Generally - nice stay & good services
it's slight narrow road from outer, that car might hard to pass by if have a few travellers to drop by by cars etc
The location was good. Walking distance to Durbur Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Because of the way the hotel is build it becomes a quiet haven from all the noise in the streets. Breakfast was good. The masala tea was excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Can't think of anything.
I really loved this hotel, it's super friendly staff, beautiful garden, comfy rooms and excellent location! I came back 3 times during my travels thru Nepal. Had dinner and lunch there a couple of times too, was excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (at the level of some of the best places I stayed at over my months of travel!). The manager Sanjay really takes hospitality and a good atmosphere for guests and employees serious! Also he has a lot of knowledge on treks and excursions. I can definitely recommend this hotel
-Furniture/curtains/rugs can use an update -Toilet paper is such poor quality that it's useless -They still use little plastic throw away bottles for soap etc instead of one big reusable dispenser -A lot of breakfast bowls are covered in throwaway plastic, the presentation of breakfast and adding of vegan fresh options could be better -area before you come into reception could look a bit more appealing, but smart to always have doorman there to greet you, that already helps.
Staff was super friendly. Great hospitality. Food was amazing. Staff Suman was particularly friendly and helpful. Keep it up.
Toilet was a little clogged. Rest of the facilities were fine.
The location in the city is fantastic. Located in the middle of the lively and lovely Thamel area but also on a quiet side street. The only noice were the school kids playing on school yard next door. There are lots of very good restaurants nearby and also fantastic shopping. The staff is really social and very very helpful. We had a driver from the hotel for two days that drove us cris-cross around Kathmandu to all the sights. That was fantastic. This hotel is very much worth the money and I do really recommend it. We had great breakfast every morning and the staff organized whatever we wished for including great coffee.
We liked everything about this hotel but there is no elevator which might be a problem some.
