10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very spacious with excellent facilities, nice coffee and array of biscuits and chocolate also given. Beds were comfortable and good pillows. Lovely bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Great WiFi also. Everything you could possibly need! Both Guido & Maria were lovely and very accommodating and go out of there way to make you feel at home. We were greeted on arrival by there son, who was very helpful and welcoming. Maria cooks an amazing breakfast and more choice than Iv had in many a good hotel.... and much nicer! Car parking facility is perfect and much less hassle than having to find parking in Cambridge. I will definitely stay again when I am in Cambridge during the summer months, wouldn’t even look to stay anywhere else. Thank you both very much.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A little gem in the middle of Cambridge. Excellent hosts, very welcoming and entertaining
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, Guido and Maria are the best hosts we have come across and nothing was too much (we didnt have too much to ask- they go hand in hand). The breakfast was excellent and the room was kept to a very high standard. The location was a 15 minute (ish) walk into the city centre which was perfect after a big breakfast/walking back after a big dinner.
Cons: For me, the bed left me with a sore back in the morning but that is usual for a different mattress. A couple of the pillows were in need of replacing too. The shower was immaculate up until the shower head, which was loose and just seemed out of place. These are all minor, minor details and shouldn't be examined too closely.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Worth House is like a Tardis, much bigger on the inside. We did not expect this. ;-)
Cons: All OK

Cons: No bath.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Emma and Duncan are very friendly and make you feel at home. They are warm and kind people. Will recommend this place to anyone
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The common room was friendly, the food amazing, the rooms where clean and comfortable, towels changed daily, and beds turned down daily. The greatest proof of the friendly staff came from a couple who where going to the same wedding as us. Their plane was delayed, and so they got in in the middle of the night. Instead of making this a negative thing, they owner/manager was concerned that they shouldnt have to get up early for breakfast (served til 9 on the weekends) and asked them if they wanted some sandwiches made for them to pick up when they woke up. This customer service seemed to run lik the lifeblood of this B&B. Great value and great service.
Cons: The only thing that would have made the stay better, would have been if the bed was 10 cm broader. But I'm a big guy, so I cant fault them for that.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast great, owners lovely people
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Emma and family were so lovely and very welcoming. A great breakfast in the morning too! Nothing was too much trouble; would 100% stay again :)

Breakfast was amazing too, Duncan cooked us a full English which was delicious, but if you wan't anything else, they have it all. If we go back, we will definitely return to Emma and Duncan. :)

Pros: Very friendly relaxed hotel with modern sophisticated decor. Central location opposite Parker’s Piece. Very comfortable rooms and beds . Pillow menu offered. Friendly and attentive staff.
Cons: We stayed on Saturday which was very busy and our room was quite noisy. We decided to have breakfast away from the hotel as it was so busy and we were advised to come early if we wishes to have breakfast.

Pros: Good location and generally good quality and staff
Cons: No parking available. Pretty average breakfast tbh
9.0 Excellent
Pros: room was much bigger than expected. great location. staff friendly and helpful. recently refurbished. Nice and clean. hotel with free parking! nice wellness centre next door and exactly a bit of luxury we were after.
Cons: had a turndown service whilst we were out to dinner but would have been great to have a refresh of tea service (had had tea and coffee and had run out of cups). Had a fancy coffee machine but couldn't find instructions but finally worked out how to use so instructions to hand would have been great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were all very friendly and the room was excellent, earned excellent reviews from us as no complaints at all
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything 4th time my daughter has stayed at this hotel and it never disappoints. Fantastic
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good position, lovely room and excellent staff. We even got taken for a free tour of Cambridge in a vintage Bentley!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't partake in breakfast at the hotel as thought too expensive for what we would require so can make no comment. However, we did eat in the restaurant on our second night and it was delicious and reasonably priced. A special mention must go to the friendly Bartender Joel, who always served us with courtesy and a smile. Our room in the annex was lovely, spacious and quiet.
Cons: The cleaning of the rooms could have taken place a bit sooner than 1.30pm. Due to the unfortunate weather conditions we had got extremely wet & cold whilst walking and viewing the lovely city and needed a change of clothes but found room hadn't been cleaned so had to leave it a bit later before returning to hotel to shower and change.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very good front of house staff and food very good.
Cons: Breakfast staff some a bit slow and didn't listen to your order. Car park at £17 a night a rip off. Hotel floor we were on was undergoing alterations and decorating.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Character and decor, made so welcome, food and service outstanding. I would recommend to friends and family.
Cons: My only criticism is that the Spa adjacent to the hotel states hotel guests are welcome to use facilities but fails to state for an additional charge of £ 70, I had paid for a treatment too but a charge is still applicable of £50 so not greatly reduced I feel this is very misleading and should be clearly stated on the hotel details.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent evening meal with a good selection. Cosy environment, with friendly and efficient service. Lovely room over, poking a very well kept garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable bed. Amazing tea/coffee facilities in the room. Absolutely fantastic spa.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming, clean, can walk into Newmarket, gym was good
Cons: The sauna and steam room were very crowded
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Bedford Lodge was a lovely place to stay, the bed and room were comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The hotel has lovely grounds and nice fitness facilities. While there, I took advantage of the pool (unfortunately, the hot tub and sauna were undergoing renovation, but should be completed soon). I usually live out of my suitcase when I travel, but the room was clean enough that I felt comfortable placing clothes in the drawers, where, unfortunately, I left some of them. When I discovered this and called the hotel, they very promptly packed the left items and sent them off to me at my follow-on hotel, keeping me informed of the progress. It is easy to get to Cambridge from there and, if in the area, I would be happy to stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable stay.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very pleasant stay for 1 night. We were offered a tour of the hotel by the manager on arrival complete with history. Centrally located, nice bar. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast in the dining room. They were busy in the evening and there were some errors in our dessert order but we weren’t charged for those which was appreciated.
Cons: My wife would have liked to be able to turn the a/c down below the min 19 as she was too warm. We enquired about the possibility of thinner duvets for next time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds and pillows. Luxurious bathroom.
Cons: Very busy in bar at night. Took a long time to get served. Back of bar area unappealing with lots of unwashed glasses, took a long time to get order in so I really noticed this.
7.5 Good

Cons: Can’t think of anything
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was okay but very busy and staff struggled to keep up with demand. The location is superb and the hotel is very smart and clean with huge rooms.
Cons: Hotel reservations which seems to be based somewhere in India is worst than useless. I recommend contacting the hotel direct.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, suite size and view, cleanliness, polite and helpful staff.
Cons: Can’t say anything I did not like except few recommendations... reception area though small can have couple of sofa chairs, in-house tv can have more channels specific to movies and news other than BBC only and high tea time should be exclusive to the bar sitting area and not in the library.
7.0 Good
Pros: Amazing food at Parker’s Tavern, lovely smell around the hotel, great service and good drinks too!
Cons: Room was noisy - creaking floor boards, could hear people in other rooms, really bad sleep as felt like there was someone in the room is was so noisy! Such as a shame as it was our only night away from the kids and we wanted some good sleep!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Style
Cons: Bed too hard
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice staff, clean hotel
Cons: Mattresses are hard, our luggage was taken to our room but our hanging wardrobe was left folded on a bench (I had ironed prior to our journey)

6.5 Good
Pros: I was held up for three hours in Customs at Heathrow and advised staff that I would not make the first night of a four night stay. They were not helpful in assisting me in finding another Hilton. I specifically was told by the clerk on check out that I would not be charged for the missed night, but discovered that indeed I have been charged and I am writing sepaerately for a refund. Staff in the bar treated me like a vagrant beaucse my room was not ready and I only had casual clothes. It was only when I put my expensive suit on that I received decent service.

Cons: The sauna and steam room were very crowded

Pros: Reasonable price. Hot water good. Parking good. Location good 5 minutes walk from the High street. Wifi good

Pros: Very good breakfasts and Sunday Lunch. Staff were very friendly and professional. I have stayed there before and intend to visit again in the future.
Cons: The weather! Storm Ciara struck that weekend which meant I had to delay my return journey home-although that was no real hardship.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: What a pleasant surprise! I stay at a lot of Best Western Hotels and this must be an exception to the norm. The hotel is lovely, tucked away just off the main road in Newmarket. The welcome was fantastic from Katrina, I had an excellent meal in a very smart looking bar/restaurant and real vegetables, not just something that vaguely resembled 'green'. Although my room was slightly small and warm due to it's location, I had what appeared to be a newly refurbished bathroom and the bed, unlike other Best Western Hotels I have stayed in, was COMFORTABLE! The room also had a small desk with a PROPER office style chair which could be adjusted to my height so I didn't end up triggering the RSI in my neck!
Cons: The only slight disappointment was that the pillows have not received an upgrade - but it didn't affect me, as being a seasoned traveller, I carry my own pillow with me just in case it is required... Also, just for travellers who don't know Best Western Hotels, they don't have gym facilities.
