I booked online a room with 2 beds, obviously it was more than one person. Well the man up front/manager which u can tell he is the owner made me pay extra for a second person. So it wasn't even a deal that i booked through kayak. He wouldn't take my card but insisted i pay him cash which i did bot have on my person. He was very rude about it and even told me to go to the 7-11 and use the atm machine which i choose to never use. He was even rude to my girlfriend in front of my daughter. He gave me the key and told me to bring him cash. Around 10 at night he was knocking on my door asking for the cash. I told gim i had my card he said no card. The next day i got cash from the bank to pay him and i specifically asked for a reciept to show proof of the fee. He refused to give me a reciept and never put the money in the register. Its obvious it was a faulty charge and he wanted to keep it off the books. He was very rude along with his wife. Made my 4 day stay with my family very uncomfortable . The man raised his voice to my girlfriend and was very disrespectful. My daughter was a lil frightened by that. The man and his wife live at the hotel and are the owners themsleves also being managers. Their son stay's there with them. I called kayak customer service and informed them about it but they were not helpful themselves. They took the hotels side and refused me a refund by saying i had booked only 1 guest but i obviously booked a room with 2 beds. Kayak are the ones who allow u to do that to begain with. Makes no sense. Place managed very poorly and they do not satisfy the costumer.
When I was booking a room online with 2 beds by accident I only put 1 adult. And when I got to the office for my key to the room. I told the guy in the front desk about it, and he told me I’ll have to pay $20 more for an extra person. Even though the room I booked has two beds. So, I ended up paying around $87. I didn’t received a receipt, the guy in the front desk kept the $20 for himself. I didn’t saw him open the register, or type anything in.
