Pros: The bed was really comfy. Nice kitchen/ lounge area. The hostel is located right in the shopping/ restaurant area, but it was still quiet at night. Free towels. Pros: Overall quite satisfying with the room. Good breakfast with choices of Japanese and western. Club lounge service was a plus!
Cons: No onsen!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is just fabulous. I booked a double room with access to the lounge included. This was one of the best hotel stays I have had simply because of the lounge. Here's how it works--breakfast is included in the price of the room, it's from 7 am to 10 am I believe. You can choose from a western-style or Japanese-style breakfast. We opted for the latter every moring and it was a delicious assortment of rice, miso soup, fish, pickled veggies, simmered veggies, sweet beans. Then from 4 pm to 6 pm, they have desserts and non-alcoholic drinks like tea, coffee/latte/cappuccino/juice. From 6 pm to 8 pm is cocktails and snacks, and then from 8 pm to 10 pm is another two hours of drinks and snacks! And it's pretty tastefully done. Snacks and drinks include cold cuts of meat, lox, vegetables, beer on tap, spirits, and red/white/sparkling wine. Next, the place was immaculate. Our room wasn't big, but elegantly and efficiently designed to make good use of the space. The hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from the Kotoden Kawaramachi train stop, which is two short stops away from Takamatsu station. Around the hotel is a huge shopping plaza and restaurant strip. The hotel staff gave us info for certain areas we wanted to visit, they confirmed travel options and times for us and even gave us a printout of info about Naoshima. They also stored our bags for us after we checked out so that we could continue to sightsee on our last day in Takamatsu.
Cons: Honestly, there wasn't anything that I didn't like about Royal Park Takamatsu, and I can't wait to stay here again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a good command of the English language. The lounge is comfy with a fair selection of drinks and snacks.

Pros: Hotel is very nice and location is super. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a pleasant stay there.
Cons: Nil
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good, shops and restaurants just downstairs. Staffs are helpful and nice.
Cons: Sometimes need to queue up for the elevators.
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked the size of the room -I had a ladies room and the seemingly endless supply of cosmetics. I liked being able to open the window as it is so much more comfortable than being sealed in a room like some other chain hotels. The location was good for shopping but on balance I would prefer to stay by the station and the port.
Cons: I have stayed in other Daiwa Roynet hotels which have had good restaurants on site for example Vietnamese in Nagoya and Kyoto and Italian in Matsuyama. This one didn’t have a restaurant on site but instead a breakfast place just downstairs in the shopping centre which didn’t seem to be open in the evening and had very little variety. The approach to the hotel wasn’t very nice with people using the lift to get to the car park. On check in there was a hair in my basin and in the bath which was off putting and two days later I found a cheap ring under the desk in my room. I forwarded my luggage but no one told me it had arrived.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and facilities - excellent access to shopping and restaurannts
Cons: Nothing

Only one point to note, I asked a person for direction to the hotel, she said that there are 2 APA hotels near the station. So, I request visitors to kindly check which hotel you have booked into.
Cons: The reception is in the 1st floor, and location of the ground floor lift is inside through the parking area.It might be a little troublesome when you have heavy luggages. Else you can take the stairs. There is no onsen in the hotel. So for guests who prefers a relaxing hot bath in the onsen after the days work, please think again.
