The tv didn’t work at all and they couldn’t fix it and the parking didn’t work 3times but the maintenance guy came out and fixed it
Not the nicest hotel but it was what we needed. We stayed there as we were in town for a hockey game. The hotel provided a shuttle that got us close enough however we had to find our own way home. AC worked well. Toilet in room barely worked and was very loud. We had reserved a king bed, but got two queens instead. Because of this, they waived the fee for parking. Our view was ok, overlooked the river however there was serious construction going on around us.
Where do they get these (amazing) staff?
From check in to check out, the staff made our stay special. Tampa was a short stay on a long road trip, so we had a Jeep full of baggage we didn’t want to leave. They had a cart by the car before we knew we needed it and our baggage was in our room before we covered the Jeep and got up there. Edward (shuttle driver) is one of the nicest, funniest people we’ve met in our travels. He dropped us off in Ybor City and, once there and we realized our dinner reservation was nowhere near there, we called him and he picked us up and brought us across town to dinner! Happy hour at the bar was a joy. I’ve not laughed so much at check in or check out. Even the night security guards were hospitable (and let us know they were keeping an eagle eye on our open-top Jeep). Happy, customer-focused staff and a solid hotel in a good location on the river walk. We’ll be back
Nothing. We were too busy enjoying ourselves.
Great shuttle service to and from the port and individual service to local restaurants. Couldn't ask for better service. Nice breakfast service in the restaurant. Coffee and cool drinks in the lobby. Secure parking while on a cruise. Wonderful location at Riverwalk.
Nice location very friendly staff
Very outdated rooms. Some are reupdated and nice but some are very old with plumbing problems etc
No place to put shampoo or soap in shower
Great location for Riverwalk and downtown. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious with lots of local beers on tap.
Needs updating, water in shower smelled 'musty', thinner walls so hope you don't get loud neighbors
Bed and pillows great
Old noisy moldy
Ruverwalk location is a plus
The location of the hotel is right on the riverwalk allowing for easy access to the convention center and straz performing arts center. Lobby was clean with fresh flavored ice water available. Check in was quick and easy.
Rooms are old and small, but clean. We asked for a late checkout and were provided with one extra hour. When we were taking our luggage to the car, our room key was turned off even though it was prior to our late checkout time. What a pain to have to go back to the front desk and reactivate the key just to get the remaining luggage!
Needs a remodel
Location in downtown , access to river walk, friendly staff, restaurant and bar was good. Rooms were clean, flat screen TV, free shuttle to local area.
Very old/dated rooms, Very noisy- every noise in the hallway was heard clearly (and loud) in the room. Sound from adjoining rooms was very audible.
Very Helpful front desk attendants. Would stay again and very close to the Hockey Arena! Can't wait to visit Tampa again.
I really enjoyed the bartenders. They were very personable and tried to relate to someone that wasn't from anywhere near the area. The shuttle service was also nice and the driver brought us to where we wanted to go.
I didn't like not having a complimentary breakfast. Pool closed really early as well. Took forever to get hot water to my room.
