excellent breakfast. Very efficient staff. very good location bath took about 20 minutes to run
The property is decidedly a Grande Dame. You almost feel underdressed if not attired in formal wear. However it a far from stuffy. The staff are exquisite, knowledgeable and charming. The team of Concierge were outstanding in their recommendations and arrangements. . Breakfast buffet is one of the best I've enjoyed. The Executive chef needs to learn how to get a brigade together. Dined twice in the main restaurant. On the second night the majority of the diners waited endlessly for their courses to arrive. Obviously a big break down. Any Chef, worth their title, should have been in view and pologizing for their ineptitude. The only blip on the radar but it was a massive one that tarnished 3 incredible nights.
swimming pool in centre of city, beautiful setting, very friendly and helpful staff
Loved the location and the rooms as well as the overall ambience of the hotel. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Internet service in the room did not work
they didn't charge me for the internet
Hotel Alponso XIII is an amazing Hotel, very nice staf, excelent location in the center of sevilla. The room in which i stayd (grand deluxe) is great, very spacious en luxury. To pay euro 50,- for a simple breakfast is a bid much for what you get.
The standard of service, location and general facilities were fantastic Sometimes they did not do an evening bed turn down
Good location and very nice old hotel. The man in the reception wondered if I can bring may bags to the room by my self. No problem, but for a 5 stars hotel this is not a question.
excellent service, beautifull hotel everything was perfect! very diffficult to find when you drive into Sevilla as there is a one way system, and very poor indications!
The Alfonso X111 is in a fantastic location right in the real heart of Seville. Other than the high cost, the Hotel was faultless, quiet, comfortable, good service etc. The decoration and history make it unique. The high cost per night means for a special occasion its fantastic but for seeing Seville there are better value hotels avaliable. Money no object - stay at the Alfonso X111
The ambience of the hotel overall and the quality of the staff. Road noise in the room and slightly ineffective aircon.
design, facilities smell
Hotel valet vaused significant damage to car while parking it and did not tell us
location is great, great roof terrace the room with the shower and the toilet inside smelled a lot. no flexibility from hotel staff to change rooms. highlight was that I need to depart 2 days earlier than planned and they refused to pay back the money...although I had to stay in a room with less comfort and that smell. very unpleasant manager too. poor poor behaviour!
I liked the location because it was right where the action was. It was old but it was not nicely renovated. The rooms especially the floors appeared untidy and unclean, the old pipes were showing. . Overall, the atmosphere gave me an icky feeling. The walls were very thin, you could here shouting outside till the wee hours of the morning and you can here the very minute noise from the other guests inside the hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable andthe pillows were a joke, very thin overused and flat.
An exceptional hotel: staff, rooms, pool, location, bar. Everything. You can't go wrong with this place.
location was excellent right beside everything so need for taxis. Views from roof terrace spectacular. Rooms very small and lacking wardrobe space. Bit of a smell of drains in rooms too. Drinks very expensive in hotel bars. Breakfast nice but repetitive.
Location fantastic - we paid extra for superior rooms with views which was worth while. Rooftop area with pool and view was great. Breakfast very good Service was sometimes very slow. It took nearly two hours for the staff to retrieve our car one morning which was incredibly frustrating as we had planned a trip out of Seville. Bar service was also slow and often the orders were forgotten completely
Excellent location and trendy hotel. Perfect both on convenience, and services. Nice terrazzo bar
best location possible wiew on internal patio
very central, lovely hotel, staff a little too formal on arrival - but that is a bit petty because they were lovely.
the hotel design
It has an excellent location near the cathedral and close to most activities and sightseeing. internet and a lap top were available in the room FOC. Staff were helpful and talk a very good English. We had a reservation for a triple room which turned to be same as the Family room (equipped with one twin bed and two deck beds). the deck bed was not that comfortable for an adult.
Professional, friendly service of staff. No tea/coffee making facilities.
The location of the hotel was fantastic - very central but on a quiet side street. The family room with the bunk beds was a big hit with the children. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I expected some level of room service at a 4-star hotel, but there was none.
A computer for our personal use in our room.
The location and the laptop with wifi in the bedrooms. Bathroom and shower were of a high standard. I felt that we were staying at a hotel below the 4 star level which we were expecting. The room was quite small although adequate and the bed was uncomfortable. We were looking for a superior hotel and were provided with a hotel with basic facilities.
modern rooms, location
The location is excellent for exploring the town centre. I liked the decor of the hotel and our room was very comfortable, not big, but it certainly was big enough for our one night stay. The power shower and a comfortable bed was a big bonus after a night in the town. The hotel description should mention that the parking is very tight and with height restrictions. Otherwise it was very convenient to be able to park at the hotel.
Looked forward to going back after a full day and night in Seville to relax in the comfortable room and bathroom and to having a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. View from the room.
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Really enjoyed every minute of my stay. Very central and very clean. Staff was really nice and helpful. A total service with a smile. I think this would be my hotel for my future visits to Seville.
The hotel is in an excellent location being very close to the cathedral & other attractions. The staff were efficient but not at all friendly.
Location location location. Right next to the cathedral and tower. All the sites are extremely walkable. No parking, do not use your navigation to get there because you will get your car stuck. The police basically helped me get my car out and used walking path ways to get out of there and into a public parking lot. A/C was horrible, and when we went downstairs to the front desk they told us they will check it and when we came back they said it's normal. The room was way too hot for normal
The location is excellent for visiting the Cathedral and Alcazar. The staff is very helpful . The hotel itself is very attractive and the rooms are quite spacious.
position of hotel We requested balconies at time of booking . Told non available only on arrival . First bedroom stank of sewerage so changed room . Second room had 2 singles instead of double and was on street level with bars at the window . The air-con did not work and nor did the mini bar so I had to have the window open all night which was very noisy and smelly as dogs were soiling the street . The next morning we changed room for the second time and it was just about satisfactory even though we still had 2 singles , no balcony and no view .
Situation; Very Helpful staff at desk; reasonably quiet ;International news papers in lounge; No ;
the location is great but everything else was tired and old-fashioned. walls were very thin - perhaps you can't do much with old palazzi
Excellent location!! Nothing.
The location is perfect and not noisy despite being in the centre. I appreciated the free internet and daily newspapers available for guets in the reception area. In-room safes require keys from reception. I would like to see these replaced with the more modern electronic safes that are now widely used by hotels.
Loved the roof top pool, also the location was second to none
very friendly staff and very good location all ok
Location was ideal, bur difficult to find. Hotel room was dirty. Restaurant although pretty was smelly and breakfast was so bad we walked out. Service, or acknowledgement of our presence in the reastaurant was non existent. Valet parking put dents in our car which luckily we were not charged for.
Location. , staff, pool Air conditioning. Very. Minimal. Needs updating.
absolut the newest, surely best located , probable the prettiest hotel in sevilla !
The staff was the best. It was very difficult to find.
I loved the decor of the room and the view was amazing!! The staff was always eager to assist us with anything we needed. The room was pretty small. Not enought storage.
The staff was excellent and quickly responded to any request. Couldn't have asked for a better central location in the heart of things to do. Being brand new they had some kinks to work out but it was definitely the nicest place we stayed in 20 days in Spain. The breakfast buffet was smaller but the food was good and changed daily. The rooms were very tastefully done and inviting!!
The afternoon tea time is very nice. They provide coffee, tea, some fruits, some snacks and soft drinks. Do utilize those snacks since the food are pretty expensive there. The standard room is too small. There is barely space to walk and turn. We have a queen bed and very small room. The room temp. is centrally controlled and is really hot and not way to open the window.
The decor of the hotel is amazing. Great helpful staff especially patricia.
Clean and nice bath. Good staff who can speak English. Good location... Nothing special.
The location is excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and responsive to all our needs. The room is well appointed and comfortable. There are many great restaurants located very close and shopping only a stones through away. The major tourist sites are all right there just outside the front door. I would not recommend driving. Tight little streets and probably tough to find. Not impossible, just tough. The rooms are on the small side.
The location and staff were superb. The hotel was very beautiful. Excellent breakfasts. Very fresh food. Would stay here again. I would like to have control of the temperature of the room. The climate control was set at 23 degrees. I like it a little warmer when I take a shower.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It gave easy access to the old town and the numerous bars/restaurants. Its appearance was chic and it had a unique style. The bar was not always available from 4.30pm and closed early in the evenings which was a shame as the views from the terrace are stunning. It would be better if another bar were located off the main foyer as it would enable guests to socialise at the end of an evening Breakfast price was expensive
The location was faultless. A lovely quiet street but so close to everything you want to see. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic 4 days For the price it would have been nice to have had a few more toiletry items- shower cap, tissues etc.
Quiet, good-sized room Excellent location Friendly reception staff Outside terrace Room very dark
very close to quaint and historic tapas area and cathedral, but not soclose to be bothered by late night life. Room updated and beautiful When we first entered there was a strong scent of candles or perfume, possibly covering up an odor that later dissipated
Ambience was fantastic, the location was 2nd to none. The facilities are superb and it was a very wonderful design(er) hotel, pleasing to the eye and senses. And yes; a view of La Giralda to die for.
Location was on a little alleyway near the Seville cathedral which was very convenient -- and since it was off the main street, the room was also mainly quiet at night. My room itself was a little small but suited me just fine and was quite comfortable and totally clean and updated. The staff were also very friendly and helpful which was greatly appreciated!
The location of the hotel is fantastic, on a quiet street round the corner from the Cathedral. The hotel design is cool and modern and the room is really well equipped and chic and comfortable with a huge bathroom. Helpful friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. The pool didn't seem to be open but then again it was October. Rooms could do with a bit of extra lighting.
Excellent reactivity of the staff
the new hotel has updated and modern design, the location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping and dining. try to avoid the rooms facing the central lobby which noise can be heard clearly.
We are two tall adults too large for two sngle beds pushed together. Had to call the front desk to get the AC turned on. Sometimes it was turned on and other times nothing happened. When it was turned on it was turned off a few hours later prompting another call to the front desk.
really good breakfast with everything you like incl. Spanish sparkling wine and freshly prepared bacon and eggs - despite what other stated Google maps found the hotel and it is quite easy to find (without GPS, only by using a street map)
Great location for a city visit. Raining? Take your car out of the hotel's garage!
Staff friendly and helpful, good clean room. Nice friendly bar on street corner that practically orders breakfast for you (fresh OJ, tostada and coffee < €7 for 2) if you don't want the full hotel breakfast. Occasionally noisy outside overnight
amazingly friendly and helpful staff/proximity to relatives top story room was hot and window opened on very noisy patio for air. No A/C that early in season. Had to use ear plugs to sleep.
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Good value for money The room we had was on the first floor. We had to keep the shutter down for privacy and this made the room quite dark. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the main centre but this was OK since we had good weather.
Hotel has a good location, walking distance or short taxi drive to major attractions in downtown.
Great location, about a 6 or 7 minute brisk walk into the heart of the tourist district. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was "so so"
Good location, nice room, good value for the money (as Sevilla is really expensive)
The perssonel attention. In special Manolo, the bell man, and The Bartender The Air Conditioner is the worst ever experienced
Great hotel! Had a very bid and confortable room, the staff was very kind. Also the location is great, a 10 min, walk to the old town with lots of shops and some restaurants nearby. Fully recommended!!!
It's in a good positions for visiting the town.. the staff very nice and friendly
Good value for money, good location and friendly professional staff
perfect located in near the town centre old fashoned rooms, parkintg is 2 streets away from hotel
Everything. Most enjoyable stay. Hotel difficult to find from the instructions. No
Staff was very courteous and prompt with requests. They were very responible and friendly. Too much noise from surrounding rooms. We could hear everything.
Located within 10-mins walk of the Historic Centre, the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. Rooms comfortable. On a main road but the traffic noise did not really permeate. Parking the car! The garage is in an adjoining building, costs €15 per night and entering & exiting is a nightmare.....unless you have a short wheelbase Smartcar!
Lovely friendly helpful staff - especially the maid None at all
Good location - near Alcazar. Good breakfast. Hotel parking expensive and difficult. Fittings, furniture a bit worn.
The staff were very helpful and the hotel's location is excellent. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and only a short walk to the historic centre of Sevilla. Room quite small, but good bathroom.
Good location and nice staff
Very good location, confortable rooms and pleasant decoration, kindness and effectveness of the staff. Especially the breakfast, quite mediocre(although it was included in the price of the room). I w'd prefer pay for it and have better meal.
Perfect location for easy access to local sights and restaurants. The room was very attractive with the most comfortable bed on our trip! Useful to have free access to internet for all guests. Very noisy from nearby bar and rubbish collection in the night.Stressful searching for the hotel when driving into the area- advice is don't have a car! Once again quite expensive to pay for public car park for 2 nights.
Perfect hotel!! Great and helpful staffs! Clean and cute room !!! Nice patio ! Hard to find their hotel ! I lost 2 times .
It´s position, service. Everything excelent.
Some of the service was great. The room was tiny, also we booked a double but had two single beds pushed together. When we spoke to reception about it we were told that there were no doubles in the whole hotel, however subsequently found out there were. Not good.
Friendliness and competence of staff, items provided in bathroom and room good and renewed each day. Comfortable bed and good food. Instructions & map for finding hotel could have been clearer.
Loved this hotel. Staff was great, friendly, helpful, professional. Great location close to everything. Highly recommend it.
Fantastic service - the front desk staff were helpful - suggestions on things to do as well as lending us an extra electrical adapter. I would love to stay here again! Our room overlooked a street that was a bit noisy. Otherwise perfect.
My friends and I loved this place! Each room is unique and very comfortable. The staff are charming and most helpful. Light breakfasts, Spanish style, are available, followed by substantial lunches and evening repasts. And the location! Deep within narrow streets (we're talking less than 2m wide) with no vehicle access and thus quieter, plenty of restaurants and tapas bars, and close to the fine flamenco shows at Los Gallos. Within walking distance to Cathedral and La Giralda, Plaza de Espana, the fascinating Museo Arqueologico, Parque Maria Luisa, and numerous other wonderful places. No criticism, but just to prepare tourists (particularly American) for some differences that might upset them if they are unaware: The streets in Santa Cruz are mostly winding alley-type affairs, so that your taxi (or rental car) will not be able to drop you off anywhere near the entrance. Bring only luggage with wheels. Always carry a city map. Sevillanos are friendly and helpful, but few speak good enough English to set you straight verbally--but pointing to a map works. Give yourself time to "bungle" your way through--it will let you see delightful streets and shops you might never have encountered otherwise. Relax and enjoy--Sevilla is a jewel beyond compare!
The assistance of the staff was incredibly efficient and everyone was extremely friendly and open to guests enquries and needs. Also the location was perfect--in Santa Cruz bario and close to major transportation.
The staff are efficient and welcoming. The hotel facilities and rooms are plain bur everything works and meet all needs for a comfortable stay. I have stayed several times at the Adriano and have been completely ssatisfied every time. The location is excellent as is the value for money.
Nice, quiet, well-located establishment. Staff had exceptional English skills and helped problem solve travel issues as they arose. Very friendly environment. A bonus was that our room had a small private terrace. Nothing worth mentioning.
the location was good and the cleaning lady was a doll. Besides the cleaning lady the staff was awful. they charged me for an extra night, they were rude, inconsiderate and out of line
I was not expecting too much from a two star hotel...but was overwhelmingly surprised at what a great place the Hotel Adriano was!!!! We stay all over Europe, usually in 2 or 3 star hotels and this beat any 3 star I've stayed in! Beautiful, spacious rooms, sparkling clean bathrooms, great cafe in the lobby....If you have a room facing the street it can be slightly noisy....but I kept the windows open every night and loved it. Plus having been to Seville several times, some hotels in the Santa Cruz district can be hard to find and Hotel Adriano sits right behind the bullring so it was incredibly easy! Great location with a short short walk to the Cathedral and sights....Probably the best " budget" hotel I've ever stayed in Europe!
We got the quiet room originally requested. The hotel did not respond to the remarks made in the original booking about breakfast (which is available on a pay-as-you-go basis in the hotel's cafe) and the only ironing facilities were centralised (i.e. you had to pay for it). I agree with previous reviewers - there was a strong smell of sewage, and thank goodnes we were only there for one night.
NIce Andalucian style of building Near city centre Helpful staff
the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great although difficult to reach by car.The breakfast buffet was really excellent. the room was a little bit small.
The friendly staff and its location - I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again it was not possible to access the jacuzzi or the sun deck unless you had booked a superior room - not that important but it had been advertised
comfortable rooms, nice furnitures, good location and friendly staff
We appreciated the helpful, friendly staff. Loved the location of the hotel, and found the accommodations clean and charming. Didn't like not having the option to turn on and use the air conditioning system, since leaving our window option was difficult with the noisy bar under us!!
Location, it was clean, the staff was excellent, it allowed pets, and had parking ...the jaccuzzi was not working because it was winter...????
Great location. Right in the middle of the Santa Cruz district within walking distance to everything. Sant Cruz area is georgeous. AC was turned off while out and blows right on bed when on. Food at the restaurants in the area was mediocre and over priced.
The night reception person, Salwa went out of her way to help us with a problem concerning clothing left at a previously stayed at hotel. Our room was right on the passage way so it was often noisy but it was close to sites.
I loved it here everything was in easy reach and it was quaint and the rooms were very spacious and spottlesly clean, the freedom to go where we wanted without being to far away. It would of been nice to have an english news channel on the tv
The receptionist that helped us when we arrived was excellent and really welcoming. We got upgraded to a small apartment with a private roof terrace and a view out onto one of the squares of Santa Cruz. The entrance to the apartments was a bit unpleasant.
I loved the location for this hotel, right in the heart of the old city, and next to the Cathedral. The decor was superb, very authentic, and the amount of rooms in the hotel was perfect, making it very cosy indeed. The only thing I disliked about the hotel was the breakfast - it was the same every day - fruit, ham and bread - no cheese. The bread was always the same white for toast and white rolls. I would have liked to have seen more variety, especially in the bread.
The front desk was uniformly very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic for exploring the city. The rooms are bit on the small side. Some tea/coffee-making facilities would have been welcome.
