The cozy Inn on the Green, a historic bed and breakfast, is found in Middlebury, Vermont. Built in 1803, the Federal style house was renovated in 1997 and has been serving customers ever since. Owners Chris and Chelsea Griggs, as well as their staff, pride themselves on being attentive, friendly and are happy to their guests in any way they can. The quaint bed and breakfast is within walking distance to downtown Middlebury where guests can find shops, restaurants, hike the waterfall, or tour Middlebury College.
Every one of the twelve non-smoking rooms at the Inn on the Green features a comfortable queen size bed, a sitting area, and a private bathroom. Rooms are available with additional sleeping accommodations, including twin size and trundle beds, to accommodate larger parties. Each stay includes a complimentary continental breakfast featuring locally made baked goods, cheeses, yogurt and fruit. Breakfast can be enjoyed with other guests in the main room or guests can ask for it to be delivered to the room and dine in bed.
The small details and special touches make the Inn on the Green stand out from the rest. Guests receive coffee, tea and snacks at night, as well as a turn down service. Plush robes can be found in every guest room. Bathrooms are equipped with Aveda hair and skin products. The Inn has bicycles available for guest use should they wish to ride into town.
