Good location and friendly staff. The furniture was dated and had minor damage (scuff marks, peeling finish) in many locations. The bed was just OK, and the room smelled like bleach.

We are located half way between San Francisco and Las Vegas for a refreshing night's rest on your travels to/from your destination. Guests enjoy our breakfast buffet indoors in our large Breakfast area or sit out on our patio area to enjoy the Four Seasons that Tehachapi has to offer. We offer a fitness center for invigorating workouts, or a leisure swim in our Indoor pool & spa. We have a Meeting Room that can hold up to 40 people. We are here for all of your leisure/business needs. The courtyard area is exclusive to this Fairfield Inn with plenty of seating around our firepit or a nice walk around the area with lighting to direct you to our Gazebo. We are also a pet and smoke free hotel. Must be 21 of age to check in.

Cons (-) TRAINS ALL NIGHT COMING THRU!!! We couldn’t even check in an hour early. We were up there for a wedding and trying to check in so we can get ready wasn’t an option. Pretty sad. This city is ssooo small I find it hard to believe they were completely booked to where they couldn’t give us our room. They only good thing was the bed and pillow. Not worth the $$

Pros (+) Beds comfortable. Good location. Nice staff.
Cons (-) Weird light bulbs by the bed. Bottom half of each bulb was treated so that no light was emitted except from top of bulb. No way to read in bed. Staff got us some other light bulbs, but strange corporate decision on lights. Also air conditioner was making strangled sounds during our stay.
