The Days Inn Mt. Vernon is located in the Skagit Valley and is surrounded by the Cascade Mountains on the east and the Olympic Mountains on the west. We are located 50 miles from the Canadian border. The area is noted as the Home of the annual International Tulip Festival, which runs during the month of April. We are 64 miles from Mount Baker and just 15 miles from the Anacortes Ferry, which provides daily service to Canada and San Juan Island. There are many golf courses and 3 great Casinos within a 10 mile radius. Mall and outlet shopping within 2 miles. Many shops and restaurants with in walking distance. The on-premise Morenos Family Mexican Restaurant has a bar and is opened for lunch and dinner. Banquet and meeting rooms are available, and a seasonal outdoor pool and a huge parking area for RV or truck parking. 30 miles to scenic Deception Pass Park with bridge across the Puget Sound to Whidbey Island. Dogs are permitted with a fee of 30.00 USD per night.

Pros:Everything was clean; cozy reading chair and desk; free Wi-Fi worked great, even for streaming; breakfast includes make-it-yourself fresh waffles; includes a mini fridge and microwave; heater/cooler works fast and is easy to adjust. Really good value for such an affordable price
Cons:TV channels aren't digital so quality is pretty grainy even though the TV itself was nice. But with free Wi-Fi, who needs TV anyway?
Pros:Almost didn’t have a room because you overbooked never using your services again
Cons:The whole facility is very dated & the pool is tiny. Elevator in poor condition. Pictures on website very deceiving. Most importantly, our room was not clean! The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, the headboards were sticky, and the ceiling was SO dirty, I tried not to look at it as it made me feel uncomfortable to be sleeping there. The breakfast provided was okay (very limited selection) - definitely nothing special and the eating area very tiny. Over all, not worth the money and will not be staying there again.
Pros:Bathroom appears to have been updated in recent years
Cons:This is an old property with relatively fresh paint. Hallways are narrow and depressing. Room is spacious but chairs have fraying upholstery and the bed was spongy and bouncy. Staff were nice, and helpful. Some of the guests looked a bit questionable.
Cons:The coffee was worse than that you would find at a gas station.
Pros:Location was perfect for our weekend getaway.
Cons:Mattress was horrible... Rest of the room was very nice..
Cons:The rooms were filthy. The carpet was stained and smelled. The bedding smelled. There was mold in the bathroom.
Pros:Good value for the price. Internet quality is good.
Cons:Not much for the hot breakfast, just toast and waffle, no muffin or danish. Internet is disconnected, once devices are not in use. This is troubling.
