Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean. Loved the secret garden as did our pups but it was easy to walk around the property. Nice amenities like pool and putting green. The hotel is located in the middle of the main street with restaurants and stores just steps away. My only complaint was no microwave in our room. Pros (+) Decent breakfast options. Nice pool area
Cons (-) It's centrally located in Solvang's main road, but that also makes it a bit noisy at night/early in the morning. Bathrooms were clean but outdated

Pros (+) Awesome value! Large, clean, no-nonsense room with two queens. Came to Solvang for the ambience of the village, rather than the ambience of the hotel. So, we were seeking comfortable sleeping accommodations for two adults and two teens at the best price. RCI delivered. The complementary breakfast buffet was the icing on the cake. Attentive staff and unbeatable location.
