Pros: Pure luxury!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff very friendly and accommodating, i received a free upgrade to a room with a canal view which was unexpected and wonderful
Cons: Our free airport transfer to the hotel was difficult. Nobody showed up, waited half an hour and then tried to call the hotel, using my U.S. phone and not knowing how to do it, the call did not go through. I flagged down a security officer and he called the hotel and someone immediately showed up in a very nice vehicle (mercedes benz van) with a suit on etc. and was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautiful boutique hotel, very nice staff (mostly from Greece) they upgraded me to a wonderful room with a canal view, my favorite hotel of our whole trip -- hope to come back someday...also very nice transfers from airport and to cruise ship -- mercedes!
Cons: Not happy that a smoke alarm went off late in the evening, due to a glassed off smoking room in the lobby that obviously was not working properly...had to vacate the building and take the stairs
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic kittle place . Was upgraded to the royal suite which was spacious and beautifully decorated . The breakfast is amazing and the staff were very friendly . The location is amazing a short walk away from everything .
Cons: Nothing

Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back wish we could of stayed longer. The staff are a credit to the company.

The Hoxton, Amsterdam - Amsterdam - Bedroom
2
9.2 Excellent (1,685 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Hoxton, Amsterdam is made up of a series of five canal houses overlooking both the Herengracht and Singel canals. The property has a fascinating history, dating from the early 17th Century, formally a residential town house that was home to the Mayor of Amsterdam. The hotel will consist of 111 rooms and will also house it's very own Apartment, our meeting and event space like no other, restaurant and bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a fun atmosphere! Everyone at the reception desk was a concierge - extremely helpful and had great suggestions for dining and getting around. Perfect location. Loved Lottie's restaurant.
Cons: nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cannot say enough about how great our stay was here! We extended our stay by a day we loved it so much. The prices were very reasonable. They checked us in 2 hrs early with zero hassle. All of the room supplies were included. While not exceedingly spacious, everything about the room and hotel oozed modern style. There was interesting literature on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. In the lobby was a hip restaurant with delicious and affordable faire which we frequented almost every day, and at night became a popular bar until 1 am. There were many other places to eat, shop, or stroll past from the Hoxton's central location, but it was far enough removed from the main tourist areas to feel somewhat local. I would recommend this place to anyone except maybe those traveling with children, as I believe they had to "cheat" to fit us into a single room, and we are smaller than your average humans as it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular experience, I loved the vibe and design of the space. All finishes are high quality and products they give you in the room smell fabulous . Breakfast is also excellent. It’s the small touches like having smooth jazz playing in your room when you walk in, I cannot say more positive things about it.
Cons: Nothing!
4.2 Okay
Cons: My single room was tiny. It was impossible to see the television from the bed. In the evening, the lobby turned into a very crowded and noisy nightlife venue. Because of the crowd, it was difficult to get in and out of the hotel. Would never stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have enjoyed very much my stay at The Hoxton Hotel.  The Hotel and rooms are designed with style and are also highly comfortable. The view from my room was beautiful, overlooking the Herengracht Canal and one historic bridge too. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy every taste. I have also eaten at Lotti's restaurant on the ground floor and the food was excellent. The staff was professional, kind and always available to give me useful advices. Overall I would suggest The Hoxton Hotel to anyone else and I look forward to going back there sometime soon.
Cons: My feedback on The Hoxton Hotel is 100% positive. I had an Excellent stay at the Hoxton Hotel and I don't have anything negative to write about it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Avocado smash was soggy and a little disappointing.
Cons: Food did not live up to rest of experience.
8.8 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional staff, always polite and helpful. Location is great, easy access both to the centre and the airport! Great food and drinks, I would definitely come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning room with great views. The bed was incredibly comfy as were the pillows and duvet. lots of little touches in the room such as a comfy bathrobe and slippers. Wonderful free standing bath, mini fridge (you have to pay for the contents) fancy tea and coffee, BIG tv screen. We literally didn't leave the hotel at all. We ordered a massage which was divine. All the food we had was just superb and dressed up so beautifully, you didn't want to eat it. Stunning view from the sky bar. The hotel focuses a lot of sustainability and grows a lot of produce themselves on their room and what they don't grow, they source locally. I wrote ahead and explained to them the difficult time my friend had in recent months and that I wanted to pamper her and they had lots of little tokens for us that really made the difference. We just wish we had more nights. The breakfast menu is ala carte so you can pick and choose and no food goes to waste.
Cons: The only thing I would say is that the room where we had the massage felt like a meeting room. I know they are working on this at the moment to create a proper spa room which would be fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not in the centre but so easy to get to on the Metro. The restaurant on top floor and ground floor were both amazing, proper treat. We had the room with a bath, yum!! Beds are comfy and it’s all controlled via an iPad in the room. Staff were lovely, all so attentive and respectful.

7.0 Good
Pros: The people working was really nice and nice room indeed
Cons: Sushi restaurant, was feeling weird the personal is kind of weird nice, slow service we waiter 15 min to get the menu(I understood the kitchen was busy as she as mentioned after) not so much attention also from our dessert order I asked twice to have my drink with ice but I get it without, I know it’s a little thing but I had to say it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: superb rooms and perfect location.
Cons: Did not have breakfast, it's much more fun to have breakfast in town (and cheaper).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is in one of the most quiet places in Amsterdam. But we got a corner room (thanks to the lovely receptionist whom we have had a conversation about Dutch millenials) and the views are spectacular! The bed is just exquisite, spacious, and very comfortable. The windows can be slightly opened for ventilation. The bathroom was also very good.
Cons: The price may be a bit steep but I would not stay there for more than 3 days or so. Public transportation can be a bit awkward here because it is in the middle of two metro stations but there are tram options available.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and my room were nice. The staff is excellent, helpful and accommodating. I had a very pleasant stay here.
Cons: The hotel is a good distance from the city center. I think I remember reading ~ a 30 minute walk but it was more like ~50 minutes. Using public transportation, Ubers or taxis is a must.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff.
Cons: Flexibility of staff. Overall standards do not meet Okura Tokyo.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The pool spa area
Cons: The room had a huge stain on the carpet, and the staff made us wait a few hours before check in. its a great hotel but for a 5 star hotel and for what they charge it did not meet expectation

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful building, inside and out, in a great location. We got our room upgrade to a suite on arrival, which was spacious and had great views. It was my girlfriend’s birthday in the second day, and we were surprised to find some birthday wishes and treats in our room. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Pros: The hotel was nice and the rooms were well sized. Can't really complain. Great location and price for the time of year. Bathrooms and beds were clean.
Cons: We did have to do some rearranging of the furniture to get some more space between my friend and I, and ended up finding a large amount of dust under the TV stand. Lift was out of order.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! The hotel is located 10 minutes by foot away from the metro that brings you to the center of Amsterdam. The room was extremely clean, looked new, like no one stayed there before us, and it was very pleasant. Now what we loved about this place is that it was absolutely quiet! It felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. The sound proof is just wow. For me this was a solid 9/10. Very nice experience. We spent a great time here during our little weekend in Amsterdam. Definitely recommend
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was not always stable, and the temperature was changing by itself. My boyfriend said that there was not enough light in the room, but for me it was ok.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We instantly got a free upgrade for our anniversary, which started our trip off fantastic. The place smelt AMAZING as we walked in. The room was so big and comfortable. They even went to the efforts of leaving rose petals and a message on the mirror with a complimentary drink at the bar and cheese biscuits. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They recommended a lovely Italian to us. The location was perfect. Right next to the train station and not too far walking distance from the centre. We have already recommended to friends and family and would definitely stay again after our experience. 12/10 from us!!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: You need a hotel at AMS, you got it. It's comfortable and well furnished and featured.
Cons: Someone prior to me opened a coke bottle from the mini-fridge and then put it back. Hotel still charged me for it -- assuming due to sensors. The long hallway from the airport concorse to the actual hotel was a bit far, but that was minor.

Pros: Convenient and comfortable. Also, felt safe.
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location and facility
Cons: More vegan options on the menu

7.0 Good
Pros: Easy 10 minute walk to the airport, all inside.
Cons: Very weak breakfast buffet, very average but still 16 EUR. Telephone in room with Operator button did not ring the front desk and nobody answered. Unless you knew and dialed the extension of the front desk (5000) you could not get through.

7.0 Good
Pros: I liked the blue lights at night and the cool windows.
Cons: It was really nice, but my room was really cold. That was a surprise. Maybe that is just the way people like it in Amsterdam, but from the U.S., I am used to being able to turn up the heater much higher. I even moved to another room and it didn't work.

Pros: Good check in Friendly and proactive Bartender with portuguese nationality Good room, nice size and excellent beds.
Cons: Average to weak water pressure on the shower. The check-out was cold, unfriendly and desinterested. Not a good strategy if you want to retain guests and improve loyalty to the brand. I've tried to buy the cool amenitie that allows you to spray the pillow with lavender oil... The front office assistant decided that it was not possible to respond positively to a guest wish...

Cons: Prices went up a lot between me first looking and booking
citizenM Schiphol Airport Hotel - Schiphol - Building
10
8.8 Excellent (15,837 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Schiphol, citizenM Schiphol Airport Hotel is connected to the airport, a 1-minute drive from Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol and 12 minutes from Van Gogh Museum. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Too small
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A good idea for an airport hotel. Almost like a hostel. Real service even though there is simplified check in and check out. Well thought out room and superior amenities on the main floor. I recommend this for an surprised overnight.
Cons: No provision for luggage.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: More hotels in the future will likely look like CitizenM: highly automated, very modular, rather podlike. The limited staff resulted in a fair amount of guest self service at checkin and room operation. The iPad that controlled the room would likely require a learning curve for non-iPad users, but it did its job. But the room was very small (<100 square feet?); it was tiny for just me; I can't imagine sharing it with anyone. Staff was uniformly great (as is usual in The Netherlands) and the lobby, while a little hip for this septuagenarian, was convenient and did its job. The 24-hour food service was especially welcome. Especially because of the location, I would stay there again. But not pay more.
Cons: Way small room. I felt warehoused, a la Bladerunner. Darkness and several housekeeping carts detracted from the highly decorated hallways.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge comfy beds. Very friendly young staff. Great coffee. Next door to the airport. Great for the trains to get around from underneath the airport.
Cons: We though that Breakfast was expensive so we went next door to the airport which has everything you could wish for.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I love the iPad-centric room controls. Great selection of newly released movies. Comfortable bed with a great TV setup.
Cons: Temperature controls don't work very well - the room gets very cold at night even though I set the temperature to 70 Fahrenheit. The toilet and shower design are fun and just fine for a single traveler. When traveling with a partner, there "tube" designs dont provide any privacy, especially for the toilet. Perhaps adding a fan or some ambient noise to drown out toilet noises could help keep the mood romantic, hahaha!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location right next to the airport. Exactly what you need from a transit hotel. The check in and check out process was very straight forward.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy
Cons: No small fridge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the incorporation of technology
Cons: Has a good location and the bed with the airport view is amazing
8.2 Excellent
Pros: clean room, big comfy bed, friendly staff, AC, but the main reason that we stayed at this hotel was the walking distance to the Airport and Train connection to the city center.
Cons: Rooms are tiny and the Shower & toilet look like they belong on Star Ship Enterprise ( beam me up Scotty ) Lol The toilet had no Fan which it needed since the room is so tiny :( There is No parking at the Hotel still we would stay there again due to the walking distance to & from the Airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Very avant-garde. Mood lights, TV, everything can be controlled by the in room iPad. Bar and areas downstairs provide all kinds of environments for different people and activities. Buffet was good and reasonable.
Cons: Charging 3 euro to use a major credit card.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful friendly staff, good location, beautify design
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The check in time
Cons: No place for suitcase

Pros: the service was good
Cons: the room was horroble
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Too noisy. The bar downstairs opens to 2 am and people inside are very very very noisy, which means you will not be able to sleep before 2 am next day. And it is no use to complain to the hotel.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: There was no swimming pool
7.4 Good
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Keys stopped working every day and it takes a very long time to get from the room tothe front desk to get new ones. I also was unable to make my first night due to a change in our flight that was beyond my control and although I called more than 24 hours before arrival they would not refund my first night stay. I would not suggest pre paying. I have worked in hotels so I know there are always ways staff can make it up to you - free breakfast, bottles of wine, discounts on future stays etc. Nothing was done
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was a great value.
7.0 Good
Cons: No drawers at the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing
Cons: Everything! Dad has an amazing time at this hotel! Everything was amazing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was always really clean and tidy and the staff were lovely!
Cons: When we arrived we were told we had to put down a 200 euro deposit, we were in shock because we were under the impression it was only 50 euros. The 200 euros was not stated anywhere. After this the receptionist negotiated if we paid on card it would be 100 euros but if we paid in euros cash it would be 200. So we went for the 100 euros on debit instead, overall we had a lovely time however we hope that in the future this is made more clear as we went into panic mode a little bit.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Everything was perfect! Will definitely be back! Staff was great and accommodating. Breakfast buffet exceptional and service beyond expectations. Kudos to hotel employees for making this a trip to remember.

Pros: Staff were very helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and when I had an issue with a light they came up with a solution to block the light!
Cons: We only found out two days before we arrived that there was no bar facilities in this hotel so that could have been better advertised but there was no issue having a few drinks downstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really nice and comfortable, very beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and patient
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was amazing facility love the location & the staff xoxoxoxo
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good neighborhood with tram stop in front, parking at 15 Euro for 24 hrs in attached parking garage. Room and bathroom spacious, well decorated, and very clean. Lobby has computers and staff helpful. Fresh fruit in lobby. Tram & tour tickets at hotel.
Cons: Restaurant breakfast was very good and fair price. Dinner menu a bit high and limited in vegetarian options.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good value for money.
Cons: The receptionist was extremely rude. I cheerfully walked in and asked to check in. He pointed me vaguely in a direction, stating that this was "obviously" a self service check in, giving me a look like I was retarded. It turned out that I wasn't in the system yet so his help turned out to be needed after all. He reluctantly fixed it and when I asked him if I could pay contactless he again said "obviously not", trying to make me feel like an idiot even though it was a perfectly reasonable question. The hotel was good, but I never met such a rude receptionist in my life. He ruined the entire experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room and excellent service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to the city was great. Not too touristy, not too far away. Very close to the Museumplein, which was what my boyfriend and I really wanted to visit. The beautiful Rembrandtpark was right down the block. Super close to the airport as well.
Cons: The dinner wasn't great for what it cost, but it wouldn't deter me from staying again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Stylish, modern hotel in a nice area of Amsterdam. Internet access, with printer available, to print boarding passes a nice touch.
Cons: Looking forward to the Wales v Ire rugby, TV kept cutting out reporting 'scrambled programme'. Apparently this was a known fault. It happened across many channels, not just BBC. Extremely frustrating and not expected from such a pricey hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Tram stop outside. Ease of booking in and out
Cons: No
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Three adults, including myself, stayed here a day before and after a cruise. The hotel was a great price and offered three single beds and a very large bathroom. Being from the U.S. with limited public transportation where I live, I did not realize that the tram is different than the train. We thought we could take the tram to and from the airport and port, but you need to take a taxi, so that was a little disappointing. The tram is an excellent way to get downtown, though. You pay right on the tram, 7.50 Euros for 24 hours. The staff was extremely helpful in giving directions regarding navigating the city and helping answer a variety of questions. They even ordered taxi pick up for us.
Cons: No cotton washcloths No alcohol on the premises Small refrigerator No ice? Limited dining in the area Must take a taxi to/from airport or port, the train is too far to walk with luggage The price the hotel quoted us for the taxi was incorrect. The taxi companies charged more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good. Self check in and out. Spacious and clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The corner room had an excellent view and the hotel was next to a tram stop so travel was very easy.
Cons: The bathroom lights were on a timer. While you were showering the room would suddenly go pitch black. You would have to get out and wave at the sensor. There was no way to change the length or override the timer. I requested and got a room change.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are exceptional. Made the experience even better. Thanks Tamara, Inez, Anna and Tom, all four of you went above and beyond! We also loved the free bike hire, proximity to the tram, that had us in old town in next to no time. Schipol being one intercity train stop away or six minutes ride was a real bonus too.
Cons: Too short a stay. The loo and shower pods in the middle of the room may be of some concern if you're thinking of sharing with friends?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the staff was very friendly, helpful, always with a smile. The room was clean an very functional. Best bed that I EVER slept on! Best experience ever!

Pros: The staff is amazing, the property is super clean and I like the fact that you can control your room's light using a tablet. The experience itself was outstanding and the team was very friendly and professional. The location is very close the the metro station. I would like to thank all of them for my husband 's birthday surprise. I highly recommend to stay at Hotel CitizenM.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Amsterdam hotel went above and beyond in helpfulness. They oriented us to the city, the rail system, best restaurants, called cabs, etc. Felt like we had made friends.
Cons: The rooms are quite small., and yes, the shower is in the middle of the room. You have to see it to believe it. It's fine if you're a couple, or single. well worth it. We will always use this chain in any city we can.

Pros: Really good gym, bikes, good internet, nice rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: Room was a bit cold
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, although it's location looks a bit further out of the centre it was so easy to get to and from Centraal with just a few stops on the metro with trains running really frequently and there's also a tram stop round the corner for other routes! We'd definitely choose to stay out this way on our next visit to Amsterdam. (The only thing to be aware of is when the metro stops running at night, but theres night bus options and ubers or taxis are cheap enough!) When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of prosecco each and really friendly staff, the room was perfect for us as a couple, nice and quiet, the huge comfy bed meant we slept really well and everything was immaculate including the toiler/shower room. The common areas are really nicely designed with fun bits and pieces, we played ping-pong one evening and sat in the adjoining bar having cocktails another evening (there's happy hour deals which we took full advantage of). All in all a great stay!
Cons: We couldn't adjust the heating/aircon in our room, I think these are pre set to an eco mode. It was mostly warm enough, there was just a couple of occasions we came in from the cold wind and it would have been nice to boost it up for a bit. Also the kettle seemed to cut out on us a few times but wasn't really an issue and I'm sure the lovely people at reception would have sorted it out if we'd have mentioned it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: 1 ply toilet paper

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Swissôtel Amsterdam is in one of the absolute best locations of any hotel in all of Centraal Amsterdam. A short walk from the major historical sites, bars, restaurants and Centraal Station.
Cons: Not really -- I had a great experience. You might want to take Uber from the train station if you have a lot of heavy luggage to transport. I walked the .5 miles from the station in 15 minutes with my carry-on luggage no problem.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the USB ports. Nice size room.
Cons: They have computers to check yourself in but they still needed staff to assist. Waste of time. Just have staff assist you to check in with the computer. Same amount of time and manpower.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and the view
Cons: Lady at the reception was really grumpy. Been drinking coffee while talking with us :/ first time had situation like that and the hotel looks very nice I bet she needs to be send for some course and learn some guests service
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel to use if driving to Amsterdam. Easy tram ride into the centre
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great as expected
Cons: It does not have a gym
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Great rate (much less than hotels downtown) and included free breakfast, wifi and had friendly helpful people who all spoke English.
Cons: We did not realize that we would have to take a tram to the downtown part of Amsterdam where everything was located. If arriving with suitcase from train station, go out the BACK door of Central station and then go down stairs below and look for Tram 12 to get to hotel (2 stops) If not, it's a 10 min walk but a bit tricky initially to find. To go to the Airport, we had to take Tram 12 to Central Station and then the Train 1 stop to the airport. To go to the area of Amsterdam where most of the museums were, we had to take Tram 12 (near hotel & comes frequently) and then change to Tram 6. Since we were there for only 2 days we'd rather just step outside of our hotel and be in walking distance without public transportation. The hotel is basically in suburbia. (About 15 min or so into the City though.) The only option for dinner is their $29 buffet. There is a restaurant 5 min away, Cafe Pistau though that is excellent).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean and it wasn't very hard to get into Amsterdam central.
Cons: The bar is non alcoholic drinks so you can't have a drink in the evening there. The breakfast finished too early as well so was a rush to get there.

Pros: Clean hotel efficient check in, friendly staff
Cons: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, easy access to trams and other public transport. Staff were great and very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome, ca. 20 mins to the old city with tram, tram station is just few steps away from hotel, if you come back late after 1:00 in the night, there is a bus connected Breakfast is good, 15 euro is cheap for Amsterdam..
Cons: Actually no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, one not so friendly but hey! This is Amsterdam! The rest more than made up for her. Very clean. Very modern. Very COMFORTABLE. Transportation into city center was not bad at all with bus and tram station nearby and a main train station within a 12 minute walk. Pay for breakfast, pricey but worth it.
Cons: Everything was great, I plan to return and recommend to all my friends and family.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and clean environment.
Cons: N/A.
7.9 Good
Pros: Closer to Airport and beer property to stay
Cons: There are no bathroom toiletries
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so accommodating, we had an issue with our flight so we had to book another room for 2 days and the staff were so understanding and even let us stay in the same room we originally booked
Cons: I would have liked for the lights in the room to be brighter I found it a bit dark
9.4 Excellent
Pros: We love that it was right next to the airport, very clean, very accommodating. We love that there was a shuttle available for both the airport and access to city center.
Cons: The idea of the shuttle drop off being “near the city center” was misleading since we considered the city center to be near Central Station. The museum district is quite a ways away from center. Also, shuttle could run later than 11:45—we would have been willing to pay double to have an opportunity to stay longer.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: At 5 O'clock in the morning a drunk youth knocked on our door. Scary and terrified. There is no security-control management in hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really liked the fact there was a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. And they do a shuttle bus service to the centre of Amsterdam for €7 as a return. Also, the room itself was much better than we expected it to be. We also loved the welcome box given, it was really useful, just a shame we didn't get a chance to use the vouchers provided in it.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room
Cons: Not sure
2.2 Mediocre
Pros: No points of interest were positive.
Cons: May 31, 2018...this hotel is not suitable for overnight guests. Construction equipment blocks all but one entrance, facilities are not open such as resturant. If you have a reservation, wait time at checking is still 2 hours upon arrival. Was told my room was needing cleaned so I waited at the bar. 2 hours later my room was still not available. When asked if there was another room the host stated all rooms were full and/or still uncleaned. This property is not ready to be open. This is not a suitable environment for any guest as construction is still in progress as is the constant video, photo, and reporter stream in and out of the lobby requiring waiting guests to move constantly and treated poorly. The owner gladly sat with interviewers while ignoring frustrated customers that were being told their rooms were not clean and wouldn't be ready at posted check in hours. Very rude environment. Room information is on the TV, a nice way to provide while saving paper, just took a moment to find that this existed, however it does not. Bar options limited. Two small euro square pillows on a double bed and the bathroom sink hair hair and streaks in it. Beds were comfortable, room quiet, and AC worked well. For the few positives this room has the negative approach to the hotel open overshadowed the stay. Airport shuttle left prior to posted time and required an Uber as the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes without passengers. Checkout staff sat down and waited for me to approach and did not engage interaction. Whomever owns this hotel made very poor choices in staff and soft open procedures. This is not a suitable hotel at this time period and the management should be ashamed of the way their check in process and treatment of guests is going. I would rather sleep at the airport than stay here again. Save your money and book elsewhere near the airport if you plan to check in at all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the Handy phone that is in each room. This is a phone that the hotel allow you to take with you while you during your stay. You can use the internet on the phone, as well as, make free local and international calls. You have GPS on the phone
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: The room was freezing. There was a small heater in the bathroom so when I complained they said “did you try leaving the bathroom door open?” Then I complained again and they offered me another blanket! On my 3rd time of complaining they brought a portable heater to the room. They advertise that they have heating but apparently they don’t in all rooms!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing really although I liked having a restaurant inside the hotel
Cons: The receptionist especially the lady that works on midshift, shes rude and apparently doesnt know how to communicate with customers whenever you request something or ask her general questions

Pros: The coffee and juice selection was good. The location was great, enjoyed watching the planes land while eating.

7.0 Good
Pros: Ease of use - have been using the hotel for the last 6 or 7 years, so works well for us.
Cons: Originally upgraded to a 'better' room only to discover that the room that I was given was not made up, so had to return to the front desk to be dealt with for a second time.

Cons: The bathroom was small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: No
9.0 Excellent
Pros: really expensive, 17.50€ is extremely expensive in my opinion for such a hotel category. You don't get what you pay. I stay in this hotel since 20 years ago, I use it for business purposes. There are no facilities in the surroundings only a McDonalds crossing the main road, 600 m away from the hotel, so it's almost the only option that you can get.
Cons: same breakfast always, poor quality products, but friendly staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The best part is the free shuttle to and from the airport; I arrived from Luxembourg in the night at 1: 00 AM , but managed to get the last shuttle available at 1: 32 AM
Cons: There were no kettles to use in the room , I think that is a basic necessity , I will be upfront here , especially we Indian look at saving cost on breakfast , so we get ready to cook Indian breakfast sache , in order to prepare the instant ready to cook item , we need hot water , and again for hot water we need a kettle
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very nice. While not huge, they were perfect for a solo traveler who wanted a nice room for an overnight stay before or after a flight.
Cons: It would have been nice if breakfast was included but I think the value of the room is well worth it even without it. The shuttle runs a little slower in the afternoon hours (probably because there are fewer flights).

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice family feel different from hotel chains, delicious pizzas in the Italian restaurant and perfect location 10 minutes from Schiphol airport.
Cons: A bit of noise coming from the reception and corridor can be heart in the rooms as well as some beeping of electrics.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for transit to airport with free shuttle every 1/2 hour. Clean. Staff friendly.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel did not have an elevator, and we had to carry our bags up some steep steps. The room was very small, as was the bathroom. The beds very of really cheap quality and moved constantly. Our room faced the street and from 5am onwards it was noisy.
6.7 Good
Pros: Easy to get from airport with shuttle
Cons: Uncomfortable bed, not clean becausd of panties under the bed, sound insulatio dramatically bad
7.0 Good
Pros: Extremely quick check in, very polite professional staff. Enthusiastic restaurant staff. Very clean room, well appointed spacious rooms.
Cons: The distance of the hotel to the airport is 6-7km, which in taxi fare is about 25-30 Euro. It seems close, but in reality is expensive to travel to. This room faced the main road, and a lot of street and vehicle noise can impact light sleepers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel.thanks
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything as expected! The fares, free shuttle to the airport, the location/facilities. (Though it must be paid out of the fare), it's a really tasty/enjoyable breakfast, I recommend it!
Cons: A very little issue, solved very quickly by the concierge, was to turn on the room heating. It has no elevator/lift, only a somewhat long stair to the first floor. (It should not be a real issue , just to keep in mind)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, really comfortable and the shuttle to the airport.
Cons: You have to walk to other hotel to take the shuttle and the breakfast was quite expensive

Pros: This small friendly, clean hotel with a nice restaurant in a typical Dutch village close to airport serves me well every time I have a layover in Amsterdam. Shuttle goes to Dorint Hotel, a five minute walk from De Herbergh
Cons: Bread selection for breakfast is poor - none of the hearty Dutch Roggebrot on the buffet. Stairs are steep but usually staff helps carrying up my bags. A bit pricey.
