Pros: Luxury hotel with very nice staff. All the staff there are very nice and with good attitude. Room is spacious, neat and tidy. ~5mins walk to the metro station. Taking Uber to attractions aren't far away as well. Special thanks to Olivia, Guest Relations Manager, she helped to make a very memorable celebration. Will definitely consider it if heading back to Taipei again.
Cons: My room was next to the elevators, some weird noise was made all the time, not so loud tho. The exterior is a bit old, I was a bit deterred due to this reason before booking.

Pros: This is a large boutique hotel, so you either love it or hate it. I loved it. It does have a dark look, but the quality of the interior is terrific. The detail in the room, everything from the desk to the venting of the air-conditioning is very well done.
Cons: If you like to walk around, it's a little far from major attractions. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a cab for me anytime I needed it.

Pros: Very contemporary once you got there.
Cons: You know I booked it not knowing the city. It was between the Amba and Puri. Taipei is not the easiest of places to navigate. And the google maps that link in with the bookings are rubbish. They seem to conveniently erase metro stations and prominent buildings of note. So when you are looking at hard copies of maps AND. The google maps you are completely thrown. It doesn’t help that reception is at 5 th floor the hotel being above a fairly non descript shopping mall. I wastedover an hour trudging the streets trying to find it and even afterwards when I went back was having difficulty getting my bearings and, you know, I am usually spot on with maps and directions.

Pros: Right in the middle of Ximending. This place is a good location for eating, shopping and there's taxi and the MRT is readily accessible. Staff is friendly and helpful who will go extra mile for you. I really love this place and will definitely stay here again!

Pros: The availability of variety for food and drinks in the same building were great when we were too tired to come up with somewhere to go for food. Location was awesome for shopping and some of the the big sites. Very close to the metro, but cabs are so inexpensive and accessible that we were able to get those to head to destinations too far to walk.
Cons: We were bummed that the mineral pools were not open during our January stay. There was no advance warning on their website about it being seasonal or under construction.

Pros: We were in a room with 2 twin beds. It was adequate for our 2 night stay near good shopping and proximity to the subway. My only objection is that when you take a shower the water flows onto the floor, getting the bath mat soaking wet. The water drains across the bathroom to a drain in the corner.

Cons: There is no separate room to keep customer's luggage. The hotel required customer to check out before 12 pm. They kept our luggages on a corner of lobby after we checked out. I thought that it was not safe to put the customer's luggages on a public place.

Pros: Good location to all the MAT station. A lot of restaurants are around.
Cons: Equipment is old. No phone on the desk, but next to the bed. After shower, water is all over the floor - door of the bath tub cannot close. Not enough chairs for people to seat after check out - we ended up to pay $5 per person to have an exclusive room, but was so noisy due to the construction work was on going. They distributed newspaper to certain rooms, not to everyone. No enough light in the room One of the double bed is so close to the wall. Very difficult for the 2nd guest to get off the bed.

Pros: Located at a strategic location. Within walking distance from Taipei Main Station and Ximeb MRT station. Surrounded by many restaurant, fast food and of course bubble tea kiosk.
Cons: The room we stayed 986 is large and comfortable by Taipei’s standard. We paid for a luxury room but the view is blocked by the surrounding wall (it is surrounded by the maintenance balcony). And also it is not quite privacy as the maintenance worker might pass by the balcony unnoticed.

Pros: Very Clean Rooms are descent size compared to others in the area Coffee Machines in the lobby Great room to just sleep in and get out and explore. Definitely not a room you want to be cooped up in all day.
