10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, relaxed and flexible. A lovely warm retreat after a windy walk!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the south stack, Holyhead mountain and north stack areas I intended walking. I did so. I didn’t use the outdoor activities but I will be back again with my partner in may. It’s the best room, better than my own place I’m living in South Manchester.
Cons: I found if you opened the window, the doors can be blown about in the wind. For £20 a night that’s my only criticism. I’ve stay in some atrocious accommodation and this is the best room I’ve ever stayed in. I will be back!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly people and good value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Co.fotable room.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff greeted me warmly as they checked me in and showed me to the room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had tea and coffee making in the room along with a TV. En suite bathroom was very clean and the shower worked well. It is above the Pub and after checking in I journeyed down for a tasty lasagne and a pint. It is also right in the town center in easy walking distance from the train/ferry terminal (just be sure to exit the train towards the ferry terminal and use the foot bridge that brings you right into the town center).
Cons: Although I didn’t mind, any time one is staying above a pub there is a higher noise level to be expected. Unlike US bars, the pubs close earlier and the crowds disperse at a reasonable time (before 12).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Flexibility was excellent. My arrival time was late,1am, for an 11pm check in time, but arrangements were made so I could access my room. The room itself was spacious, and well appointed, bar as far as I could tell no wardrobe. Special mention for the tea and coffee facilities, much needed after a long and sleepless trip from Dublin, unlike most hotels that restrict you to a couple of tea bags etc, there was plenty on hand to drink. The bed was spacious, important for a tall lad like me, as was the shower, just bring your own sponge.
Cons: Apart from no breakfast which I knew when booking, nothing to add here really.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good nights sleep food in the bar was good example of traditional pub grub. The private car park was big enough for my van and everything was satisfactory. No complaints and good value for money
Cons: Nothing negative to say about this place at all.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: After having spent the weekend in london in an appalling hotel, The Stanley Arms was a lovely little surprise. Staff were warm and charming even though I didnt arrive until the back of 10 at night! The room was quaint, clean sheets and a comfy bed. Had an excellent night sleep and wish I could have stayed longer! If I was ever going to Holyhead I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Cons: Bathroom could do with a touch up of the grouting and some stains here and there but was all clean and useable. Only real shame was no hairdryer in the room. Besides this it was grand
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We use the Stanley Arms when we are visiting family in Ireland via the ferry service. This is a warm & friendly establishment were nothing is too much trouble. It is an excellent base and great value for money

9.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely surprise to find this family hotel so close to Holyhead after a long drive on a Friday evening. The bedroom was warm and very spacious. We had an excellent dinner; all the staff were exceptionally friendly. Unfortunately our stay was too short but we will be back and will recommend to others travelling by ferry to or from Holyhead.

Cons: Absolutely nothing we didnt like
7.0 Good
Pros: Food was lovely with good portions. Room service was very good.
Cons: The shared balcony was in poor condition with loose floor tiles and puddles of rain water collecting. Exposed wires in bathroom and loose internet/modem socket in bedroom.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing thanks
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: Breakfast wasnt the best and the bin in our bathroom was full
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for work at RAF Valley - two minute drive to airbase. Check-in and check-out were efficient. Room was large with plenty of hot water for the shower and good water pressure. Wifi was marginal, difficult for video conf calls.
Cons: The rooms were cold due to the boiler not working; had to ask for a portable heater. Breakfast was good but service was sometimes slow even with only a few tables occupied. Dinner menu is limited due to winter season, there's only some many nights that you can eat the Half Roast Chicken or Beef Stroganoff ... I was excited to see a board offering various pizzas only to be disappointed that pizzas are not available on the winter menu.

Pros: We stayed for three nights whilst in Holyhead visiting family and it felt just like we were at home. The rooms are cosy and I think they probably have the comfiest mattresses ever. Breakfast lived up to it's name, it was definitely the best breakfast in Holyhead. Our hosts and the rest of the staff were fab so warm and friendly. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely spotless, great welcoming from the staff, perfect breakfast will definitely stay again
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location, unfortunately this was its best feature
Cons: The rooms were extremely small and the bathroom was even smaller, had to phone the staff to notify them we had arrived as there was no other way of alerting them. On arrival we were notified that there would be no cooked breakfast available despite us not leaving until 7.15am we were left a bag which contained sandwiches, a drink each and a cereal bar, theses were left in our door the night before, bed and breakfast it most certainly wasn’t. We were due to stop on our return to the UK but preferred to drive home.

Cons: They had no record of our booking, but did show us to a double room & twin room that was available, which was fine, however 3 hours later they decided that they were fully booked for the second night? Not sure why they had the rooms at the beginning. Had to ring round and find new accommodation. Was not happy with this. Had not had food delivery so full breakfast was not all available.
