Pros (+) The room was really roomy and clean. I love the mobile checkin and checkout and digital key. We went straight to our room when we got there and left without having to stop at the front desk once.
Cons (-) The bed sat on a metal frame. Every time we moved, we would hear a big thump as the bed resettled on the frame. We could hear the same thing happening in the rooms near us too. We would hear a thump coming through the walls or ceiling. The sheets on the bed did not fit properly and they kept pulling off of the mattress at the corners. Pros (+) The staff was wonderful and everything was clean. The main lobby and breakfast area were nice and typical of most Hampton Inns. The room did have a microwave and mini-fridge, which is always nice.
Cons (-) The rooms were not quite as nice as other Hampton Inns. Hopefully they will be updated soon. Or perhaps our 3rd floor room just hadn't been updated yet. The counters and tub surrounds were yellowed and older. There was a subtle smoke smell, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The wallpaper was also noticeably older than other Hampton Inns.
