Really great location. Walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, pier 39 & 33 (for Alcatraz tours). Concierge was helpful to arrange shuttle to airport and map of.local area and nearby attractions.
Paying for parking amd not the most helpful for helping with luggage. Check-in attendant was not the most friendly. View from room was odd - it was looking right at another room. Not quite a courtyard just a small square that looks at other rooms.
The rooms were clean, the cleaning staff was friendly and always greated when we would pass. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options, we always are early and it seemed to get really busy the later you ate but they never ran out of food. I felt like it was a great value! The hotel is located in fishermans wharf and is walking distance to the pier and tour buses, bike rentals, shops, and dining options.
We did not have hot water the first morning however it was fixed when we got back to the hotel later in the afternoon. The concierge staff could have been better- they suggested an Italian place for dinner that had terrible reviews- - im glad I checked ahead. We also asked about bars and nightlife and she sent us to broadway street which is full of strip clubs- didn't see many bars- after the fact we figured out that we should have been closer to the beach on the same street. They lacked knowledge of the areas, I know it's a big city but they should be familiar with areas to send tourists.

The parking fee is outrageous ($45) and you must use valet to park your vehicle. Customer service was professional; yet, it wasn't above and beyond what should happen.
