Everything easily accessible, no traffic, staff friendly and responsive
There are friendly and responsive staff, high-quality service, comfortable and clean rooms and delicious and varied breakfast. Everything is commendable.
Everything! We were there this summer and decided to come back again! Staff is wonderful, they arranged everything for us! Location, service, rental-car, accommodation, food, simply everything was amazing! All our wishes and even more came true! We're coming again for sure! Thank you Perla!
Beautiful view from the room, very good food, perfect location on the water and a nice walk to town centre. Some staff were extremely helpful when we had difficulty with our rental car. One front desk staff member was not at all helpful and that suggests some training is needed. Access to the hotel by car was difficult and not well sign posted.
Great service, restorant, food, location, only excellent emotions.
A wonderful location , perfect for visiting Montenegro, as it a short easy walk to the town Herceg Novi . Hotel is very clean with very nice room , views from terrace fantastic .The services and staff are highly professional and cooperative. Breakfast was amazing :omelet with cheese and bacon -super tasty! Recommend -will definitely come back !
People very friendly... Excellent breakfast with nice view to the sea. Comfortable and very well located.
Spotlessly clean and hearty breakfasts. Our room was very small with a tiny balcony, but most of the other rooms were much bigger with lovely balconies. However, all rooms have use of the garden and its terrace/balcony.
We were made very welcome at this boutique hotel by the owner and staff. The room was small but very clean and relatively new. We were able to have some washing done free by the staff and delivered to our room. he view from our room over the bay was sensational and it was only a 3 minute walk down the steps to the water's edge. Highly recommended for couples and great value at around 70 euros per night. Thw walk back up the hill from the beach but you have to give a little to get a lot.
The staff of the hotel was very friendly, the owner even came to meet us on the main street and show us the way to the hotel. The 2+2 apartment was a bit too small for the family with children and luggage.
The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Even to the extent of giving us a lift to the bus station, and putting us on the right bus. Breakfast was excellent, and taken on a lovely terrace overlooking the sea.The rooms were immaculate. This hotel is a little gem.
The host of the hotel is exceptionally warm, generous, helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did he pick us up and drop us off at the bus station, he personally served us a welcome beverage and our breakfasts, which were included in the price. We only wish that there were more owners like this! We liked everything about our stay, without exception.
We stayed for a night in October and it was great. Our room had a fantastic view of the water and the room was spacious and comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and even had coffee waiting for is when we got up. We were very pleased with our stay.
The hotel owner and staff were attentive and very very helpful without being overly fussy. Our taxi and sightseeing guide were organised by the owner at a good price with extremely friendly and helpful locals. Breakfast is a Balkan legend! We hardly ever needed lunch, a selection over the week of meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, cheese pie, ham and cheese pancakes, fruit, yoghurt & sweet pastries. PHEW. The view from the breakfast patio is sublime likewise from our balcony, uninterrupted straight to the sea through the headlands so you could see the ocean cruise ships coming in on their way to Kotor. A free beach was just at the bottom of a long flight of steps to the promenade. Our room had everything you needed clean and fresh. Our only problem was the bed, we are heavy 12 & 16 stone with arthritis in our backs. We have never found a comfortable bed abroad yet as we have to sleep on our sides so to be honest it was nothing out of the ordinary but bear it in mind if you have similar problems and pack a mattress booster or buy a cheap blow up pool lilo for a few euros. I wouldn't let this put me off as I expect everywhere would be similar except luxury hotels which would cost a thousand pounds a week more and the service would not be as personal
The owner was very helpful and friendly. His wife was an excellent cook Bedroom decor and linen dated . Hard towels .
excellent environment at the pool area, very good breakfast, cleanness
Swimming Pool, Spa Reaction is bit too slow for customer requirement.
Nice breakfast, excellent location, Terrible noise from pool area
The mimoza building where we were accommodated was very nice, comfortable and quiet to the back side of the building. Beds very good, high quality matrasses. One staff member at the reception was very good and helpful (Jelena). Others not so much experienced.
Location of the hotel is excellent. Its private beach and swimming pool. Good spa area. Small number of sunbeds around the pool. Disorganized brekfast serving.
Waterfront resort, close to old town, close to restaurants etc. location
The swimming pool was big. AC was not good, too hot in the room even if you set to 15 degrees. For 5 days the water in the swimming pool was very cold due to a malfunction.
The weloming and very efficient staff, their flexibility to accommodate guests. The choice and quality of the food available at breakfast and in the dinning areas was very good.
Lovely large swimming pool very few in this country at the price Stayed at lower registar hotels in Montenegro and Croatia with much better breakfasts.
I was very pleased overall with the customer service, the room, the food was excellent and the halfboard that is included in the room price is a great bonus. My experience with Hunguest Hotel Sun Resort was great and I would recommend it to anyone.
being the only guests in such a big hotel gives the impression that the managment of getting guests is nihil which is a shame
It was a friendly nice clean place - once you settle in
Very good location at the beginning of the Boka Kotorska, breathtaking view to the Harceg Novi, the hills and the bay. Easy transportation to Herceg Novi, very good opportunities for excursions organised in the hotel. Good, healthy and interesting food. Outstanding pool facilities in the hotel, Enetertaining actions every night. The evening entertainment events are too loud and the rules of the swimming pools are not respected, easily accident may happen due to jumping into the fully busy swimming pool.
Hotel itself, bay, hotel beach and nature around. Actually hotel has not very good presentation in internet, indeed it is much more beautiful and should be attended by everyone. Rooms are new, sea view from each balcony is breathtaking, breakfast is full of varieties, beach has a Blue Flag standard with its clean water and beatiful location. The only thing is room cleaning staff... Not fully oriented and can't do anything without reminder!
The location is very good. The beach is really excellent, one of the best in Monternegro. Close to 2 small cities where you can walk a lot and where are many cafes, bars, restaurants, activities for children. The territory of the hotel is very very good and green. Boat-taxi may take you for 3 Euros to the city and back. Food in the hotel is very poor especially for children. Cleaning of the room is very poor, but quiet enough for a short stay.
quiteness, view, sea hotel staff (some of them)
Nice view, rennovated room (family appartment). The hotel's restaurant was really awfull.
amazing help and friendlyness from front desk lady, a real asset to Montenegro tourism! loads of tips to help plan our whole trip! modern stylish, comfortable rooms. Lovely food. Next to a busy road, likewise so was the beach so didnt make for a very quiet or relaxing stay, nicer places to stop and swim a while. Waiter was a little unavailable and had an unusual sense of customer service. Food was very nice dinner and breakfast but we felt both the accomadation and food was overpriced compared to equal quality we have had in Montenegro. Would mainly suit those who value the little style details and extras such as gowns/slippers.
The owners run the hotel like an extension to their family and were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The setting is beautiful and relaxing just metres away from the shore of the Bay and the hotel itself is almost brand new and very tastefully decorated. The meals were delicious and the service in the restaurant excellent. Overall it offers far more than is discernible from the description and at excellent value for money we highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Montenegro. The only point worth noting here is that although easy to access by car it wouldn't be ideal if relying on public transport. It is however very close to the ferry across the bay as well as having a local bus stop outside. There's not much to do within walking distance - but both Kotor and Herceg Novi are within a short drive (and the food is so good in the restaurant there's really no need to go out for dinner!)
The staff was great, particularly the restaurant staff who were very efficient and friendly. The rooms were large and comfortable and done to a very high standard. The location of the hotel was not ideal. It was a very lengthy bus ride to either Herceg Novi or Kotor, and the closest restaurant was approximately a 30 minute walk. I would recommend that people staying at this hotel make sure they have access to a car.
Excellent service and value for money.
Milena and her husband were extremely helpful with all their suggestions. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and all the staff did their best to meet our requests even though the english was very basic. They genuinely seemed happy to have us staying there which has not been our experience at other hotels in Montenegro and Croatia. The decore of the rooms is new and very pleasing after long travel days. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed being away from the bustle of all the tourists in the main towns and yet we were so close to visit them by scooter. I recommend hiring a scooter while you are there. A fun way to see Montenegro and the roads are so easy. The only comment I have on this side was that our shower did not drain well but the bathroom itself was lovely.
Lovely rooms and fantastic staff.. made us feel very welcome...especially. receptionist and chef... like a family hotel. The breakfast was great and the Serbian chef very good and welcoming ;-) hmm ... constant music in dining room and the location outside the hotel is not so good - slightly noisey road and rubbish bins and bad pavements etc...
Very friendly and helpful staff, but most of all the restaurant was incredible. Completely unexpected, with a great wine list and good service. The hotel had only just opened, so still working out some kinks, but nothing that was too bothersome.
Casa del Mare was easily one of nicest hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip (we stayed at 7). It's a 30-40 min drive to Kotor, but it's much cheaper than staying in Kotor itself. The hotel was beautiful, like a 'boutique' hotel, beautifully designed & good facilities. Very clean. The reception & restaurant staff were lovely, very friendly & very helpful with what sights to see, what towns to visit, and what to eat & drink. It is right next to the road, but so is every hotel/house in the area.
The location of course but mainly the staff who couldn't do enough for us during our stay! I stayed for my birthday and they surpised me with birthday cheesecake, wine a a red rose! The were so lovely and made us feel really special! Nothing, it was all fabulous!
We loved the staff and they could not have been more hospitable.
The hotel is located in a very beautiful area and offers a splendid view of boka Kotor. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The description of the hotel facilities on the website is overrated. There is no sandy beach in the area and the guests could lie only on the concrete beach located in front of the hotel restaurant and practically there is no separation between people lying on the"beach" and the restaurant guests. The swiming pool is very small and is located at the hotel entrance. In short, the place is too expensive compared with the facilities and entertainment choices offered.
Nice hotel, the staff friendly, the price is expensive for this country and place, it is hotel under €90
The location, accomodating staff, cleanliness, restaurant. The wonderful view from our balcony. Nothing we wanted to do was a problem. We cannot think of one thing. We would like to own it.
Forza Mare is a very small but nice & cozy hotel at Dobrota/Montenegro. It is the only boutique hotel in the Montenegro I'm aware of. Recommended for escapists.
Our staying in the hotel Farza Mare was fantastic. We got all, that we wanted: cosy, calm, comfort, beautiful nature and view around us) Thank you!!! nothing....
Amenities were impeccable, bayside patio for sunning and dining were excellent, service staff willing to go extra mile, room was pleasant.
This hotel has everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. The staff are very nice. I had a great stay and would recommen it to anyone.
Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. The design aspects and attention to detail are exceptional. No
Very beautiful setting on the bay surrounded by mountains. It was also small which was very quiet and relaxing. The staff were nice but somewhat abrupt. For the amount of money that was being paid, they did not provide an excellent standard. The level of professionalism amongst hotel staff was lacking and there appeared to be many "friends" of hotel owners/staff using the facilities which made it lose some if its "exclusivity" for a small hotel. Also, the shower drain was initially blocked.
the staff was great the rooms are beutiful the food is exelent the hotel is like heaven the price and the privecy
The position of the hotel was superb, just opposite a private beach, and facilities for drinks and meals to be served there. A peaceful, relaxing stay in wonderful surroundings. The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful when we extended our stay to 2 nights. Not easy to find - directions need to be clearer. Fifteen minute car drive from Kotor the nearest town. Not a 20 minute walk to be attempted on a fairly busy road.
