Pros: This was a lovely spot. OUr room was well appointed with everything we needed and MORE! THe Sherry was such a nice touch. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. THanks

Cons: Was not happy when at 9:06 pm noise coming from another room above, jetted bathtub vibrating the floor. I found there to be so many rules, notes all over the room explaining what to do and how to do…not needed…felt a bit like grandmas house.

Pros: A beautiful, old house with well-appointed rooms. The sherry nightcap was delightful. Excellent location in Sidney. Overall, recommended as good value for money.

Cons: Some updating of fixtures and lightning would improve the experience. Covid-period breakfast was disappointing but adequate.

As well as, fresh cookies in the evening. Great place to stay if you want to be out of the greater Victoria area

Cons: I really don’t like leaving poor reviews but we left tired, dehydrated and feeling stressed. The rooms, although beautiful, were tiny, I could hear the people next to us. In the morning (we had a bit of a chore) as our motorbikes were blocked by a late night arrival (some people are so careless & oblivious to others) . So I was a little annoyed by this. No bottled water (tap water is horrible) tv too small (for old eyes). I just felt like I was tiptoeing at grannys pristine home, being careful not to mess up a perfectly hung towel or use a facecloth. Its more like a b&b not a hotel. Not our thing, but it could be perfect for others.

Pros: The AC, and the decanter of sherry was a very welcome additional touch! Also appreciated the dining room facilities and microwave to heat our supermarket dinner!

Cons: It was all great. Too hot outside and many restaurants closed but not our hosts fault there was a heatwave!

We were warmly welcomed by Denise who met us outside as we arrived. The inn’s shared spaces and private are spotlessly clean with clear and much appreciated Covid-19 safety practices in place. The room was spacious, quiet and had a coffee/tea station plus chocolate. The bathroom was generous with good water pressure. The comfortable mattress meant we had a great sleep. All in all, a wonderful discovery for our B.C. staycation. The day after we left, my partner was already asking me about going back!

Cons: Everything was done exceptionally well, including the restaurants. One server told is the resort was actually a great place to work - high praise in the hospitality industry.

Pros: We arrived early as we had a spa treatment booked for 4pm. They allowed us to check in early which was great. Couples body wrap was amazing and well worth it. Dinner room service menu was much better than the breakfast one and the food was good. Didn't end up using the outdoor pool as we felt so good after the spa. I'd recommend the pool before the spa treatment.

Cons: The room service breakfast menu could have more variety with a few more vegetarian options please. I had the house made granola and it was too sweet/sugary to eat and was supposed to include berries but that was only one sad strawberry. It also took 45 minutes to arrive when they said it would be 20-30.

Pros: Although the backdrop is very nice, the hotel is located in a west north westerly direction, so the sun is almost not getting on the terrace of your room.

Cons: This hotel is not what it seems to be. It has had its best days. It has a lot of wear and tear. Not really worth the money. We were not feeling welcome after they declared that we would have rather booked direct then via booking.com and that a direct booking would have prevented a misunderstanding on their side on the amount of beds in a room. Don't they like booking.com guests??

Pros: Gorgeous location. Loved the welcome cider. We will definitely be coming back. Has everything you could need during your stay.

Pros: Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. The amenites were amazing; they have thought of everything you would need or want. The location is perfect - peaceful and quiet right on the marina.

Cons: The food at the restaurant could have been better. Also, I think that guests should have been able to make a reservation instead of standing in line with everyone else.

Our room is spacious and facing the pier with a beautiful view. Fire place and jacuzzi inside the room are a nice touch thought the shower is also powerful and nice. We enjoyed great services from the hotel n restaurant staffs during our stay. It is worth mentioning food in the restaurant is really good and reasonably priced. We had dinner in their bar lounge and cooked breakfast deliver to our room because of COVID. Will stay again.

Pros: Fabulous location, true low bank direct waterfront with three terraces and the entire property is well kept and clean. The accommodation is beachy quaint and so homey & comfortable. The hosts really did not miss a step. Breakfast supplied with a fridge chalk full of fresh items, very well stocked kitchen, closet full of board games, bathrobes & plush full size bath towels and even beach towels and water toys to enjoy the ocean. An abundance of staggered comfy seating areas on the terraces to enjoy the stunning views of the peninsula. The hosts were amazing -easy check in-out and promptly responded to any of our enquires. We hope to be back soon, truly a paradise in North Saanich, we thank you very much Ken & Linda for a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was ready for us at the time we chose and there were fresh baked scones and muffins, eggs, etc. The kayaks were free to use and made the stay lots of fun. The kitchenette was great, exactly what we needed. We literally didn’t want to leave! LOVED IT

Pros: The location. First time in Sindney and love this little town. This hotel is in the best spot. Right in the middle of all the action and beautiful nature. Love the coffee shop and restaurant being conveniently located right downstairs.

Pros: Stunning view of Finlayson Arm with beautiful tall trees around the property. Very peaceful and quiet. Five minute drive to Brentwood Bay for restaurants and entertainment. Ten minutes to Sidney. Hosts were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was delicious and we had an amazing view high up, overlooking the water and trees. The pool was refreshing and hot tub soothing. A great respite from the hassle and bustle and noise.

Pros: Breakfast, pool and hot tub were great. David and Jill are wonderful hosts and regularly checked in with us to make sure we were happy with our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Pros: Rae-Leigh is a nice spot for people who loves nature, quiet and peace. Went for the trip to celebrate our 5th anniversary. I love that they put the hot tub outside where you can see the trees on the background it’s where we love soaking after our day of roaming around Victoria. The property owner were super. Delicious breakfast and they are very helpful when you need a lift if you’re from the airport to the ferry terminal coz there’s no buses from there to the ferries.

Pros: This is an unassuming property that you could drive by and miss. The rooms are dispersed over several low rise buildings that appear at first dated but inside have been renovated. Although near the highway it is very quiet. Rooms are quite large, beds are comfortable and the windows open. Staff were friendly and efficient. Prices were the lowest we could find in Sidney . We would stay here again

Cons: The bed and pillow were uncomfortable, too soft. I got only about 4 hours sleep. The room at some point in its life must have allowed smoking as I'm sensitive to that sort of thing and thus woke up all stuffed up.

Cons: While nicely furnished, this place looks like a movie set for a English B&B. Filled with ornate touches, like faux marble columns, loads of painted dishware, and knickknacks everywhere. We were greeted, but did not feel really welcomed. The breakfast looked nice but the eggs were so salty we couldn’t even eat them. It is located right off the highway, so you really wouldn’t want to open your windows if you want a quiet room.

Pros: Breakfast were substantial and included local fruit from the property. Service was excellent. Easy access to Highway 17 to Victoria and Sidney. Wendy is a very personable host, and the home is interestingly furnished with antiques.

Cons: There was some traffic noise from Highway 17 adjacent to the back of the property; but I used my earplugs, so it did not disturb my sleep.

Pros: Everything was great except there was no aroma candles and lighter as asked.

Pros: Location is very convenient, close to ferry, to many attractions on the island. We stayed three nights and went for a day trip every day. Breakfast served by the owner Wendy is very tasty, very healthy and more than sufficient. Garden in the house is very nice. You can have coffee there or order take-out in the restaurant and have it outdoors in the garden.

Cons: In the room with a single bed, it is a small Queen. So if you have two people, you are going to be tight. It was supposed to be full, so they had no other room to accommodate me with. The room also had extra trash on the counter when I came in.

Pros: Great location, EV chargers, friendly staff and the room had a small kitchen with everything we needed for snacks and food we brought with us.

Cons: Could not achieve a dark room for a sound sleep - there was a WiFi device on the ceiling that lite up the whole room. Also the window could not be open for a quiet sleep as there was a lot of noise from the grocery store refrigeration system located directly across the street.

Pros: We traveled through Christmas with our small dog and three adults. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. There were a number of dogs staying and it was a delight to not feel nervous or apologetic about having our dog with us. There were treats at the front counter, there's a free breakfast with healthy options. This is not the first time I've stayed at Sidney Waterfront, and this visit was as seamless and comfortable as the last! Highly recommend!

Pros: This was my first time staying at a B&B, and while I was at first caught off guard by it being a room in someone's home (due entirely to lack of familiarity on my part), the hosts were nothing but hospitable, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all was waking up to a gorgeous view of the harbor that was unobstructed from my room - definitely something I could get used to.

Cons: My one complaint is that the property was a little hard to find - Waze took me in the wrong direction, so I circled the block a few times before finally finding it. If you're visiting, take a right on Amity Dr. and the entrance is on the left, although the house is set back a bit from the road.
