Pros: Great location and staff. Adam ran a great bar and really took care of us. The Courtyard was a very nice touch for morning coffee and evening drinks.
Pros: Excellent reception at desk service. Very good english skills for desk service people. I asked for extra coat hangers -got them within 15 minutes. Wake up calls were spot on time wise. WiFi is free. Good signal strength. Hotel is on a quiet dead end side street from a street with a trolley so it is quiet. Superb free breakfast comes with the room. Hotel dining room is a bit better than average. Had really great roasted duck on my wife's birthday. Hotel is built around an inner courtyard. Pleasant place to chat on lounge chairs and sip beer or iced tea. Little kid friendly. Heard lots of quiet toddler chatter. Lots of small shops within two blocks to buy beer, wine, pastries high end deli-like pastries and sandwiches. Easy 10-15 minute walk to center city Krakow. Easy to get a taxi at the hotel. Lots of cafe like small restaurants of different cuisines within four blocks.
Cons: Hotel locale is not super up scale. Lenin free hostel around the corner, sex shop a block away. My wife and I both in the low 70's had no issues walking around in day time. Lots of working class people, youngsters, moms with infants, elderly on the streets in the day. We did not go out at night although our 44 year old son and friends were out bar visiting until very late and felt quite safe.
I think the location is the reason why the Metropolitan is such a good value. If the location were in city central Krakow district the room costs would be much higher. It is a really great hotel value in an acceptable but not particularly upscale area..We would stay there again.
Metropolitan Boutique Hotel offers an airport shuttle (available on request) and puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Old Synagogue and Galicia Jewish Museum. The restaurant is the perfect spot for a bite to eat, and after visiting the fitness center for a workout, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer LED TVs, minibars, and room service.
Pros: Great location close to attractions. Staff speaks English. Good breakfast buffet. Overall great stay.
Cons: Too costly
Pros: We stayed one night in March. We got in several hours before check in time. Not one restaurant in the area was open for breakfast so we decided to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious I would recommend getting it with the room if possible. Since we were desperate to get some sleep we decided to upgrade to a superior room with did not cost very much and we go in right there and then. The room was a good size and very clean. In at the afternoon we got 3 cakes delivered and there was free water in the room. The area is wonderful, right next to a big shopping mall and the translation. Also, walking to anywhere in main Krakow from the hotel is a breeze.
Cons: The mattress was horrible ! I have never seen or slept on such a thing. Weird choice by the hotel to put that in the rooms. TV did not work but we also did not call to fix it.
Pros: Andels is a beautiful, newer hotel in a great location near the train and bus stations, big shopping mall, the Planty, and old town – including a pedestrian tunnel to get there! Free internet, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and quiet even though on a main street.
This contemporary hotel is centrally located near Krakow Barbican. It is 100 metres from the market square, shopping centre, and main railway station.
Hotel Senacki offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Wawel Castle and Main Market Square, plus an airport shuttle is available for PLN 90-110 per vehicle one way. After visiting the fitness center for a workout, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer LCD TVs, minibars, and room service.
Pros: The corner room is great. The room size is decent-to-big. The TV is the biggest we've had in a hotel room within Europe. The bathroom floor has the option to be heated and the bathroom liquid soap and shampoo are from Azzarro (sp?). They smelled so very good!!! The hotel provides a delicious, full breakfast with two free coffee/cocoa/cappuccino makers for guests and are available 24 hours a day. The bar is open 24 hours a day but the hotel's front-desk employees will need to clear their area to tend bar. The hotel is literally across the street from the Krakow Glowny (main train station). The wifi signal was good/strong as the signal never went away. All-in-all a great place to stay and I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Krakow. I'll stay at other Puro hotels in Poland, given the opportunity.
Cons: Only issue is with the lack of early check-in. It was bad timing that they had been sold out the day before our scheduled check-in date. We caught an early train and arrived at the hotel at 7am on our check-in date. Unfortunately, because check-in time is 3pm and the hotel had been fully booked the night before, there weren't any available rooms as check-out time is noon. We needed to shower before our 11:30am tour pick-up but our room wasn't ready until 12:45pm and we were already in our tour. The front desk lady tried to help but it was out of her control.
Pros: Very modern, good location, good customer service
Cons: From time to time device for room control had to be restarted. Internet, in the room we stood, was slow.
Located in City Centre, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of St. Florian's Church, Krakow Barbican, and Florian's Gate. Main Market Square and Czartoryski Museum are also within 15 minutes.
Pros: Other than the unfortunate road work outside the place was very good and comfortable and in a perfect location.
Aparthotel Stare Miasto offers an airport shuttle (available on request) and puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Main Market Square and Cloth Hall. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Illuminati, one of 2 restaurants, which serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Apartments at this upscale property feature conveniences like kitchenettes, along with LED TVs and designer toiletries.
Cons: Then I left some laundry in my room in a black bag and they stole it! Crazy. I ream really nice taylored suits and shirts were just taken from my room. I was very upset. They denied taking anything, but know exactly what I packed and exactly where I put my things.
So I left and am never coming back.
Putting you within a 10-minute drive of Main Market Square and Wawel Castle, Hotel Stary features a rooftop terrace and offers an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for PLN 110 per vehicle. You can indulge in deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or reflexology, and TRZY RYBKI, one of 2 restaurants, serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's an indoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this luxurious hotel get the details right with deep soaking tubs and bathrobes.
Cons: Away from city center, but easy accessible by car or taxi

Pros: Great location, walking distance to most everything you'd want to see. Stellar service! Good food. Great comfortable room and great shower! Super happy with this hotel. Loved the regal vibe.
Cons: Reach of wireless signal was at my room. Room was at the end of corridor, that is why. But it is simple thing as wireless repeater for comfortable internet access. Connection was bad all the time, and with that speed as well. Going out of room to get a better connection is stupid. So, if that would be fine, I would give 5 stars, with lack of internet only 3.
Francuski Hotel offers an airport shuttle and a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Czartoryski Museum and Florian's Gate. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Gessler we Francuskim, which serves Polish cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pros: Staff was friendly, good food and all around a nice place to stay.
Cons: Nothing really that stands out.
Pros: We stayed at the Hotel Kossak at the conclusion of a 19 day tour of Poland. We used Kayak and Trip Advisor to research location, price, etc. and we were extremely pleased with our choice. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip, Hotel Kossak was the best! The people at reception were excellent.... especially Monica. The beds had thick, comfortable mattresses and perfectly fluffy pillows. The air conditioning kept the room as cold as we desired. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was delicious.... Not too strong. The in room teapot was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Initially, we ate everything in sight, but eventually we were very grateful for the Greek yogurt option! The rooftop was magnificent and the food up there was spectacular.... It was like a piece of artwork... We almost didn't want to eat it.... Just kept taking pictures of it! Delicious as well! Kudos to the chef! The location across from the river and the castle was perfect to walk to both Old Town and to Kazimierz. We also took a boat ride down the river with the discount coupon we received from Monica. The general store, Jubilat, was only two doors away.... Very convenient for snacks, batteries, alcohol, etc. Next time, we won't pack toiletries.... Easier to buy them at this store. The bus and tram stops were conveniently located a few feet from the hotel. Poland turned out to be a hidden gem, and the Hotel Kossak gave it sparkle! Thanks for a most comfortable and memorable experience! We will be back!

Cons: AC does not cool. Breakfast is very expensive. The staff at breakfast are not catering i asked for eggs n pancakes and i only got eggs w bakon which i didn't order. I served myself cereal but there were no spoons to eat it with.
Pros: excellent restaurant
Pros: It was only a half block from the Wawell Royal castle. It is in an incredible old building refer bish ed in the most elegant furnishings. My room had an exposed beam celing. The bed was antique with wooden head board, side rails and foot bosrd.
The breakfast service was particularly nice.
Cons: I would have like to have stayed longer.

Pros: Excellent hotel from top to bottom, I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Krakow. Great location, just outside the old-town ring. Easy walk to many areas and attractions. Supermarket just down the street, too. Wonderful staff as well.
Cons: I was disappointed that the in-room wifi was not free, but sadly, that seems to be more and more common.

Pros: The hotel is located in the city center, so getting around for sightseeing was all done by foot or the occasional tram. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a very spacious low level room with two beds. Overall, very satisfied!
Cons: Stayed on the 1st floor and for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend, which also happened to be the same weekend as Advent (Catholic start of Christmas season). The halls were a bit loud, but mainly from the noise of people walking up and down. There were a couple of parties at the hotel but they all finished at a reasonable time.
Pros: Staff very accomodating . Need to stay in updated room

Pros: Good location, right next to train station and close to heart of the city. Clean room, well working air conditioner.
Cons: Right next to a train stop. My room would rumble and vibrate every time a train came by, every 5-10 minutes?
Pros: This place was nice. Good value.
Pros: Lovely staff! Great location! Very good value for the money!

Pros: The property was much bigger and offered much more than expected. They even have a sightseeing tour bus of Kraków, a spa, a salon, and 2 restaurants. The decor is to a high standard and the lobby presents like a pricier boutique hotel.
This hotel is CLEAN! Not only was the room spotless, but every public area was totally clean and neat too. Even the children's play area!
The pool was clean and the water was heated to the perfect temperature. The jacuzzi was awesome! Changing rooms, showers and lockers were also available. A receptionist was on hand to provide towels too.
The included breakfast was served in a HUGE, beautifully decorated dining hall complete with tablecloths and place settings. The breakfast options were what you'd expect of a restaurant with many options. Fresh juicy fruits, eggs, bacon, pancakes, several different meats, lots of different salads and breads. This was far more and far better than a basic continental breakfast. And it was all delicious!
We had an issue with our room lights and someone came within 5 minutes and fixed it. The staff was friendly and polite, as could be expected at a 5-star property in New York or London. The room was comfortable and well decorated with a great view of the river.
Cons: Major negative - no iron in the room! Guests are required to give the clothes to the staff for ironing service, and the up charge is steep. It cost around €20 for a business suit. I really did not like that and it was the very first time I have ever seen a hotel not provide the option to just get an iron and press your own clothes. It takes a few hours so I was lucky to call early.
It was rather easy to hear people in rooms next door, especially when they spoke loud. Also, there were travelers with kids and those jerks had the kids running around and jumping up and down until maybe midnight, which could also be heard in the room. The sound proofing could be better.
However, I would absolutely stay at this property again and recommend it to friends and family! They seem to have brisk business especially with international tourists and they deserve it!!
Pros: For anyone who likes to explore on foot.. River walk , within 10 mins of old Jewish Quarter , Kasimiertz, Schindler factory museum is direclty across river.
Nice direct walk to town centre and castle.
Spa facility is good. Staff very helpful
Breakfast staff excellent , working a busy area offering plenty of variety of food / drink.
Cons: New build concrete construction therefore inevitable sound proofing issues.. I had someone pacing floor in room above in the early hours..
I suggest if you are a light sleeper, carry a set of ear plugs..
I sleep deeply so didn't bother me that much but you will hear people entering the rooms either side of you and toilets flushing.
LIGHT SLEEPERS : EAR PLUGS
