The Grand Hotel Parker’s is located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, not far from Piazza Amedeo, which has been a meeting point for artists, literary men and poets ever since the 18th Century. Today, it has become a crossroads leading to the main city attractions like Via dei Mille, Via Filangieri, Piazza dei Martiri, Mergellina and the splendid seafront.
The hotel’s position is only one of the main aspects that make it so unique. Thissplendid building, which now hosts the hotel, was constructed in 1865 Once, a small villa belonging to Prince Grifeo , was later rented out to Guglielmo Tramontano, who turned it into a hotel. At the end of the 19th Century, George Bidder Parker, a famous English researcher of marine biology, a guest at the hotel, was so fascinated by the warm Neapolitan hospitality and by the strategic position enjoyed by the hotel, that he decided to purchase the building , giving it his name.
In 1945, the hotel was bought at an auction by the Avallone family.
Thanks to its cult of hospitality and to a careful customized service, the Grand Hotel Parker’s makes the stay of its guests an unforgettable, involving and fascinating experience.
With its unique view of Naples, the George’s restaurant is an exclusive location in the city. Precious glass panels offer an ideal context for those who wish to admire the landscape from a higher position.
The restaurant offers guests an exceptional dining experience with its wide choice of food and wine, including especially created menus as well as traditional Neapolitan dishes
Baciòt, the chef, elegantly combines novelty and tradition, thanks to his experience gained closely working with some of the greatest chefs like Gualtiero Marchesi e Alain Passard.
The Bidder’s is located, like the George’s Restaurant, on the sixth floor of the hotel and offers a spectacular view of the gulf. The background music makes the atmosphere magical, the ideal place to enjoy some refreshing drinks or innovative cocktails and a selection of the most prestigious maisons combined with the chef’s specialities.
As part of the exclusive circuit of the Bond Bar, Bidder’s offers the opportunity to taste as many as thirty cocktails and drinks among James Bond’s favourites.
Recently, the Cigar Corner has been created: it is a welcoming area dedicated to the smoking of special cigars matched to cru chocolate bars of the most prestigious brands, rum and spirits, green tea and Scottish Whisky.

Great decor, location, and friendly service. The whole place feels grand and otherworldly. Very tasteful.
the reception was wonderful
there was mould in the bathroom and the bed had springs poking from it. the room service cost was 54 euro for a salad and sandwich...ridiculous
The views from the restaurant, bar and roof terrace, looking over the Bay of Naples, is quite superb.
Our own room, situated at the side of the hotel, had no view. However, those rooms with a frontal position all have excellent views.
Great location with panoramic views of the city. I believe it is trading on a great name but needs a little over hall. Dinner was great
Bit of a walk / taxi ride to other places. Dreadful bathroom manager needs to stay in the room to see that there is no light available while in the shower. Shower dated could be turned around and there would be a fine shower space
Enjoyable stay, away from the busy part of the city. Great view over the bay
Fabulous, character filled, old world style but with up to the minute luxury. The most beautiful hotel bedroom overlooking the Bay of Naples. If our holiday had finished after our stay at Grand Hotel Parkers, I would have still been happy!
We got directions from the car hire company at Naples airport, which were pretty direct, however we later followed the hotels own sign posting which took us through hair-raising narrow side streets! Next day we drove the easiest route away from the hotel and down to Pompeii, so just get good directions!
3 star in realitty- small rooms, old looking, bad location
The locations was very good and the buffet breakfast was also very good. The other hotel amenities were mediocre and the hotel was understaffed.
The decor in the rooms needs updating. There were stains on the bedspread and the chair was broken.
Service & Location
We arrived at the hotel around lunch time and found a very warm welcome with a simple check in and were shown to our room to find a lovely bottle of wine and some cakes awaiting. During our stay we found all the staff very helpful. We visited the hotel resturant on our last evening and had a very enjoyable meal.
old fashioned and charming.
