Pros: Hotel was very clean with friendly atmosphere, rooms very comfortable and could not hear any noise from others in hotel or outside.

Cons: We felt the breakfast possibly could of been served until slightly later.

Pros: Very comfortable traditional hotel, pleasant and obliging staff and wonderful food. Close to Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott. Also Melrose Abbey and the Eildon Hills

Cons: Noisy generator outside bedroom window but did go quiet at night.
