Pros: Great property, staff throughout all the facilities was very attentive and efficient. The tasting menu with wine pairing at the main restaurant was amazing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the facilities the atmosphere
Cons: food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel in a great location - huge country garden property (including two polo fields) yet only 15 minutes from Heathrow. Staff tried exceptionally hard to please us. Food quality also outstanding.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff everyone helpful
Cons: I don't like 14% being added to a food bill in a hotel I don't think it's appropriate. I certainly don't like the same bill open for a gratuity. That is wrong. I thought the brown staff outfits were dull for summer
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Out in the countryside near Heathrow very easy to reach from airport or London. Beautiful grounds. Choice of restaurants, very good food. Well kept horses. Nice Spa, a very good idea for a relaxing weekend. The staff is sensational.
Cons: No pets. The bedrooms in the stable are poorly soundproofed. Your sleep well get interrupted.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, grounds & accomodation
Cons: Food & drink is quite expensive, albeit good quality
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and surrounding grounds are excellently kept. The staff were efficient and extremely courteous.
Cons: For a 5 Star hotel at this price point the TV in the room was small and wasn’t HD - disappointing trying to watch The Open with a blurred image. Also the ‘free’ internet was extremely slow in The Stable rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil elegance and beauty in a 240 acre park
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Helpful , kindly &friendly staff , a very clean , tidy & beautiful place - children couldn't feel boring .
Cons: 1/They collected my luggage from the room without telling me. 2/Some children it's enough for them 30 minutes to ride a horse ,, Coworth park hotel doesn't give the two kids one hour divided between them. 3/kids club closed in the weekdays.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff couldn't have been more helpful, managed to have our rooms ready early so we could get changed for Ascot, we arrived just too late for breakfast but the receptionist organised breakfast for us which was lovely, beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, just a little gem ! Will definitely return. The evening meal was superb, delicious breakfasts, and at last a hotel with decent bath towels!
8.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff Extremley friendly room spacious and comfortable. Restaurant very good quality
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I always enjoy a cooked breakfast when away from home and yours was first class
Cons: Not applicable it was everything we wanted
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s very clean, gorgeous gardens, toys for kids etc. Perfect location and lovely staff.
Cons: I think breakfast should be included and it would be good to have something around the pond as I have a 13 month old. I know there’s lots of signs about it but it’s obviously a worry even though I don’t let mine out of my sight. It’s beautiful though. Could also use a mini fridge in room for babies milk when staying a few days .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing outside area. Excellent for kids to run around and play. There was a toy box which could be used by kids and a packed drawing books with colours were given in the room to be used by kids
Cons: Everything perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jessica on reception was very helpful and lovely and guy behind the bar. The grounds outside are very nice and the breakfast and food was very good.
Cons: Ordered some food which wasn’t correct, changed it, wasn’t correct, waited for some sauce to be brought out and it didn’t come either.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location and great breakfast with quick check in and out procedures
Cons: The shower could have been warmer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant staff lovely
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. The location was great The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet, despite being so close to the airport runways.
Cons: We dont like a duvet on the bed, but would prefer the good old fashioned sheet and blanket, as the duvet becomes too hot and heavy during the night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast and dinner menu not up to the standard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed, location.
Cons: I wanted to prepay the booking so that the other person using the room did not have to pay on check in. This proved impossible as I did not book directly with them. I added another name to the room and they had to pay on arrival once they finally found the booking, which apparently wasn't there and took some time. When I checked in many hours later they could not find the booking and told me that I had cancelled it, despite the other person already being there. I think that for direct bookings they are using the app rather than train staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was ok. Great price for a great location. Staff , hmm.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Not being told parking charges and rude staff
6.7 Good
Pros: Location and nearness to T4 is very good
Cons: The staff at the reception was very rude and not helpful. They gave us a feeling like we were a bother when we asked for directions to go to Windsor castle.
7.1 Good
Cons: Could not connect to free wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff were fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for the money. Great customer service. Great Breakfast and great dinner. The ribeye was awesome. Get the meal deal. Convenient to Terminal 4.
Cons: 3.5 miles from terminal 5 to terminal 4. Couldn’t figure out how to take the express train to terminal 4 so ended up taking a cab
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very efficient check in and check out. My wife left her wallet in the restaurant and found it afterwards with the staff's help.
Cons: Can't think of any.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good as I was travelling with my 8 year old grandson and his mother who were flying back to Brisbane. They had 2 big suitcases besides hand luggage so the fact they could use a trolly from the Airport to our room and use it the following morning back into Terminal 4 was a great help. My grandson was bursting with excitement as our room overlooked the runway so he could give us a running commentary. Thanks

Pros: Extremely friendly and obliging staff Great location and facilities
8.3 Excellent

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great Location (across the street from Windsor Castle). Polite & helpful staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellant, the concierge service was good, the staff were really friendly, the hotel looked really nice on the inside and the rooms were a good size. The breakfast was good.
Cons: For having a executive double room, the mini bar was empty for out entire stay, the bed could have been alot more comfortable and the bose sound system was no where to be seen! Lastely the thermostat was not the easiest to use, as it took quite a while for our room to warm up! At check out tried to charge us fot a drink we did not even have, so the communication could have been alittle better. Also me and my wife was celabrating our 1st wedding anniversary at your hotel and even thoe we did mention on our booking, your hotel did nothing to make our stay extra special. We ended up going to eat dinner at the hotel next door and wow so glad we did, they did so more to more to make us feel special on our big day, and the worst thing was we wasnt even staying at their hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was very good. The staff was courteous and friendly
Cons: The room was very small. The bathroom shower was leaky and did not function. We had to use the hand shower to bathe. The water was only luke warm. Lighting was very poor and the view from the room was less than satisfactory for the price we paid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were thrilled by our experience at the MacDonald Windsor. Check in was quick and easy, the room was comfortable, welcoming and quiet. Furnishings were well designed and good quality and the bed was very comfortable with good quality linen and so we slept soundly. Evening dinner was delicious and the service was very attentive. Breakfast was equally impressive with terrific choice and quality. We left feeling that we had been in the hands of professionals. Well done.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: So lovely and picturesque
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and well appointed, everywhere appeared well looked after including the large grounds. Good breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is providing the right number of staff throughout the hotel enabling them to provide a consistent complete excellent quality service and all of them are extremely helpful, efficient, friendly and polite which made our stay fully enjoyable. The outside grounds are well maintained which together with the lovely view of the river makes the stay very exciting.
Cons: The room looked slightly tired and needs a bit of updating.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The Oakley is incredible! The room was the perfect style to match the hotel, the bed was very comfortable, and the sandwiches are amazing! It is beautiful to walk around the property both at night and during the day. The whole hotel is gorgeous!
Cons: I can't find anything bad about this place!
7.1 Good
Cons: The receptionist checking us in, whilst informative, was unsuitably attired for a 4 star hotel. You need to smarten them up. The dining menu is limited to the extent that it appears 'take it or leave it'. Again not what I expect in a 4 star hotel. The best meal was breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The scrambled egg was disgusting as ever!! Been going 17 years and still all sloppy!! I do keep mentioning it!!
Cons: Scrambled eggs!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice location by the river but a long way from town. Rooms are OK. Breakfast was quite good.
Cons: Meal choices are “strange” plus they played big band type music in all restaurants and the bar at a loud level. Not sure why they do this. Out of character with hotel and very annoying. Staff seem uninterested in the guests. This should be a great hotel but something is just not quite right.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing all excellent
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Although the food was very nice in the evening it was expensive and there were limited choices if you didn't want to spend a lot. Children's menu burger was £12.
6.3 Good
Pros: Loved the old architecture and its location on the river Thames.
Cons: There was a musty smell as soon as you entered the hall to our room. This continued into the room. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. Very expensive. . We also found the staff apart from a lady in the bar, were most unprofessional. We ordered a cab from the man at the front door and advised we would wait in the sitting room off the entrance. The cab came and waited 20 mins before leaving as our man had no idea who we were and where we were waiting. Nor did he care.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the breakfast, really nicely set out, jars of seeds and a green juice, well done! Fab location, terrace restaurant was superb and the location on the water was just stunning. Pool was just big enough for a good swim although with more than 4 of us swimming would have been crowded. Nicely kept, good staff. All the staff I came across everywhere were charming, well done.
Cons: The odd thing about it is that while the location is perfect and the building is fabulous, it seems that the decor is just a bit off in the public rooms. The terrace and everything outside was literally fantastic, and the grounds well kept, but the decor and furniture in the lounges and bars seemed so out out of date, not comfy and didn't match, it was almost like a place of two halves? Outside fab, inside dated. The breakfast room was hot and dark (unlike where the food was served which was perfect). It seems like they need to get an interior designer in to spruce it all up, you come in the amazing front door and are let down in the bar and lounges. SO much potential.

Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: Price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, and world class spa
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and river view Excellent spa Comfortable bed Nespresso machine Night manager. See below
Cons: Trainee staff was nervous and even the normal reception acted, at best, like a brusque and unfriendly airline check in. I was given a room without river view initially when I had paid for it I booked the Runnymede just, I underscore just? for that peaceful and lovely view which I will post here I was cross examined when I came back down, dead tired and irritable and the first reaction was that it must be the fault of booking .com and they did not offer to fix it. No one was pleasant or smiled. ...it unfortunately caused me to raise my voice for which I apologized This fortunately attracted the attention of the professional and charming night manager who sorted it out and gave me the room I had booked. It did take up 15 minutes of a a 24 hour holiday, but he recognized that. He offered me a nightcap and I asked for a midday check out instead if possible I got that and it’s been delicious Didn’t like the advice that guests were advised, that is asked, to change in the changing rooms and not in their rooms, and drag the bathrobes with them TV Very small and even smaller choice Though it says I Can control room temperature the air conditioning would not stop Towel rail unheated Asked for room to be cleaned (on door) whilst I was in spa So I could have a final nice hour with view. And fresh bath after pool with fresh bath wash Didn’t happen. So I Didn’t tip but that made me feel bad Couldn’t resist the lovely fat biscuits : ) in the room
6.5 Good
Pros: Awesome spa facilities, the whole place was clean.
Cons: The rooms were very hot and no way to control air conditioning. The staff at check in lacked any listening skills or emotional awareness. We requested english breakfast tea bags in the morning as the room had none and the porter delivered earl grey?! In too much of a rush to get to an event to chase. Hotel is right in Heathrow flight path so very noisy for most of the night when the window is open (as room to hot!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very polite and facilitating. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was completing in the Thames Path Ultra 100km challenge and had hiked 31 miles to get to Runnymede. I liked everything about the hotel from the great welcome I received at check in, the comfort and facilities of my room, and the friendliness of the bar and food service staff. I left in the early hours of the next morning completely refreshed. I totally recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing, it was all good !
7.5 Good
Pros: Modern, good spa. Nice seating along the river.
Cons: The Restaurant, The Lock, had average food. Good quality ingredients but didn’t come together well at all. Meal was quite tasteless.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate in one of the restaurants. The food was pleasant and good value. The room was nice.
Cons: This is the second time we have stayed and it is a nice hotel. Not a "you must stay there." but a perfectly pleasant hotel with friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming staff
Cons: Choice of firmer pillow
7.1 Good
Pros: The setting was lovely
Cons: Rooms were small

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.2 Okay
Pros: I can’t believe something happened yesterday, all the towels and blankets dirty in my room. When reporting the staff and managers change it but new towels and blankets was dirty too. Just say apologies and bring chocolate and think we will not report that.
Cons: Never will come back
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was more relaxed than I expected. The food was good and not too expensive.
Cons: The fire doors bang shut every time someone goes through them, this is not good in daytime, but is very annoying at 5 am. I do not think it is appropriate for guests to wear vests in the main public areas of the hotel, there should be some minimum dress standards. The paperwork said mobile phones were not permitted in the dining area, yet people were using phones without any intervention from the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, quality & comfort.
Cons: Couldn’t fault it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel grounds are lovely. The breakfast was a self service buffet with a good selection of hot and cold options. The superior double room was well decorated and stylish. Nice big and comfy bed.
Cons: I expected a bigger room for the price.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Clean and light Friendly staff Lovely setting

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant friendly just the break we needed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: excellent buffet breakfast with good choice of hot and cold food
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely setting, very central for sightseeing
Cons: Rather impersonal, noisy weddings the whole weekend. Poor amenities in the room, no shower cap, body lotion, vanity kit. Torn duvet cover which was replaced promptly
6.3 Good
Pros: The pillows were amazing and the floor service was really good once the young Austrian waitress came in duty
Cons: The bar tender was really rude and arrogant and was constantly asking us to settle our bill even though we were staying overnight and they had our room number and it was all charged to a debit card The service in the bar was very slow until the waitress came on shift Ordered food and when it arrived was completely wrong and had to be sent back
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location; Free bike usage
Cons: The weather

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Best place we stayed at during our holiday. Staff were lovely and the room was comfortable, clean, and updated. It even had an aircon which we were grateful for. The location made it easy to day trip around the countryside or catch the train from Ashford into Waterloo. The location also made it a short trip to return our hire car to Sixt. Restaurant meals were outstanding!
7.5 Good
Pros: The male staff were very welcoming
5.4 Okay
Pros: Comfortable larger than average room, comfortable bed. Breakfast had a varied choise of food and you could request extra that was not on the buffet. Very good location for Heathrow airport.
Cons: Menu for dinner, limited choise for vegetarians. Coffee was awful in hotel and in rooms. Wedding reception on when we arrived reception staff asked if we were going out for the evening they took over the hotel and garden which left us nowhere to go except small dining room. When we ordered food told we would need to wait 30 mins whilst they sorted the buffet for the wedding told it would finish at 11.00pm disco finished at 12.30am. Wedding party filled the car park. Difficult to get a drink felt uncomfortable no apology from staff in the morning, wedding guests took over again at breakfast toaster not working had to keep finding staff to replace food and milk. If we had not had a good deal through booking.com would have been asking for a refund.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything even though a wedding function was there it was absolutely brilliant, spacious rooms with a FAN! Comfy beds amazing food just loved it and polite staff.. highly recommend..
Cons: Only thing I would say is if possible add toothpaste too the accessory but that isn’t a major stall.

Cons: Despite reassurances that Reception was manned 24 hours it wasn't early morning so just had to leave key on desk unattended.

Pros: Fresh, sharp, modern but classic hotel. Rooms were decorated really nicely and spacious, the beds and pillows were really comfortable and the shower and toiletries are really nice. Lively atmosphere at the bar and nice restaurant
Cons: We sadly had a bad experience with our breakfast, there was a group of 11 of us for a birthday breakfast and it all went pretty badly in terms of the food and some of the service, the staff were lovely and recognised the issue and it was resolved efficiently and they were very apologetic.
