9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped rooms next to pleasant pub/restaurant. Service is friendly and excellent. Food for evening meal is very good and breakfast has a nice choice of cooked options. Never been disappointed staying here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great comfortable and clean and bathroom with nice but shower. Evening meal was lovely starters, mains and dessert no faults. Sat in bar after evening meal nice atmosphere. All good and would recommend in fact have recommended restaurant to a friend in Farnham. The room we had was a great price.
Cons: Under cooked eggs for breakfast. Walking from hotel to restaurant in the rain. No decaf in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful and attentive Rooms were clean and comfortable
Cons: Hotel address suggests Farnham but it is a bit outside Farnham, not easy to find and on a main road so location was not great if you wanted something in Farnham itself
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean, modern but contemporary room. Very comfortable and with excellent facilities.
Cons: Road noise is a little intrusive if you're not used to it. Didn't stop me having a good night's sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great from beginning to end. I was able to check in early, both ladies at reception at check in and check out were very nice, professional and did all paperwork very quickly. I was afraid the room would be loud, being next to pub and restaurant but it is in a separate building with its own parking. Entrance is secure, you can only get in with the room card. Room was large, very clean, you have air con and additional heater. Bed was excellent and I had a brilliant sleep. Room had everything required and was cosy and spotless. Room had a double window and it was completely quiet all night. Woke up to have an excellent breakfast and coffee and very nice and helpful staff. Everyone is kind and helpful and they really make you feel welcome. The location is very convenient as well. Definitely will be back.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Colebrook Guest House in Farnborough (Rushmoor District), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Farnham Castle and Lapland UK. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Room 1 had a light outside that was on all night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Full English breakfast was awesome.....quiet area....fast access to highways.....
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff - Julia is very kind and helpful; Traditional English Breakfast freshly cooked was the highlight of my stay; Room was clean; Hair Dryer - very good quality; Heating system; Kettle, tea and biscuits in the room.
Cons: Unfortunately, I stayed in the non ensuite room. The bathroom was private and only I had access but it was very uncomfortable not to have access to the bathroom / toilet directly in my room; The furniture in the room could use some refurbishment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: Shower could have been more powerful
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome. Suited us for a one night stop. Good breakfast. Close to eating places if required.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were extremely comfortable, we had a good nights sleep. We were warmly greeted at breakfast and the breakfast was lovely. Great choices and plenty of it.
Cons: The sink in the end suite was too small to do anything and a glass shelf was above so could have been a little dangerous. If we were being picky there should be more milk for the family tea and coffee tray.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The area was close to the venue I was visiting. Close to a restaurant for evening meal.
Cons: The shower was a bit small but I managed. Noisy guests kept me awake the first night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guest house is located within a 5-10 minute walk from Farnborough Exhibition Centre and has good transport links with a bus stop less than 5 mins away which runs 24/7 and links to the train stations and the town centre. The staff there were lovely and really friendly. The cooked to order breakfast every morning was amazing! The check in window was quite wide and the check out time was reasonable. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, and the cleaners made the bed every day. There was a TV in the corner with freeview channels. Towels and a hairdryer were provided as well as plenty of wardrobe and draw space.
Cons: The water pressure in the bathroom was pretty much non-existent. I had to flush the toilet several times each time and the shower was little more than a trickle. The key to the door didn’t fit from the inside so the door was unlocked the entire time I was in the room. It was also difficult to lock from the outside and took a few tries. The walls are very thin as the building is quite old and I could hear the person in the room next to me snoring.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: An absolutely superb choice for anyone requiring a base for a weekend. The bathroom was a fantastic size, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. And to top it off, the staff are extremely friendly. A most impressive hotel in a charming little corner of Southern England.
Cons: I can't think of anything. A VERY well-deserved 9.6.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are immaculate as is the whole hotel. Staff were very helpful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent Receptionists were very professional
Cons: Stairs were a little tricky to navigate No food available
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room and facilities were very good, room was away from the main part of the hotel, so quiet, but view was naturally not too exciting. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: A few more tea bags and milk in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really clean and really friendly Accommodated early check in
7.1 Good
Pros: Very central to the town which suited our needs. Pleasant environment. Room clean and bed particularly comfortable, when we eventually reached it (see below)!
Cons: Our room number was not signposted. We arrived very late at night due to plane delay. Could NOT find the room and had to ring emergency number for guidance. It was out the back door and across the car park. Pouring rain. Still no signage. We took pot luck at an unmarked door and luckily it was the access to the annex! I would prefer separate shampoo and body wash

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice house & garden. Dressing gowns. Good breakfast. Car parking.
Cons: Separate bathroom. Satellite TV failed during the evening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our room on this visit (no.4) was a big improvement on our last stay (forget room number!) with excellent en suite. Comfortable bed with good choice of tea making items. Jenny very friendly. Avery quiet and restful venue whether as a business retreat or a short break. Fleet town has everything and is a most attractive town.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Lovely area. Creaky old house made a nice change from travelodges etc. Amazing shower! Private bathroom.
Cons: Wasn’t the cleanest of places. Breakfast was a little dubious.. couldn’t eat the fried eggs as they were only half cooked. Bit of a trek to the train station.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the friendliness of the owners of tinkers furze extremely well run, clean, and cosy, nestled in a backwater, but 15 minutes walk to the heart of fleet centre, the views of the garden at the rear are breathtaking, the breakfast is probably the best I have ever had in a hotel/bed and breakfast, highly recommended
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely garden and balcony.
Park Lodge Guest House - Farnborough - Building

Overview Reviews

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: On my arrival I was upgraded from a single room to a double free of charge. The room was lovely, had everything you could want, extremely comfy bed, powerful shower and a brilliant breakfast. The private parking was a bonus too, I loved the hand made pottery which was subtly up for sale, such a nice touch. Despite it having quite a few guests during my 3 night stay I always had a parking space and never once heard any of the other guests making any noise. The squirrel pub 2 minutes down the road does amazing food for a evening meal too. It was the cheapest in the area that I could find and easily found (and I'm useless at finding things). Overall it was faultless, I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly be back if I'm down that way again, thankyou so much!
Cons: If I'm being picky maybe hot chocolate sachets in the room but that's a personal thing - struggling to think of things that wernt perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent for the places I wanted to see. Martin the host was excellent, couldn't do enough to help & make my stay most enjoyable. Breakfast was served exactly how I like it. Even freshly made porridge!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, excellent food, definitely staying again.
Cons: Nothing

7.9 Good
Cons: My room was near the exit door for the block and there were people and children outside from 6:15 am! On a Saturday morning there were also gardeners outside my bedroom window so I had to keep the curtains closed!
7.0 Good
Cons: The barman ignored me when I was trying to order a drink, he seemed more concerned about the larger group who had an open tab, even though I was waiting to be served.
6.0 Good
Pros: We were looking for a place that was good for a one night stay, the hotel is clean and tidy, and does what you would expect, location is very nice.
Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike, it did everything in an ok fashion. This is a mid range hotel, and therefore don't go there with high expectations.
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel was comfortable and clean nice location
Cons: No lift we had a disabled person with restricted walking no lift . The receptionist was terrible ., she did not know the answer to any of our basic questions or anyone else who asked while we were in reception . She did not seem to know how to work the computer checkout took over 30mins .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and professional welcome. The afternoon spa package was good value and well looked after. Room was amazing. Dinner was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast , comfy bed ,clean ....
Cons: We were satisfied
7.0 Good
Pros: The English breakfast was really nice, I liked them. Also, the common room looked nice and regarding the location - it was quite close to the business park. Moreover, the bed was comfortable
Cons: The room seems to be a bit older as well as all the furniture inside. And it is right next to the main street so you can hear all the cars passing.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness. Good check in. Good bed linen.
Cons: Decor in room 30 was hideous. Dated, every colour under sun and in poor decorative order. Broken bedside lamp. No light over mirror. Horrible shower curtain. No flannel so has to wash with a makeup wipe. Breakfast coffee was undrinkable. Picked this place on location and because we thought it might have a lively bar and could get an evening meal. It was dead and no evening food. Fortunately there are restaurants and a pub nearby.
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms are a bit dated
Cons: Simple mixer shower - not a power shower Bathroom was extremely small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money up market B&B.
Cons: Nothing as expectations were met.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. It was cooked to order and included a good quality sausage, which some other places I've been to recently have not managed, and the service was good.
Cons: I found it difficult to get the temperature right in the shower and it wasn't very powerful. The decor was a bit tired and the room was still quite dark with all the lights on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast

5.0 Okay
Cons: there were no towels in the room and i was about to have a bath. there is no way of call reception if you have an issue you have to go back down to reception, terrible service. I also HATE this self-check-in. How impersonal. there are two receptionists and they force you to check in your self, Really Village - you cannot be bothered to welcome and check-in your guests!! terrible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room the bathroom the bed the bar
Cons: Nothing
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for the Farnborough Winter Half in January, for which it is perfectly placed around the corner. Check in is an easy and automatic process though staff are on hand to help if needed. The hotel has an in-house pub, restaurant, gym and pool. I didn’t use the latter two so cannot comment but the restaurant was nice enough with polite, attentive staff and decent food. The pub is quite large with the standard selection of ales and beers and plenty of places to sit. The rooms are quite spacey, functional, business like but better than some five star hotels that I’ve stayed. Clean and tidy, no complaints there.
Cons: The shower head should be able to go higher than it does. I’m not the tallest person in the world but I had to stoop to get underneath it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed and nice breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom had a little mould around the edge of the shower and there was a empty loo roll on the floor when I arrived which is why I marked it down for cleanliness. Other than that though it was very clean and pleasant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was good and staff very pleasant and helpful. The shower was excellent.
Cons: Room cups were not cleaned each day , we had to wash them out to make tea.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, swimming pool area was very relaxing, room was nice and spacious, good choice of tv channels with good size tv. Very nice walk in shower.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't great, very basic compared to what you get on the pictures. Very busy due to low cost drinks when football is on, had to wait a long time to get a table due to being very busy with people drinking, so getting food was difficult, had to wait until football finished to get a table, food was ok but not great and was a bit overpriced.Bed
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Free parking, central location, large comfortable rooms .
Cons: No proper reception to check in
4.6 Okay
Pros: Modern, nice bar
Cons: Car park completely full gym customers - why no reserved parking for guests? Breakfast area completely full with non guests arriving to watch rugby game - no seating and be loud - would have expected separate seating and breakfast area for guests. Left hotel without breakfast although prepaid and paid for breakfast at another hotel. Room door not sealed well, clear gap at bottom, so as many drunk guest came to bed during the early hours very noisy, impossible to sleep - cheaper hotels like premier inn have much quieter rooms. Had room service night before and paid at the bar when ordering, then asked to pay again on check out even though I had no facility set up to charge to room? Not well managed or organised.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful.
Cons: Room lighting was poor. No Safe.

4.0 Okay
Cons: Better breakfast, especially if you're a vegetarian. Very uncomfortable bed and noisy ventilation, had to unscrew it from the wall to make it a little more quiet.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel and room it self was clean
Cons: The facted some of the staff were rude and tryed to say I hadn't paid for breakfast when it was included in my price then realised they made a mistake
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Are key fob was cancelled twice as apparently the room wasnt paid but we paid cash on arrival! Which was verified eventually buy the lady that took the cash.... and also the bedroom was outdated and not cleaned properly!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Lismoyne is a traditional English hotel with a lovely ,cosy bar.Everyone is welcoming and the service is excellent. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance of Fleet town centre with some excellent shopping facilities and the beautiful trees surrounding the hotel really make the place special. We have now stayed here 5 times and we shall return. The car park is large and free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, this was our second booking and we will definitely be back. Many thanks xxx
6.7 Good
Pros: The venue it self was lovely , staff was very friendly .
Cons: The rooms were dated and over priced we originally booked through booking . Com to then arrive at the property and be told our room was cancelled back in July yet it was still showing available , we then had to pay an extra £9 for an executive suite although the staff resolved the situation we paid £90 for a room that I didn’t think was worth the money.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was fine Staff were very helpful an d cheerful
Cons: Shelf needed in shower cubicle foe showgel etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was warm and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and buffet breakfast in the restaurant were both excellent.
Cons: Shortly after arriving at the hotel I asked the receptionist if there was a local tourist brochures display anywhere in the hotel. She said that, to her knowledge, there were no such brochures. Later in the evening I discovered a comprehensive display of at least thirty different tourist and event brochures, tucked away in an apparently little-used corridor and out of sight of the hotel reception area. A little staff training in this area, together with moving the brochures into a more prominent location, would bring the hotel even closer to perfection!

7.5 Good
Pros: The Staff were very polite and helpful. location is ideal. The room was very clean.
Cons: Breakfast was ok but not special. Arrived just before 9 no tea cups, no tea or coffee and only 2 bowls for cereal. It’s a buffet, all food good, only 3 halves of toast, when I left other then tea and coffee nothing had been topped up.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There was nothing I did not like about my stay very nice would come again
5.8 Okay
Cons: Unfortunately the rooms we stayed in were shabby and in need of some tlc. I ordered gammon for dinner and was given 3 pieces of ham!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. There was one annoying customer (male in his 50’s) in the dining room, during our evening meal, he came in with a a lady. He butted into our conversation too ask what we had ordered. He would’ve tasted our food if given the chance. He sat down nearby with a lady and proceeded to be loud spoken, he ordered food with modifications to the menu. He couldn’t sit still and sat cross legged on his seat. And when he’d finished he left a mess a serviettes on the floor. Staff were professional towards him and polite, a lot more patient than I would’ve been. It highlights how good the staff were.
Cons: One particular customer but that’s not the fault of the staff. Staff were excellent.

Pros: Great service
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Room was a bit out of date. Towel rail switch no longer connected to a heated towel rail. Light switches old and a bit grubby. Decor needs a bit of love and attention.
7.0 Good
Pros: There was no breakfast
Cons: There was no breakfast. The bathroom soap/shower gel dispensers did not work, but I do appreciate the larger containers which would be more "green"
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I was on a bike trip and looked for a hotel near Southampton. Kayak gave me this option and I booked it. While location field said "Welcome Break Service Area, Southampton" it was 53 miles away from Southampton. I realized that then asked google maps for directions right after booking. Immediately I let them know about the mistake. Their answer was that I must pay anyway.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything relaxing friendly and great
Cons: Nothing it was perfect
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast and spa were value for money.
Cons: Room was not ready when we arrived, and was told to go to the bar, and pay for a drink while waiting for it to be ready. Pay more attention to detail. Clean the rooms more, like look under the beds, found an empty box of sex hand cuffs, room was dusty, had to clean the toilet before using Lamp in room kept turning off by itself, room was not value for money, very out dated and needed decorating(wall paper peeling of walls), half the tv channels didn't work. If your going to put 2 single beds together get a large duvet, not 2 zipped up together. Bed and pillows were also not comfortable. Cleaners also tried getting in the room 30mins before the 11am check out time, and we were not ready to leave yet, felt rushed for a room we paid for, to leave.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, very clean room and friendly staff.
Cons: Swimming towels thin and scratchy, dinner menu rather heavy but delicious.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was good for what we wanted. The breakfast was good although we did have to wait over 30 mins for hot coffee. The swimming pool and gym were nice but beds not at all comfortable.
Cons: The beds put down for the children were very uncomfortable.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The property was dark, dingy and filthy. This does not deserve to be called a hotel, one staff person for the hotel, the bar never opened, the one staff member was rude, the breakfast was left out around 6 am to help yourself with a very poor selection, I ended up leaving without even a cup of tea. I have seen better bed and breakfast houses than this. The place need shutting down and updating
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing for the money
Cons: No restaurant no bar no cooked breakfast as advertised no more than a cheap B&B
