Food was good for breakfast. Room service spent more time sitting outside the hotel then cleaning the rooms. There was allege growing in the pool not to mention it was falling apart. They didn't speak English we had to keep asking for things like shampoo and toilet paper.
Had problems with the wireless internet, otherwise everything was fine, but for such an expensive hotel, i did not expect o have any such problems. Would probably opt not to stay there again.
Rooftop views. English speaking front desk. Breakfast.
Excelent facilities Maybe a little more domain of spanish.
I am used to travel to Manaus on business (I am a consultant) and at this time my client booked this new built hotel from September 8 to September 10, 2010. It was such a nice surprise when I arrived. Perfect location, very nice restaurants at a walking distance. Lovely new rooms and helpful staff. I will definitelly come back!
the hotel was great, clean, spacious and good food.
Location. Breakfast. I was on business. There was not one electric connection working in the appartment. The electrician need 2 hours to fix all of them. Internet connection does not exist. I went to Mercury to be able to work. Also, one of the front desk gentlemen, totally unprofessional.
The people at reception were very helpful and friendly. That immediately makes a good impression. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. No.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially in ladies bar and restaurant Some of the aircons in the hotel not up to standard. Might be a hotel setting.
The hotel is situated in nice grounds, the rooms are okay. The hotel staff does speak no English, French or German.
The staff was very helpful and fluent in English. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It served as a perfect base for travel in the Amazon basin and as a good alternative to the overpriced hotels on the Amazon.
I woke up in the morning and placed my foot in water The entire room was flooded. Not sure how it happened. However, the staff was quick to show up, give me another room, offer me breakfast and deal with the situation. The staff were extremely nice.
The rooms were well set out for a business person that requires good desk space and power plugs conveniently placed.
Staff, especially at ladies bar and restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful. A bit far from waterfront, shooping, interest points.
Two tour guides were excellent (Isabella and Ednilson), and explained everything about the tour in depth and detail, which made the tours very interesting. Food was below average, but the worst thing was feeling a prisioner. You can only do the Hotel Tours, but half of them were unavailable, and if you get the wrong tour guides, the tours aren't so great. None of them left on time, which in some cases took out the fun of the tour. We ended up forced to stay in the hotel due to lack of available tours. Moreover, we had to rush our way back on the last day. Not what I expected at all going to the amazon jungle.
the position is very good:5 minutes from the center.Staff very friendly and polite The room was noisy,in the next building there were some works in progress and it was quite difficult to have a rest in the afternoon.Breakfast not so good and poor.
In general fairly nice hotel. Stayed only one night and left very early in the morning. So no idea about the breakfast.
location, close to Teatro Amazonas The fitness centre is a joke, as well as the pool
The location was not too bad, if you get a room high enough, you can get a good view of the city. 1) The complementary breakfast setup was not sanitary a) the ham and cheeses were at room temperature for who knows how long (room temperature in Manaus is 85F - 90F) b) The fruit was under an airconditioning unit that was dripping on the fruits 2) The staff are not well trained and are not that helpful 3) We were charged extra and it was not reflected on the website, because my girlfriend and I were not married, that cost an additional R$20 a night and on Monday the price went up R$60. 4) The airconidtioning units could not keep up with the heat coming from through the window (they are single paned) so if everytime you left the room it took a long time to cool back down.
Barely left the hotel as Manaus was not a very nice place and certainly did not feel safe. The food quality in the hotel was not great and staff had very little english. Booked a double but was given a twin room (2 single beds) and air conditioning not great. Was glad to only stay one night.
Convenient, clean, friendly staff.
