Breakfast not offered because of Covid
The room! Room number 114 was horrible… TV didn’t work, phone didn’t work. Room had a Bad smell, so bad my husband couldn’t sleep. The room apparently had water damage, as there is what we thought to be a water line wrapped the wall. When we opened the curtain for sunlight…we saw what we believe to be black mold growing in the corner. When my husband tried to speak with desk clerk, he felt it flew over their head. Seeing how this was a Wyndham hotel I expected a well cared for facility. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and I have a tainted view of Wyndham.
Room was fine the problem was not with Marriott the problem is KAYAK
KAYAK failed advise the hotel I was getting a room and I had wait over 2 hours to get in our room it was minutes before midnight and still was charged the full rate. This is the last time I will ever book a hotel through KAYAK

Lady at front desk seemed a little impatient. Mannerisms over the phone sent off bad vibes. Rooms were a little smaller than expected but very comfortable.
We got into town very late and we staying closer to the beach the rest of the week, but we opted to stay here our first night to save money. It was convenient. The staff was helpful and prompt with dealing with our issues. The front desk offer recommendations about dinner locations since we arrived at 9 and were concerned that we could not find any place close.
The sheets on one of our beds were dirty. This was immediately fixed, but rather annoying at 12 pm when I just wanted to go to bed after 12 hours on the road. Also, the website had a picture with a hot tub that we were so looking forward to after our LONG drive, but the location does not have a hot tub. This was very disappointing.

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding at Grand Dunes. The front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Wanda. The breakfast was actually quite good and the employees made sure it was refilled often with fresh hot and cold items. There is plenty of parking.
The room had a very strong mildew/urine smell. Also, the bed and pillows were extremely soft.
