Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

We experienced crazy long lines for: the bus between terminals, immigration passport review; passport review before the metal detector, and detailed tests on permitted volumes of shampo, and toothpaste. The agent forced me to check a normally permitted carryon bag, then the bags took 45 minutes to be placed on the turnstile after the flight. Not an efficient airport."

You were late leaving from Venice to London Heathrow on August 1 which I barely made the flight to Glasgow and then coming back your flight is late leaving Edinburgh to Heathrow And my luggage doesn't make it again! Cons: "I was told that I had to check my bag because it would not fit in the overhead bin. When I got on the plane I found that the overhead bins were ample sized for my hiking pack. I know that British Airways has a policy regarding bags in overhead bins that basically says 'if you cannot lift your bag into the overhead bin un-assisted, you must check your bag.' My husband and I are both experienced hikers, we lifted our packs unassisted on the last plane, yet they forced us to check our bags. I'm glad our bags made it to the UK, but this is literally the first time I've checked a bag and had it arrive. Also, the boarding passes sent to me on my phone were rejected by almost every security/boarding check. This is after BA supposedly fixed their error with the previous boarding passes. Overall not pleased with the experience but glad I paid under $300 for my ticket."

On long flights we like to get up and move around a few times, and not only is it hard to get out of our seats to do this, there is little room to walk or stop to stretch. Heathrow London is tolerable if one is going to London, but as a place to change planes, it's exhausting. The various walks feel like mazes, and going from one terminal to another, even by tram, is time-consuming and tiring. We fly to Europe often, but we will try to avoid both British Airways (Airbuses, at least) and Heathrow."

When I arrived it was crowded nobody know which line is for checkin and which line is for dropping the bag. I finally went to the counter and ask and the lady said, she couldn't accept it as it was 30 left before departure. She pointed me to another lady who also washed her hand. They were both reluctant and finally accepted my baggage but the security line was too long for me to reach departure on time. Horrible. The ladies who at the departure counter have different asnwer for my checked in baggage. I/m so tired from this domestic flight that I haven't completed."

Cons: "First a large number of the flight was flagged for special screening which meant that they had to do additional procedures and were very understaffed as many of us talking near 100 people had to stay behind and wait for over an hour as three employees screened us in detail. This while the rest of the plane was already boarded. Thus the flight left late and arrived very late to LAX. Secondly the refrigeration on board for food was broken thus spoilong the food so we only received one meal on an 11 hour flight which we were starving and not what we paid for during this flight. They did offer snacks but when not having a full meal as paid for it is a huge let down. Thirdly why is Wi-Fi not offered on this flight. Due to the late departure and late arrival we missed my connection to TUS and was not able to make calls or email during the flight. Not acceptable. Very unhappy and will never be flying with British Airways again. I WILL ALSO NEVER LET FRIENDS AND FAMILY FLY WITH THEM. An airline as prestigious as BA needs to work better at ensuring the minimum on offering wait we the customer pays for and this did not happen. Staff was amazing and very friendly but we were very dejected and felt that your brand suffered a lot with this experience. I do hope to hear from airline about this incident as my wife and I travel constantly."

Cons: "The BA crew was awful. I was not feeling well and wanted a cup of tea. I didn't realize you had to purchase it. I gave a member of the crew my credit credit card she said out loud "your card is declined" several people heard and then proceeded to hand me my card and walked away. I was mortified. I, of course thinking my bank had put a hold on my account because I was outside the US, called them to find out why it was declined and was told they had no idea and they did even see the $2.00 charge go through and therefore it wasn't declined on the bank's end. The way she handled it was awful, no discretion. I was visibly ill and just needed something warm to help me feel better. Needless to say I will never fly BA again and will let my company know how I was treated."

Cons: "Their delayed flight from Milan to London caused us to miss our flight from London to NY, and thus our flight from NY to Denver, which was standby. When we explained how difficult it would be to catch another flight to Denver from NY with it being the weekend, and attempting to get a flight to another airport with higher chances of getting us home, their customer service rep informed us that as long as they 'fulfilled their contract' to get us to NY, it wasn't really their problem how we got home (or couldn't get home) after that."
Pros: "We arrived safely at our destination. Our bags arrived at our destination. Plenty of room in the overhead compartment. Due to a security snafu unrelated to the airline, we arrived at the gate after boarding was over but the gate crew were gracious and welcoming and let us board. The male flight attendant was quite nice. The entertainment screen choices were decent, and the hand-held controller was a great improvement over the touch-screen variety. There were multiple lavatories available. There was a decent amount of space by the lavatories that we could use for stretching and exercising. The wrap they gave us for high tea was pretty good."
Cons: "Seats were very cramped. I was sitting on the right next to the window, and there was no room for me to extend my right leg while facing forward; I had to twist to my left and extend my legs under the middle seat in front of me (fortunately my wife was next to me so I could do this). In addition, the passenger seated in front of me decided to recline his seat, nearly knocking over my drinks in the process, which left me with very little usable space. I haven't ever felt that cramped on an international flight. The main meal was very low quality. I had the pasta and it was quite awful; the sides were quite bad, as well. One of the female flight attendants was rather testy and unpleasant throughout the flight. She, and another female flight attendant, seemed put out when passengers asked questions about the food offerings, as though we should already have known what was being served. One passenger had just woken up and seemed confused and the flight attendant was quite impatient with him. The flight attendants were quite stingy with the water and only poured out a little bit at a time; they also came very infrequently, which meant that we had to keep pressing the call button to ask for more (which made us feel bad about bothering them). They would not give us a whole bottle of water, saying that there was not enough, but did, when we asked, provide multiple plastic cups of water at a time, which just seemed wasteful (of cups, not water). The timing of drink service was also perplexing: they did not offer drinks at least 45 minutes before or after bringing the boxes of salty "movie snacks"."

This is my third round trip with BA and while the trip home last year I experienced poor customer service from the flight attendant assigned to our side of the plane, both my inbound and home bound flight crews, this time were exemplary. Very kind and caring. The pasta was very good."
Cons: "The single Halloween size kit-kat bar that we were given as a snack. Was so small that I naturally believed that we could take more than one. I was politely told that the singe 3.5inch twin wafers were all that we were allowed per person. We have a candy jar, in our office and with the extra supply in the supply closet, we would have been able to give everyone at least two. So, my recommendation is if you are flying transatlantic, to stock up at Heathrow for extra food. Also, the seats were very very small. I was lucky and the plane was not sold out, so both flights my seat mate and myself were able to put a seat between each other. I found myself reasoning that for the price of the flight I was paying for transport to England not for comfort."

I felt it was very rude and unfair, particularly as I had to lift her to an awkward height (whilst also holding a baby) as the camera was in a fixed position. Granted, there was some snow and some technical issue since the fire alarm system was flashing the whole time, but still, there were only two announcements made during that time, and the second one to let us know that we'd have to arrange for delivery of our luggage on the website. By that time, it was past 11;30pm and everyone was dead tired, when the flight had been supposed to land at 7:25pm. I think the blame is to be laid on the JFK installations. Everywhere I travel in Europe, airports are in brand new condition, and not only departure areas like in the US. No wonder baggage delivery was a mess after just a little snow/"
Cons: "Boarding process atrocious! First a gate change from A to C gates, requiring a train to transit. Then, after walking down a jetway, we were sent through an emergency exit, down two flights of stairs and herded onto buses, and I mean herded. We (including elderly and moms with infants) alongwith our carry-ons were harshly ordered to squeeze together on a bus until there was literally no room to move. A lengthy bus ride with very disgruntled passengers to plane was followed by another set of stairs up to the cabin door. Finally, our departure was delayed 30 minutes while the bags of 2 passengers who got lost in the airport (probably on a bus or train) were retrieved. Not sure whether the fault lies with Heathrow or British Airways, but the experience was bad enough to avoid both in future."

Also, the entertainment choices of movies in English were poor. I would have preferred great classic movies that can be watched over and over than new ones with a low rating. I only watched one movie. Also, found the map hard to navigate and understand. Landing was painful to my ears as usual and not sure anything can be done about that. I did take a pill to help with the pain."

Cons: "Couldn't say as the flight was cancelled on arrival in LHR. Took 5hrs and 8 seperate question to discover what was going on and to be offered a flight to Glasgow as an alternative. The flight to Glasgow also took of late arriving at 2310 local. Europecar were great hired a Mercedes E220 with a gps to complete the journey to Edinburgh, at a cost of 600GBP for 3 1/2 days including fuel. Arrived 8hrs late, seriously affecting sleep patterns and ruining an already tight schedule. BA could have met us exiting ac from LAS in T5 explained situation, new boarding cards etc, total fail, should have booked flight with Lufthansa to EDI via Frankfurt for 600USD less. BA Staff comments such as " I'm sorry I haven't been trained for this situation, I can't help you after 40 minutes" etc Total lack of staff available and able to assist, super poor knowledge, massive queues not moving."
Cons: "BA is the national flag carrier, operating from the newest terminal at the country's top airport. You would think that they could manage, in the 21st century, to get us to our flight on time, using an airbridge instead of 30 year old buses. Said buses were also too few in number so boarding took the thick end of 40 minutes as they shuttled back and forth. BA are a complete and utter joke. There is no excuse for this level of penny-pinching inadequacy."

Then we had to sit in the plane on the tarmac for another 2 hours, while the captain kept coming up with the weirdest excuses about why we are delayed. First they had to do a manual passenger head count, because the numbers didn't add. After an hour, he says they are finally done counting and are waiting for the truck to push the plane on to the runway. He says that since this is a A380, it needs a bigger truck that is in short supply at Heathrow!! He came on the intercom few more times in the next hour with more excuses about why we are delayed, but by then I was too mad to remember what the hell he was saying."

Speedy boarding is a joke ! It just means that your the 1st on the shuttle out to the aircraft. Then everyone else piles on & your the last off so are last on the plane & all the overhead lockers above your seat have been filled up.

Cons: "The plane was departing at 8:25 and boarding at 7:55 according to the ticket. At 7:57 there was no gate announced for the flight yet, so we went to the bathroom, came out and saw our gate and headed there. We got the gate wrong, but were only about 5 mins out of the way, so me and my 70 year old grandmother ran through the terminals and we got to the correct gate at 8:16 (less than 20 minutes from the time the gate was announced) and they would not let us on. Easy Jet’s policy (which we have a picture of) is that the gate closes 30 minutes before departure, but we did not even have a gate until less than 20 minutes from the departure. We did not hear them announce our names or last call (until the minute before we got there, and it did not seem like if they would have let us on if we were one minute earlier either). After this whole ordeal and being at the airport on time and through security in time, we went to talk to the check-in person to see what we should do. We stood in line and did not get called up (3 people did not have customers but were not calling me up), so I asked and one girl reluctantly said I could see her. As I was telling her what happened, she got a phone call, answered it in the middle of my explanation, and then chatted for a few minutes with another coworker about who was working and who was going on lunch when. After she hung up, she looked annoyed at me, and I told her again what happened, and she said she could help and to go to customer service. At customer service, we asked to see if we could get on the next flight which wasn’t leaving for over 7.5 hours, which they said we could but would have to purchase our tickets and luggage all over again. The person working was mostly professional, fairly efficient, but pretty callous overall. On top of all this, when they pulled our luggage off the flight (somehow they can board a flight of 60 ish people and still have time to remove our luggage), they pulled one of the wrong suitcases off so we had to go collect our luggage at or destination, and someone else went luggage-less. Ultimately, my grandmother’s first European trip and this was the worst experience we’ve had so far, but after $200, 6 hours, and tears from both of us, we made it to our destination and will never fly Easy Jet again."

Cons: "Even by budget airline standards, Ryanair is mediocre at best. The chairs are uncomfortable for a 4 1/2 hour flight - manageable, maybe, for a shorter journey but not anywhere good enough for that length of time. Boarding took an unusually long time and even priority passengers were stood around waiting to get onboard a good 15 minutes or so after already having gotten into the jetway. Not to mention after landing, we were stood over an hour waiting for baggage because, for some reason, four different flights used the same carousel (and presumably only had one team getting baggage off all four planes) despite there being a second one free which I'm sure they could have easily used. Don't have four planes landing near concurrently if you don't have the facilities to deal with it. Ryanair is cheap, yes, but by the time you have to pay ridiculous amounts for things most other airlines consider normal (for starters, you can't even take a full size hand luggage bag on board without priority boarding), it adds up to being less "budget" than it would have been to fly with a higher end airline like British Airways and you'd have to be an idiot to choose Ryanair over a cheaper, higher quality, airline. Honestly, I have no idea how people choose Ryanair more than once in their lifetime."

In the end we were just dumped off by the luggage caramel and had to have the slightly better disabled push the severely disabled out whilst I pushed the luggages. The holiday was fine but the traveling was just terrible due to clear lack of resources and capacity of airport teams"

They DO NOT WANT TO HELP AT ALL !! it just seems to me if you are in customer service you should understand that people who travel from other countries are helping with your economy,YOUR JOB, If you don't fit the model move on,find something else to do in your life. Don't make me feel like I owe you,really you owe me a easy time getting through all the troubles of your airline.If some one from the airline reads this you should play under cover and see what i mean ,act as a person who needs help,does not understand your accent .you just really are bad !!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed for more than 4 hours"
Cons: "I checked in online as instructed. Then at the airport I am told I am not checked in, that online check in is over and that I have to pay £50 PER PERSON to get printed boarding passes. Then the flight was delayed over 90 minutes."
Cons: "Delayed for a couple of hours, and had run out of most things on the plane."
Cons: "Boarding was very slow, 30 minutes late taking off. Everything else was okay, nothing special but nothing wrong"

Pros: "I chose Ryanair because of their 10kg cabin baggage allowance. They've really improved from my past (and after that I swore I'd never use them again) experience. Really slick."
