very convinient for someone wanting to stay a night in shinjuku near the staion. The facilities were great, the hotel had ALMOST everything i needed for the night. It is very chill as you leave your stuff downstairs and you can just relax in the communal area upstiars and read manga or use the massage chairs or drink free beverages and free wine. There are vending machines for snacks, and drinks and alcoholic beverages also. There are smoking rooms on every floor. There is also washing machines, which cost 100 yen per 15 minutes to use. The onsen on the second floor was very nice. the actual capsule room itself was very luxury, nice size and comes with a bottle of water and a TV and charging ports. it was very convenient to get ready in the morning because there is every amenity which you may need to get ready and areas with mirrors to get ready in the morning. the staff at the front desk spoke very good English and did a good job of explaining to me how a capsule hotel works and answered all of my questions.
There is nowhere on site to get a proper meal, only snack vending machines. It was quite inconvienient as i had to go downstairs and mess about getting all my stuff out of my locker and such so i could go out for my evening meal. So, if you are staying here please eat before you get here. Also the breakfast rice ball service starts at 6.30am which was too late for me as i had to leave the hotel before that, so it would be nice to have the breakfast service a bit earlier.
Plenty of free bits and bobs such as toiletries to use etc. Pod bed is comfy. Nice place to try a capsule.
Not allowed to use shower room with tattoos, so if tattooed may only be suitable for 1 night.
You get far more for your money than you'll believe. Fantastic onsen, free massage facilities and they also supply all bathroom essentials you'll ever need
You get all you need. You don’t need to carry anything else.
For each going in and out you need tot sie off your shoes and change to the special clothing. While you are inside it’s all okay, but if you go 2-3 times outside you everytimr need to change clothes.
No locks on the capsules
