Good 7.0
Pros: Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere of the Rad. The terrace. The location in Side is really central. The equipment was complete (even black Moroccan soap was provided).
Cons: No sign on the front door (impossible to find without assistance the first time). Maybe just a little bit too service-oriented. Only vegetarian food served at diner (we didn't taste, but few dishes we glanced at looked nice). The early morning prayer (5am is a bit early to be collaterally woken up, although I have to admit that it sounded very nice).
Good 7.0
Pros: Rachid and Jan are great and I liked having a chat with them after our day in Rabat. The riad is excellent and perfumed and really relaxes you. Rachid e Jan sono carinissimi ed é stato interessante chiacchierare con loro dopo la nostra visita a Rabat. Il riad é il migliore che ho visto. Bellissimo arredamento, profumato e rilassante.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The owners, Jan and Rachid, are lovely and friendly and make you feel at home. The Riad is very new and beautiful, a perfect mix of Moroccan traditions with European design to make everything very comfortable. The continental breakfast with some taste from Morocco is served every morning on the terrace at the top of the Riad. Jan, from England, is simply perfect to show you the beauty of the city with all the information to get them. Salé is a small city with a very charming Medina: a perfect standing to discover Rabat, very close to get the city in few minutes but far enough to have an its own personality.
Good 6.7
Pros: So kind people so friendly and everything is clean and good. The room are great enviroment.
Cons: I'm sure that soon they will improve that (the riad is new), but the room and the windows do not have keys, and it is not possible to have dark inside the room. To find the place ask someone or you will never find it.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Just good!=)
Okay 5.7
Pros: The free internet connection
Cons: Breakfast was expensive and below standards for this kind of hotel.
Good 7.7
Pros: The front desk staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable. The restaurant was superb!
Cons: I would have liked an exercise room with modern areobis equipment. You should restrict smoking in the hotel lobby.
Okay 4.3
Pros: Mainly, I liked the location, the bathroom with its modern design and facilities, and the furniture compared with the price.
Cons: I did not like the fact that they immediately withdrew the amount of stay from my credit card (after booking through booking.com) and the fact that it is not refundable. Also, I did not like the idea of the “open bar” to the reception. Also, I did not like the fact that the staffs were somehow “nosey” and I noticed that the longer you stay, the worse their treatment gets with you especially at the restaurant by breakfast time.
Good 7.0
Pros: Spacious, clean and quiet room. Fast wire-line internet, helpful staff. Everything is good.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Professional staff.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7.2
Pros: Comfortable modern business hotel; cable tv in several languages inc french, english and italian; reliable free internet; good bar area; walking distance to all major tourist sites.

Good 7.0
Pros: The friendliness of the owners. Breakfast on the roof terrace.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Actually not much! unfortunately there was a misunderstanding on the rooms which have not the private bathroom...so we just spent one night and Booking helped us to find another vey good Riad. I strongly suggest , also to booking, to highlight better if there are rooms w/o bathroom as it could make a big difference, mainly if the common baths are in a different floor! In any case the geneal impression of he Riad is quite poor and also the service, for sure for the same level of price you can get much more!
Cons: The only night we spent there they gave us two rooms with bathrooms at higher rates even if in one didn't work the cold water. In short it was not a good experience!
Good 6.0
Pros: Very traditonal Moroccan Riad in the narrow streets of the old town of Sale. Locating it and parking the car was difficult but the hotel staff were very helpful. I was impressed with the care the owners had gone to to present the riad to visitors. Very clean.
Cons: Air conditioning would be a definite improvement. It was getting a little warm and humid when we were there in May.

Pros: Good location, clean.
Cons: Desk people were a bit cold but all other staff were helpful. Food was good but not great.
Good 7.6
Pros: The stay was fabulous. lovely prepared meals. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The tranquility of the hotel was amazing, just been inside the garden/swimming area was a holiday in itself . great hotel indeed.
Cons: The only thing on the website under services its written that there is an Airport Shuttle. On arriving to the hotel asked if they had an Airport Shuttle they said no, we would have to order a taxi which they would do. So that was an extra expense that we did not plan for. To me that is not an Airport shuttle but taxi service that I could get at any Hotel.

Good 6.7
Pros: Good location, english speakinf and excellent customer service
Cons: Specious and beutiful but not very practical bath room
Good 6.7
Pros: Warm welcome and attentive service
Okay 4.7
Pros: Locatrion, pleasant reception, food snacks in the rooms. We were booked for 2 nights originally, but flight schedules caused us to change to one night. Please correct your info.
Cons: Having stayed in upscale Riads in Marrakech and Fez, Dar El Kebira was a let down. The ambiance is antiquated and while I like that and it makes it cozy, it could have been more elegant. The owners, managers, and staff were most accommodating. A guest should be made aware that a "duplex" room means that a double bed could be ina tigh space on a second level accessed only by step tiled steps, so those with navigation problems should be steered away from this room (Orange). There should be more amenities in the bathroom-hairdryer, better quality soaps, shampoos, and towels. We stayed in the Organge Room and only one bath towel was provided which we didn't notice until it was too late to request another our first night.
Good 6.3
Pros: Wonderful location and remarkably interesting building.
Cons: No
Good 6.7
Pros: intimate, freindly, colourful, inspiring, attentive, comfortable, and a really great breakfast on a lovely roof terrace
Good 7.4
Pros: The Riad is well located, close to the Kasbah and within the medina. I stayed there for one night on a whistle-stop tour of Rabat. Location is great - accessible on foot from the entrance to the Kasbah des Oudayas, and very close to the action in the middle of the Medina - although far enough away to be quiet enough to sleep. I didn't have any trouble with noise. The place itself looks gorgeous inside - a real oasis of calm - especially when you get up to the roof terrace for breakfast. I took dinner there in the evening - which again, I couldn't fault. Overall - a gem of a place. If you're trying to find it, there are signs up around the media; or if you have a GPS, the location is N34 01.693 W6 50.156

Cons: you can hear everything very well inside the hotel
Okay 5.2
Pros: Interior design is great.
Cons: It's a nightmare to find it.

Pros: The hotel was very clean, the service was very helpful, attractive decor and the location was excellent. Very relaxing over-all

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing. I had booked only one night via booking.com and additional 5 nights agreed only by mail with the owner. I was in shock at the situation of the place and wanted to leave the next morning. He held me hostage and threatened me and kept insisting I pay for the whole stay eventhough there was nothing legally binding. Until I got local support he settled for 2 nights and let me go. If I were not in Arab country I would be able to sue him for detaining me and holding me hostage. No matter what it is illegal to trap someone behind locked doors!!!! He is a fraud, and his place is nothing like a hotel, I was totally tricked with the message from booking.com and will never use this site again for booking my hotel stays.
Cons: There were no locks to the room neither inside the room for luggage. The bar lock was from outside as well as inside so someone can lock you in the room. The rooms are exposed to each other. Dirty. Old. Uncomfortable. Not sercure. You have no privacy. It's like one big house with 5 rooms open to each other. A cracky wooden door seperating the rooms. The owner is a aggressive and hostile, I was a victim of harrasement (detained). In all cases, no hotel worldwide ever makes you pay for the rest of your reservation. As long as you iform them of your next day check out before noon you get charged for the duration of your stay only.
Mediocre 3.6
Pros: Away from turistic areas. Decoration very nice!
Cons: Payment by cash, no credit card!! No good views from terrace. Not as good as it looks on the website! Just a 3 star hotel.
Good 7.0
Pros: We were staying 1 night on our way to Fes; so did not linger in the Riad nor in Rabat. The room was on the roof terrace so very light and bright. Room was good, bathroom the same, breakfast a feast. Internal courtyard smaller than others, but still a haven from the bustling outside.
Cons: No.
Okay 5.6
Pros: Very good view from the terrace, Old city (medina) around, Interior is very nice in arabic thematic.
Cons: Don't even consider taking this room on the terrace - it's smelly, noisy and dirty. Rooms on first floor should be okay.
Good 6.0
Pros: The room was excellent concerning the view of the city, the river and the sea. Self cooking facility was sufficient.
Cons: I wanted to be guided to my room sooner.
Mediocre 3.2
Pros: Rooms are spacious and the hotel is quite easy to reach. Really good breakfast and there is the chance to dine in at night
Cons: First of all there is a tremendous smell of rubbish, it was not possible to open windows because of that smell, and it was really terrible every time we got out of our room. It is really strange that almost nobody mentioned it in other reviews since the hotel is sitting just in front of a rubbish deposit, visible from the terrace. When leaving, Stephane, the owner asked us to pay cash and when proposed to pay with Credit card he replied that we might go to a nearby bank to withdraw local currency. I would expect all hotels on Booking.com to accept credit cards
Good 6.4
Pros: The hotel is very nice, and the staff very kind. They have kept the house with its "original" design and decoration which makes it different from the other hotels.
Cons: Although not being a responsability of the hotel, the odors coming from the garbage acumulated during the weekend in its vicinity was very unpleasant.
Good 7.6
Pros: The helpful, friendly staff. The authentic decor.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7.2
Pros: I loved the room decoration though it was open to the pathio but it was magical for me (not to my friend), they welcome you with moroccan tea and sweets, I strongly recommend it to who ever like such old houses and decorations
Cons: I only wished if they could have switched on the ac before we arrived because it was so hot in the train from Casablanca to Rabat, and by the time we arrived we were doomed
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the location is good, possible to get on foot to the center. The staff was very friendly, Stephen gave us useful information about Rabat, what to see and where to dine. Thank you. Atmosphere is excellent, real orient, authentic Morocco.

Pros: The hotel is just a short walk from the train station and directly opposite the medina wall, within easy reach of most of the sights. The room was simple but clean and, as we opted for a quiet room away from the street, a relaxing haven from the bustle outside.
Cons: Not much of a view, but as noted above worth the sacrifice for a quiet room.

Mediocre 3.7
Pros: the shower and tv were broken
Okay 4.7
Pros: Its location
Cons: The price/quality relation is very poor. Also, they have an associated Car hire business which misquoted prices, and then when I said I was going to pay with Credit Card said to me that i would then have to pay 20% additional. The way this company wanted to give me the car hiring contract was also not very transparent. A Hotel should only recommend serious companies.
Okay 5.3
Cons: Wifi price and validity period
Okay 4.6
Pros: It was in the center, the lobby was large and nice. THe rooms were big and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The alarm on my door made a rattling sound all through the first night, I couldn't sleep at all. I told this to the reception; they said they would call a technician but they didn't. The next evening again I insisted and they called the technician at 12 o'clock at night. They didn't apologize for the inconvenience, they didn't offer any reductions. They didn't change my room. Only after the second day, when my husband couldn't enter the room somehow, they changed the room.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Close to local market and attractions
Cons: Room was not that clean. In couple of times the towels were missing from the bathroom! Had to call room service. I left my silver chain in the room, e-mailed to ask to give to my colleague who was still there….still waiting for the response
Good 6.0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: the room was booked through the site, however when i arrived there was no reservation, lucky that they had a room available.
Good 7.6
Pros: It was comfortable and convenient and we met there the group with whom we were going to be traveling -- all of whom, by the way, did not have as pleasant an experience with the Hotel as we did.
Cons: $review.cons
Mediocre 2.4
Pros: Quick room service but often not exactly what we asked for
Cons: I had to ask them to clean the room, the 2nd day it wasn't done, when I asked why they hadn't done it the first day they said because the no entry was on the door handle, it was until 12midday afterwards it was 'make up my room' following my complaint when I returned to the room a 2nd day when it hadn't been cleaned at 3pm they came and cleaned a little but didn't hoover the carpet
Okay 5.6
Pros: Second time I travel to Rabat and I stay in this hotel for business. First time stayed in junior suite (very large and confortable) second time in standard room at 4th floor. The hotel is good if you are using it only to sleep and to work. Few minutes walking from downtown (theatre, post office, station area) with lot of restaurants and shops. Few minutes walking from Rabat Medina.
Cons: It has no swimming pool, no sauna, no gymn. If you are travelling for business and your wife is with you she will hav anything but the room and large hall to stay!
Good 6.0
Pros: Room was clean - restaurants and bars were good but a bit over priced, but food very good
Cons: Not a lot of ammenities considering it's supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Lost electricity in my room for a few hours also before it was fixed. WOuld recommend but only as somewhere basic to stay
