It was so close to the airport! But it was also a FANTASTIC hotel. Great gym, indoor pool, such a nice staff, incredible design features, amazing food.... It was all amazing!!
The rooms were clean, fairly large, and were very modern. Good and drink was very expensive. Breakfast was of poor quality.
As far as airport hotels go this place is great. We arrived in the morning from an overnight flight and left again that night. Our check in was fast and our room frist class. We spent the day being pampered in the spa by the excellent, friendly staff. The restaurant is buffet style and has an amazing choice of very good food.
sleep, swim, spa, and sleep more
Clean confortable hotel with big room.
Wei Chinese Restaurant, excellent staff who served foods to my elderly parents into smaller dishes. Excellent design in lighting. There was a iPod speaker in the room, that I used for my iPhone, compatible even though the screen said it wasn't suitable. There are iMac in the reception floor where I could surf net and try out leopard OX. Too quiet? I don't see more than 3 people in the jacuzzi area in the afternoon, weekday. The bathroom door has no lock and actually has a slip.
Friendly staff. Close to the airport.
We had a gastro attack from the food at the hotel.
The hotel was great for me. When we arrived the staff were very freindly and helpful. A free drinks voucher was much appreciated. My room was very quiet. Breakfast was very good with a range catering largely for Chinese, Japanese and Americans. Plenty of choice with an option for freshly cooked eggs etc. My stay was limited to overnight so didn't try any of the other facilities. What I did notice was that the hotel is used by airline staff and in my experience this usually means the hotel is pretty good.
the front desk personnel were very helpful in translating addresses to Chinese language for my taxi driver.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Service was excellent. Great breakfast buffet including both Asian and Western food Hotel was located perfect for my travel purpose, but might be a bit far away for tourists visiting Taipai (cab ride is needed to get into city)
I liked the location, the more than helpful and friendly staff and the restaurant. I only had a short one night stay, but I am sure all the other hotel amenities were all first class, based on my experience. Everything was in order so I liked all of the experience.
The receptionist remembered that I was a smoker, and arranged for the door to the small balcony to be unlocked so that I could have an occasional cigarette without having to wander outside of the hotel. Internet (wired) connection was erratic. The immediate area is rather quiet and has little to offer.
The Japanese restaurant and New Year's Eve celebrations
It was a very pleasant and uneventful stay. I likes everything!
Shower and staff, especially staff There isn't really an airport shuttle even though they claim there is. There is a public bus from the airport that drops you a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms are very crowded. The hotel occupies a floor of an office building and a 5th floor lobby.
Hotel staff is very friendly. Outdoor pool on the roof. Breakfast with a price of 390 NTD was not really cheap.
I stayed there just one night for the transit however, this hotel is very nice for the one night stay. They have good swimming pool and outdoor hot spring. We had a wonderful chinese dinner at very low price. I asked massage at the lobby and they provided me round van service to massage shop near. It is only 25min from airport by taxi at 500 twd. I shopped good Oolong tea at Carrefour within working distance. The employees were very kind and speak English well enough for the basic communication. If I stay only one night at Taipei for transit, I will be there again. The elevator are card acvivated and door card is only working for lobby. swimming pools and the room floor. I reserved two rooms by different agents and they gave me the rooms at different floor which was terrible experience to go to another room. At the menu for dinner, there was Peking duck but they do not serve, for which I have to wait for more 20 min to order alternatives. Many western visitors complained this hotel for the smells even though it was provided as free for the tranvist by China Airline. However, I am sure that they will complain every Chinese or other Asian hotel even more severely. It is just cultural difference. If you don't feel different, it is not real trip. Enjoy your trip.
cleanliness too far from the high speer rail station
