Well we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Mayfair and the staff could do more for us. We come back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates, such a great supprize for both myself and the wife. Would we stay again definitely 100%.
The room's need total renovation as they are old and worn out. Good cleaning would also be a good start.
The rooms are small, old and run down. Worst value for the money.
Location is great, good access to big chunks of London by foot Rooms are spacious for a big city Staff very helpful
Gym a bit small Too long a wait for elevators Breakfast crowded late in the morning, not so special
The location was fantastic.
The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them
