Overview

Just outside Ipswich, the Suffolk countryside takes over, with well-kept lawns and open green spaces all around. Yet the area's main routes are close at hand, making it easy to explore the region. In this convenient setting near the village of Copdock, Ipswich Hotel & Spa offers a peaceful base just off the A12 and A14, away from the hassle of town-centre parking. The restaurant looks out over the manicured grounds, a calm setting for a meal after a day of meetings or sightseeing, and the spa and indoor pool are there for winding down. Ipswich and its waterfront are a short drive away, with Constable Country and the Suffolk coast within easy reach for day trips. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, generous and comfortable, and the conference spaces make this a natural choice for events as well as overnight stays. Set up to let you eat, sleep, and meet all under one roof, it is a practical, well-placed base for Suffolk. Book your stay at the Best Western Ipswich Hotel and Spa and let the countryside do the rest.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Many guests praised the hotel for its spacious rooms and convenient location. However, cleanliness was a recurring issue, with several reviews mentioning dirty carpets, mould, and general lack of upkeep. Service received mixed feedback, with some staff described as friendly and helpful, while others were seen as unhelpful or inattentive. Breakfast experiences varied, with some guests enjoying it and others finding it disappointing. Overall, while the room size and location were highlights, cleanliness and service inconsistencies detracted from the experience.
