Room and staff very good
Sllightly out of centre. Was ok for us but older people might find it bit far
Great little place.
Location and breakfast were great!
The staff was very friendly and there were no bad surprises of any kind.
It is not in a very busy area. I wasn't as close to stores and things as I would have liked on this trip. During a busy party season, it would be a quiet place to stay.
The receptionist was very helpful. Rooms in good clean condition and attractive restaurant attached was very convenient.
It is a bit further from the centre on the ground than it looks on the map :) Still within the range when walking doesn't get annoying (takes 20 min or so). Friendly staff and good price (got 51 euro/night for a week long stay). Free Wi-Fi (but they seem to charge for cable connection).
The room was rather basic (compared with "average" 3 star hotels "on continent") and I certainly would wish for a somewhat larger bed. Breakfast was ok, but nothing to be excited about.
The warmth and flexibility of the desk staff (who had my room ready early after a 2:30 am arrival (Boston time) at the airport), and my lovely view of the mountains across the bay. Th desk staff also phoned the flybus when I left my gloves on it and packed me a sandwich breakfast for an early departure.
The location is a little remote from the town, and the steps up are a little steep - but well compensated by the fact that the view is great!
Close to everything, but quiet. Beds were comfortable, staff were nice. Parking available. Breakfast was sufficient. Internet access
Small tv's and showers, but this is typical for Iceland.
The breakfast was very nice, the rooms were clean, it was a quiet place to stay at, it was not a far walk (5 minutes) from the main downtown area.
Great Service, Very Clean, Very Hospitable.
Bring your walking shoes, it is about 20 min walk to downtown, but its well worth it for the quality of this hotel.
Good reasonable food in related resturant. Good quite but convienent location. Staff most helpful and friendly. Our group of 6 had no complaints. Met or exceded all expectations for type of hotel.
Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff. Free guest computer was available for checking emails etc. Easy walk to resturants and tourist information office.
Warm, comfortable and clean room with plenty of hot water for the shower.
Tv remote was difficult to work. Not enough tea, coffee, sugar & milk available in the room.
"Located in Hlíðar, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Laugavegur, Hallgrimskirkja and Laugardalslaug Geothermal Pool. Perlan and Harpa are also within 1 mi (2 km). "
