10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely character hotel in an excellent location, very clean, wonderful friendly staff and great food and drink
7.9 Good
Pros: The night we stayed the weather was horrendous. Unfortunately the wind was blowing through one of the top windows . This kept us awake . We tried putting the tv on but the wind was interfering with the signal so there wasn’t much hope of watching anything. Over all nice place to stay . The hotel compensated us with free breakfast which was a nice gesture. Location is fab literally everything is in walking distance
Cons: Location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: bedroom was amazing great location love rustic feel
Cons: no handsoap!! service in the restaurant dinner time wasn't great
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Very warm atmosphere, cosy environment
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities in the room and bathroom. Polite staff. Good restaurant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Conway is a small village anchored to the water by a huge castle (King Edward I, 1272) with walls extending all the way around the village. The Castle Hotel is in the center of the village and it is the perfect location to walk the town and learn some of the haunting stories from the past. The hotel has had many sitings as has the Castle and the Plas Mawr , a Tudor Renaissance house from the 16th century. The Castle Hotel also has the best food in town. Sitting by the fire in the pub and downing a pint or two is heaven. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities of the hotel and room, coffee shop, bar and restaurant. Prices were very reasonsble and the food was excellent.
Cons: Our room was at the front of the hotel which was quite noisy due to the hotel being on the footpath and the old wooden (rotten) windows. The bed was a metal bedstead which squeaked everytime we moved. You need to be aware of this if you are going away hoping for some intimacy.

Pros: We were made to feel very welcome, staff chatty and informative. We were very comfortable and warm.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating.friendly staff ,excellent food except when there is a stand in chef. Rooms are lovely and beds are very comfortable and large.view is amazing.
Cons: The breakfast was very small (17 beans half a piece of black pudding.)and not as nice on the first morning but each day after it was fine.this apparently was due to a stand in chef on our first day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the Hotel the breakfast the diner the room and most of all the staff great loved it.
Cons: not a lot.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Groes inn was a fabulous find, it’s charm, atmosphere, good grub and friendly staff made our weekend after the original hotel we were to stay in closed down. Breakfast was up there with one of the best I’ve had, Evening meals were a little pricey but we were ok with this as the quality justified it. Great location to get around the national park, We will be returning to the Groes Inn again.
Cons: The open fires. Sitting in front of them, with a drink whilst being cold outside prevented me from being more active!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was warm, comfortable and spacious. Dinner was excellent and service was faultless. [We did not have breakfast but coffee, tea and biscuits were included in the room facilities]
Cons: Not applicable

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with great views
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved staying here. Totally chilled and away from everything. Loved the gym sauna and pool. Showers were great. Stayed hot. Also loved we had a family room for our children, breakfast was great to. Hosts were the best.
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t stay longer. Fabulous place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice traditional home
Cons: Certain areas seemed a little tied, in need of freshening up.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff , lovely couple managing the house , clean, soft towels, nice bedding, well dressed beds, public areas are comfortable. Swimming pool, staff doing their best.
Cons: Very very uncomfortable bed, long past it’s sell by date. Springs pushing throw, sagging and hard. No welcome firer, .we stayed in the studio room, my son’s bed was an old single chair bed Settee. Mattress was about 5 cm deep. The room cost £150 per night, B and B. In addition we had dinner. Given the isolated spot I did not want to try and find an alternative. The evening meal was nice but very expensive. There is no price on the menu , and although we skied twice we were not given a price .so given the location I decided we would have to have the meal and worry about the cost in the morning, big mistake. . We paid £72 for a coke, 1 cider , 1 starter , 2 mains and 1 pudding. There is a pool , which is nice but could do with some attention, the sauna was not on but we were told it could be turned on for the next morning. It be fair the next morning the manager said that if we had said about the beds they would have moved us, also he did not charge for the dogs. Usually there is a charge of £20 per dog. When I told my husband what we had paid for no sleep and a fairly average meal he was surprised and said it was too much. We were the only people in the hotel on a Saturday night. It’s a shame for the couple who are doing their best. I feel that if the price was more reasonable this would have been ok, I booked the hotel to knowing it was £150 per night because I thought we were getting a 4 star experience this was not a 4 star experience I am afraid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent - we opted to eat there twice in the evening as the meal on our first night really was delicious across every course. The table service was impeccable. An open fire, gin and tonic served at the poolside, comfy beds and a hearty breakfast, what's not to like?
Cons: Everything was spot on
9.0 Excellent
Pros: E everything very good
Cons: Ventilation in bathroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, restaurant and quality of food and service. Room was pleasant and quiet.
Cons: Tiled area around the pool is in need of repair as great slate is breaking up. Bed not very comfortable for me though my wife slept well.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super friendly, we enjoyed the shared dining space with lovely views, and it was very clean! The walk from town is quick (if a tad steep!), definitely a good spot to explore the area!
Cons: Not a real issue, but the long driveway from the road is very dark at night to walk up so it would be great if there were some solar lights or something :)
7.9 Good
Pros: The location and views were amazing. Most Staff were friendly and helpful . Volunteers were super friendly.
Cons: There was a funny smell in the room, kind of like a damp fishy smell.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy throughout. Nice atmosphere. Great breakfast. Location excellent for 5 minute walk to Conwy town castle walls.
Cons: I would have liked another pillow, rather than the standard single one supplied. The venue is undergoing slow modernisation, and could do with a modicum of investment to finish the job.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really friendly and the beds were so comfy
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent, couldn't have helped more.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The price was pretty good compared to what else was available in Conwy for the dates that we were travelling. For that price the property was pretty well maintained and the room was comfortable. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was decently priced. We could leave our luggage in the store room on our last day and go around the town.
Cons: The hotel is not too far but up the hill from Conwy station. Hence with a pram it can be a bit strenous walk to get to the hotel.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. Excellent location in the town. On site parking. The price was very reasonable.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: absolutely nothing. a toilet of a hotel.
Cons: nothing worked, door wouldn't open and our stuff was in the room, the shower didn't work, the the tv didn't work, lights looked dangerous and only half of them worked. the room was accessed by the back door of the hotel and by crossing the one car carpark, past the rubbish bins and mating cats, then up the narrow stairs. breakfast is a joke here, they glared at us thro ughout our meal, which was a terrible version of full English served on a tiny pocket sized plate. poorly cooked and almost thrown at you, the waiter couldn't get rid of us quick enough, the toast was mouldy and the tea terrible . we approached the surly looking management to complain but as my romanian is a little rusty we struggled. she seemed to not really care that.nothing worked.and the food was mouldy, blaming the previous guests for.breaking everything . AVOID THIS PLACE ! Without doubt, the worst run hotel i have ever stayed at. will never return here even if it was demolished

Pros: Food/staff.
Cons: Room v. disappointing
6.0 Good
Pros: Location great. Breakfast OK.
Cons: Check in was very rushed. When you first arrive after a journey, you feel a bit disorientated and it helps if the receptionist slows down and takes time to explain things. The room was smaller than I expected. It was difficult to brush your teeth in the sink in the bathroom - trying to swill your mouth with water and spit it out into the sink was next to impossible due to the small gap between the sink and the shelf above it.

Pros: Great place only 5 minutes walk from the train station and Venue Cymru and just round the corner from the seafront. We were welcomed with a handshake as soon as we arrived and were allowed into our room at 10.30 instead of 2.00pm. As it was my birthday I was given a complimentary drink at the bar in the evening. When we left this morning again with a handshake and a friendly goodbye. Definitely going back.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good the breakfast was good and the staff we met were very good. The room was just as we expected, if you are expecting 5 star luxury it is not for you but if you want a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price then the Broadway is just that. The manager/boss was very welcoming and also thanked us for staying as we were leaving, he was a pretty good barman as well. as we were only there for 1 night it really served its purpose, we enjoyed it.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like, older hotels always have drawbacks with décor but for 1 night who cares, it was warm and cosy, we would definitely stay again.

Pros: Nice location. Good bathroom good breakfast
9.0 Excellent
