Pros (+) The location was within walking distance to the beach and a few places to eat for lunch dinner and breakfast. The rooms are tidy and the tv/cable actually worked! I'm always amazed that so often this basic service often doesn't in hotels. The wifi was fast as well.
Cons (-) NO AIR CONDITIONING! There was a ceiling fan that made racket at any speed and opening the windows provided street noise. It was a cool couple of days for us but if it were not the lack of ac would be a significant mood and comfort killer. I don't think I would stay here again and gamble with the weather.
Pros (+) Loved the palm tree outside our door and really liked the fact that it was a totally revamped modernized war time coast guard bunkhouse. Done with the shingle siding it just fits do well on the coast. Far nicer than the big stucco hotels
Cons (-) Neighbours came home about midnight were very loud for about an hour. Need a " quiet time policy"
Pros (+) Clean comfortable room. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. Not too bad of a walk to Pelican Pub
Cons (-) Had issue originally with wifi, but all that was required was router reset. Owner/Manager jumped right on it. That was only issue but was resolved.
