Pros (+) The cabana was awesome, as well as the staff. Beautiful pool with poolside bar. Centrally located in the heart of San Ignacio.
Cons (-) No telephones in the rooms. No ice machines at the resort. Also no little mini refrigerators or microwaves in rooms. Also charge to bring a guest to the resort to use the pool even when accompanied by a paying guest

Pros (+) The cabana was awesome. Nice pool. Great location. Nice little restaurant and poolside bar.
Cons (-) Front desk staff was not informative on extra charges. I was charged 15.00 per guest to spend time with us at the pool. That is ridiculous!! I booked the resort based on being able to meet with family and friends and enjoy the facilities at the resort. Didn't expect to be charged daily for that. We did spend money at the poolside bar for food and drinks. It's ashamed to be charged more then a room...

Pros (+) The tours we booked through the resort were worry free. I had heard from some postings of challenges traveling to Tikal in Guatemala. We simply booked our tour ahead and brought our passports. They took care of everything. We had a great guide, rode in an air conditioned shuttle on both sides of the border and the guide was with us the entire time. On the way back we even had a late lunch in Guate...
Cons (-) Breakfast was good at the resort but less of a value then in town. Cabanas are great for 2 but kind of tight with 3. No drinking water in the room. Water was only available at the bar.

Pros (+) Love the location, amenities and staff. This is our second stay and I'm sure we'll be back. All of the Midas' staff is very conscientious but don't push you. Got help when we asked but were able to enjoy our vacation without pressure. Per the locals the temps were exceptionally hot this time so the bartender was willing to turn one of the TVs facing the pool to the NHL playoffs for my husband and ...
Cons (-) Enjoyed the pool and it's surroundings, but for the number of people staying there at the time, it seemed loud kind of late at night.

Pros (+) Comfortable pool, great bar and bartender, and cute/comfortable little cabins with beautiful grounds. We stayed here the night before heading up to Tikal and had a great time. The staff were very accommodating and we have no complaints.

Pros (+) Delmi is the sole reason this resort runs well. Rooms were cute & comfortable. Location perfect. We never had to worry about sightseeing trips . She arranged everything with great guides. Talk about a jewel in the jungle!
Cons (-) Our room was not as advertised. Delmi made things right by upgrading to a lovely room.
