The price, at least, was as low as the quality of what we found we were paying for.
Upon arriving at the hotel address, we found it closed, with a note at the door asking us to call some telephone number for instructions. After some trouble finding a telephone boot to make the call, we were told to go to another address, pretty further from the original one, and ever harder to find. There, we found out that the swimming pool advertised ate the hotel profile was empty, after all it all "off-season". The same goes for the "free airport pick-up", advertised as well in the hotel page, but which you find out later is only available on season peak. At leaving the hotel, the owner offers to drop us at the airport for a 20 euro fee, even though a taxo driver himself charges 15 euros for the same ride.
The location was quite close to downtown Fira.
We had trouble checking in because there was never anybody at the desk. We had to walk all the way back into town and find a pay-phone to call them. The towels were also not clean.
Location was good, free transfer to the ferry was excellent. Lovely, clean room.
The lady cleaning the rooms was the only member of staff available for information, and she's not a people person! Excursions advertised only run on certain days but they can't tell you which days! Pool was filthy.
High roof, high ceiling and good breakfast
Good price. The hotel's decoration is impresive. The room is big and clean.
There is usually nobody at the reception . The breadfast is just so so.The Fira town is too nosiy and air-polluted by the motors and cars.
Me and my friend booked a double room, but they gave us a triple! New building, clean rooms, swimming pool, 2-minute-walk from the center of Fira, definitely cheap. Free bus service from/to the port.
My husband and I were on a 3 week vacation to Greece and this hotel had to be the worst by far. The owner was not only unwilling to help Americans but made no attempt to help book any activities unless you purchased through her. She could have at least had the decency to understand that when people are traveling on 20 hr flights to come on vacations she should be somewhat hospitable.
The staff and the location was far away from major attractions.
