Excellent location surounded by pine trees and just a few steps from the sea. Good and very various food. Piano music during the dinner. A bit noisy in the night because there is an open air disco close to the beach with music till 4 or 5 in the morning and you have to sleep with closed balcony doors (rooms with sea view). On the beach there were not enough umbrellas.
Nicely designed rooms, swimming pools and wellness center. Very pleasant and relaxing. No lockers and dressing rooms in the wellness area. Too much staff around which does not seem to be entirely necessary.
Quiet location, pine forest setting, red squirrels all around, fun train service to Umag, excellent breakfasts, nice public areas. Ground floor room seemed dark and dingy.
Spa relaxation except the fact that the prices are quite high I missed diversity of international food (Asia, Japan, etc)
hotel design and location dining room chaos, odour on some parts of hotel corridors
Excellent Spa, beautiful food. Limited loungers, and being "held" with towels from 6.30am although pool wasn't open until later. Room small for family & not enough storage space
In hotel they heve ygood welness, nice personal. To small rooms
I really enjoyed staying at Melia Coral, all facilities were perfect, the surroundings were beautiful as well, there was kind and prudent stuff. I would like to thank piano' player, prof. Davor Kovacevic, his repertoire included music of Michel Legrand, it was great! I recoment to stay at this hotel. Anna Bespalova, Moscow, Russia
The staff was courteous. The location was good and the hotel pool was very nice. The hotel had a little train to ride into town, that was very nice! The water by the 'beach' was rocky and muddy, not suitable for kids. The hotels that were closer to more attractions were Hotel Melia and Hotel Umag. Although the room says 'air conditioned' it was 24 c in the rooms, and it was very hot at night. Very uncomfortable.
Hotel is very nice and cosy. When you enter reception area you will feel yourself like you are in some small town center, everything is busy, there is nice and big coffe-restaurant,few small shops, all look likes you are in some shopping area...Everything is new and shine.Stuff is very polite and helpfull, food is mediterian and really tasty, you can shosse variable food for everyone Water in jakuzze (spa center) is not too hot,it is warm but should be very hot. Also you should be given some slippers be hotel.
super some servisies were done slowly
Very nice hotel for small kids. The animation team work extremely hard for kids, including swim lessons. No internet connection possibility at Village rooms.
The whole hotel and location is really nice new and modern. Breakfast is absolutelly perfect. The hotel is much nicer than a 4 star usually. Swimming pool area is really nice. Staff is not friendly, check out at 10 is too early, noo heating in the room, when outside temperature is 10., minibar is not filled up, shower spreads, bathroom light out, swimming pool water temperature ice cold, no beach towels, no toilettries in the bathroom.
Lovely building and staff were helpful. Far too big, nice pool but with 2000 guests-I don't think so! Meal times were a bun fight both for food and tables to eat from however, the food was good.
good size beds food without any taste, pure cafeteria style
The comfort and cleanliness of the room. The coffee at breakfast needs improvement. Did not have tea or coffee making facilities in room.
Good food and clean rooms
Well keeped hotel, big rooms, good breakfast, free swimming pool. Regrettably sauna and jacuzzi for additional 100 kn, many people and noisy hotel lobby. No nice sea cost, not enough parking spaces around.
Room overlooked the pool and the sea. Easy to find hotel. Great value for money. Only one or two places to go and eat/drink/dance nearby on foot. Hotel did not have any entertainment except a two piece band who played the same set every night which was geared towards the much older customers.
Quite nice hotel with good atmosphere
location, service, food
1)Close to the atp stadion.Croatia studena open.2)When i selected hotel i have only 2 options(others hotels was busy) 1)Tennis courts not property of the hotel, just one free court to hotel.2)some stranges with service misses.(not was drink to the late dinner, staff at reception can't beat this problem.)
With a small train ride to Umag This time the tables serving drinks was not included, the staff was not as friendly as before 14 days. Also, because of rain, there was no self service by the pool.
the food excelent, evenings with the live music as well. very nice and clear see. animations for children very good. the hotel staff could be more comunicative and smooth
Location, peaceful surrounding. Food (fresh orange juice is MUST in 4*).
The spa area and the received treatment by Francesca - outstanding! unfriendly, unmotivated staff gossiping amongst other colleagues and guests
Food (variety and quality) was surprisingly good. Live musuc in the evening is a bit too loud and a bit to long for a family type of hotel.
Excellent food, nice garden, swimming pool, tennis court. Beach is also nice. Everything was excellent.
The hotel is good value for money in Croatia. I did not like the food - however there are many good restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.
Food, environment, see view beach, sea, pool
I wanted additional (the 6th day) and they wanted 92 E and not the original 76 E. In the end, the hotel was empty and they gave it, but that it is not how it should happen. I asked for the birthday of my son, a surprise; fruits or something like it. They offered flowers and put 3 roses and asked 15 E for that, which I refused to pay.
wellness area tempwrature in the room .... cold
Fantastic choice of food, we took half-board and dont regret it, loved everything. Very nice waiters, very clean. It can be quite noisy from the sea side, but we took a park side room and dont regret it!
too big / impersonnel
