Dongmen Hotel

Hans and the other staff were very glad to help out bringing our luggage up, down and in and out of the hotel, though, even when it seemed the luggage weighed a ton. My friend and I stayed in the double room on the 3nd floor with a direct view unto the street, and we were quite charmed with our room. The weather was great while we were there, so we rarely used the AC. We did open our windows to get the most out of the cold climate. The telly in our room was high def. We loved catching up on movies at night. The location is the best, just a stone's throw away from Dongmen Station, a 5 minute walk to both Yongkang Street and Liberty Square, and near Dongmen market.

It wasn't a dealbreaker for me reserving, obviously, but the lack of an elevator was quite felt by the elderly in our group. Housekeeping did not wash our used glasses and cups, but there was no dishwashing liquid or non-bar soap for us to be able to really wash our used glasses/cups ourselves. I would return in the evenings to see my cup still holding the dregs of the morning coffee.
