and found people very helpful, and interested in providing a great tourist experience. The island people clearly want to earn our tourist business. Give them a try, they earned it.
Excellent8.2
Pros: Hi quality/ friendly/ green/ short taxi ride from airport/ beuatiful
Okay5.1
Pros: The room was confrontable and the staff were so nice.
Cons: The quality of the food was mediocre for the price I paid.
Excellent9.3
Pros: Less than 5 minutes from the airport. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room large, clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the bay. Food in restaurants were good. Not great but good enough. Bus stop a short walk down the drive. Scooter rental just outside the grounds. Bus passes gained access to all buses and ferries which will get one to any part of the islands easily.
Cons: Bathroom was small. Grounds were well removed from Hamilton, the Dockyards and elsewhere. One needed to take 20 minute bus ride or the more expensive taxi to get anywhere.
Nestled on the beach, this Paget Parish resort is within 2 mi (3 km) of Elbow Beach, Marley Beach and Par-la-Ville Park. Bermuda Botanical Gardens and Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute are also within 2 miles (3 km).
