Initially all was going ok Thne while having a shower. I spotted mould on the ceiling and the walls. Raised it to the reception staff and they took hours to send someone to deal with it. While we were out they smeared the mould on the ceiling and it looked worse. They left the mould on the wall and never asked if it was ok.

Very worn down. Clean. Staff were all very nice, from reception to housekeeping and breakfast staff. But really needs a refurbishment. Water pressure in the shower was extremely low. Difficult to get hot water.

Room was smallish but comfortable. Pillows were v good. Shower didn’t have great water pressure. Signage could have been better and clear the staffing challenge has hit hotel hard with some staff not knowing how things worked. Most apparent at breakfast which was a bit chaotic and the food quality wasn’t brilliant when it arrived.

Pros (+) My stay was excellent! The staff were wonderful and the hotel itself is very well kept. The decor and amenities give off a really high-end vibe. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade on check in. We also received a bottle of champagne after mentioning that it was the end of our honeymoon in the U.K. We ate at the restaurant associated with the hotel and the food was excellent. I c...
Cons (-) Hotel is in the financial district and is kinda out of the way on the weekends. Upside is cheap and good breakfast during the week for all the business folks. If you are feeling more spendy, the hotel restaurant is really good.
