The grounds were well kept. Beautiful views. Private beach area and nice pool. Rooms are updated and very spacious. We were there for a wedding around sunset and it was great!
Unfortunately we were there when the seaweed was infesting the shoreline which took away from the beauty. It also smelled terrible. But that was not the resort’s fault. Just timing.
This hotel is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and activities. There is a nice pool, kayak and water activity rentals on-site, beach lounging area, and outdoor games for kids and adults. Great location and newly renovated rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast provided each morning was very convenient as well.
The bar/restaurant at the pool was very nice but it closes at 5:00. It would have been nice if it was open as late as the pool is open, especially to order a burger or something for dinner and eat at the pool instead of having to leave the hotel. Not a deal breaker by any means as we had a great experience there, but just a suggestion.
I enjoyed the location and appreciated the size of our room, almost a a one bedroom apartment.
We didn't like that you could hear every footstep and door slam from our neighbors.
Great trip despite construction
Awesome location, beautiful grounds, and an amazing beach front. Rooms were modern despite an older feel to the resort.
Construction at the time of visit. They cut through a sewer line near my room and it was stanky. Was a minor annoyance and did not detract from my trip. But you may want to check and make sure the constuction has been completed.
Would highly recommend. Service was excellent. Room was comfy and nice.
The pool was beautiful and is heated! The views were amazing.
At the time we stayed there was no wifi. There were tiny gnats crawling around the bathroom sink every day. The window hinge was broken so that the window would not close; however this was fixed immediately by the staff by screwing the window permanently shut. There was a coffee pot with supplies to make coffee, but no cups provided.
They moved us
The place they moved us to was ok for the time we had it was near the dive shop and good restaurants still would have like to stay where we planned on staying. The staff was nice and rooms clean
Check in was not tell after 4pm check out was by 11am even though we could stay and use beach after checking out it seemed rushed maybe next time we can stay longer and at the main resort.
I loved the view and the size of the rooms however they were dated.
There is nowhere to even buy a bottle of water on the resort. Needs a tiki bar and at least a snack bar.. Or soda machine!
We have been coming here for about 6 years now for lobster mini season, accommodations are perfect for us....
It would be awesome if the marina could comfortably accommodate midsize boats, I'm talking about 24' to 30' range... my dredging out some of the slips and channel. But I also understand that there are environmental red tape and hefty fees to make that happen down in the keys...
one bedroom with full kitchen
sofa bed was broken and housekeeping said oh well sorry...and did nothing for fix...stay away from room 118
