3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Our room was a decent size and fairly comfortable Our en-suite was a reasonable size too Plenty of towels, soap and toilet paper Car park was free and had plenty of spaces

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly welcome, lovely room and delicious brekky.
Cons: Better signage from approach roads, luckily my husband used to live in the area and found it ok.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely decor, tasteful bedroom with all to be expected: very nice shower room, tea facilities, mineral water in glass bottles (no plastic!), even got some glasses for take home wine. the barn conversion is very interesting - this holds the breakfast room and doubles up as tea room during the day for visitors. There are farm animals near by one can pet - great for kids. Alpacas, free range hens (supplying breakfast eggs), donkeys...Great place for families, but nice for us as getting on couple, too. We went so we could walk to Martin Mere, and there is a footpath from the property to the conservation wetland centre. Most of all we were very impressed with how helpful and personal everyone was- we were picked up from the station so we would not have to walk in the dark or wait for a taxi. Our landlady printed us off a map to get safely to Martin Mere. The standards of helpfulness reminded me of the warmth and hospitality I received when living in Ireland. Fabulous!
Cons: nothing.ok the weather (storm Dennis).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast lovely, especially as the produce was local especially the fresh farm eggs - chickens were round the corner! Location, once found, was lovely, the area is very flat and a bit misleading, but once found it's picture-postcard beautiful. The land overlooks Martin Mere bird reserve, and to see wild swans flying in in their hundreds is pure magic, especially against a setting sun.
Cons: Nothing to do with the Farm, but with very little street lighting, it's hard to find a place for an evening meal nearby, particularly while still in the depths of winter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly Very Clean Caterd to our needs Very quit
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Fab breakfast.
Cons: N/A

We enjoyed the evening entertainment in the Red Lion, celebrating St Patrick's. Had a wonderful nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Staff in the Red Lion are very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Chris is a great cook. Breakfast was fantastic. The Red Lion has a very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay and we will definately be staying again

Pros: Good breakfast and nice staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was lovely
Cons: Maybe breakfast time could have been extended a bit on the Sunday however the staff were great and let is have a later time to accommodate friends travelling to join us for breakfast. A bit draughty around the door of the room at night
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff in the pub were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious. Breakfast was decent. Very good value for money.
Cons: Shower was far too short and dark. Only 2 sets of towels were provided for 3 guests. Bed not the most comfortable and the duvet too narrow to cover the edges effectively. Sofa bed not great for a teenager.

7.0 Good
Pros: Room, staff
Cons: The wait for a local taxi service the next day. And not much in the way of 24 HR activities and services for night owls.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa.
Cons: It should have been buffet breakfast but wasn't and they only had limited stock. Can't complain though, this was just before the lock down was introduced and I know people were panic buying so the hotel found it difficult.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room we had was very nice and the reception staff very helpful.
Cons: The breakfast looked greasy where it was left in the dishes and cold.

Pros: Room nice and clean. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Bathroom decor a little dated in the standard rooms and some mildew in the grout. Hotel bar quite expensive - £7.50 for a single G&T and it was only Schweppes tonic water, not premium brand.
