Food was awesome. Beautiful hotel and grounds Only problem is not enough staff. Nobody answers the phone even in the Nirvana section, there is never a concierge present Ismail, the manager, was simply the best in solving any problems

Pros (+) The staff is great and they all paid my daughter tons of attention. They made us feel really welcome.
Cons (-) The hotel is nowhere near anything, so you can't walk to shopping or a restaurant. Your only choice in Mauritius is taxis (or a bus) but Le Meridien has their own taxis and set their own rates which are almost double the market price. The restaurants in the hotel and the drinks (if you didn't get the all-inclusive package) are exhorbitantly priced. 420 MUR for a cocktail, sheesh.
