Overview

Only 10 minutes' drive from Latina, Foro Appio Mansio Hotel is a historic post house once used on journeys to and from Rome. It offers an outdoor swimming pool. Every room is different. Some have wood-beamed ceilings, others feature stone arches or quotes on the walls. Each is air conditioned and comes with free WiFi. A sweet Italian breakfast is served each morning. There is also a bar and restaurant. Foro Appio Mansio is a 2-day walk from Rome. Nowadays, it's quicker to drive along the Via Pontina, which gets you there in around an hour.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's beautiful, tranquil location and appreciated the comfort of the beds and the overall atmosphere. However, reviews were mixed regarding service, cleanliness, and the pool: some guests found the staff friendly and helpful, while others experienced issues with responsiveness and organization. Cleanliness was noted as good by some but lacking by others, especially in bathrooms and common areas. The pool and spa facilities received both positive comments and criticism for maintenance and cleanliness. Overall, the setting and comfort stood out as highlights, but improvements are needed in service, cleanliness, and amenities.
