Pros (+) It was within 20 mins of watkins glen race track. There was a fridge and microwave in the room.
Cons (-) Everything else. The hotel itself is filthy - the carpets stained, the halls reek of cigarettes blended with cleaning products. We called because we stupidly forgot toothpaste, nope, the front desk doesn't carry extras. There's no bathroom in the lobby/first floor at all. The comforter in the room had all sorts of stains. Pros (+) The location is good, just a few miles from the Corning historic area, and the area seems good. Breakfast is included, though it's pretty basic (Eggo waffles, cereal, instant oatmeal, a loaf of bread for toasting, packaged pastries, juice, etc.).
Cons (-) Request not to have a room facing out the back. There are a number of what seem to be residents rather than guests who gather out back each night, grilling, smoking, playing cards, drinking, and making a lot of noise late into the night. We just ran our A/C unit nonstop and it drowned them out. There didn't appear to be an elevator, so if you have heavy bags, be prepared to carry them up one fligh...
