Pros: Ximenia and her husband were exceptionally helpful, from arranging a driver for the day, booking bus tickets for the onward journey, even helping us resolve a SIM card issue. The hotel was a wonderful oasis in a wonderful town. We highly recommend this boutique hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casa Terra is breathtakingly lovely. From the moment Ximena opened the front gate we delighted in the artistry evident in every corner of the large outside space. We enjoyed a coffee tray as we were checked in served by a fountain in the sunny breezy garden. Ximena sat with and offered suggestions of activities and restaurants and provided a sound and enthusiastic orientation to her lovely town which is cradled by mountains on all sides. Our room / bath (deluxe suite ) was large luxurious and well appointed. Breakfast was served in the garden and daily included fresh fruit with cream and granola, coffee, fresh juice, eggs per order.Birds were everywhere- colorful and sharing their songs. Ximena is a force of nature full of enthusiasm for her lovely town. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She interacts with each visitor as if he is the only guest. Her staff is highly professional following her lead. Everything about our staff was delightful. There is a reason Casa Terra wins the highest rating repeatedly.

Pros: We stayed for two nights with another couple in this wonderful quaint little bed and breakfast. Xiomara owns and runs the hotel and is an excellent resource. Pros: Price
Cons: It's really not good for vegetarians...
6.7 Good
Pros: Our room was immaculate. Recently renovated with a really comfortable bed, amazing bathroom/shower. Cable TV, and great wifi. Felt like a chalet.
Cons: The rooms aren’t where it says they are on the map. That’s just the office where you check in. You have to walk approx. 10 minutes further out of town, down a dark road, which felt a little unsafe walking at night. There’s a lot of dogs nearby l that bark all night. And I mean ALL NIGHT. Bring earplugs if you’re on the road side. The staff member who makes breakfast was really condescending towards us because we didn’t speak fluent Spanish. Although we could understand everything she asked us, and replied the best we could, she would continually roll her eyes and make jokes to other guests about us. It made us feel really uncomfortable. I think the other Colombian guest she was engaging also felt a bit uncomfortable with it too.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff and value for money.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were in the second building which had huge rooms with private bathrooms (great hot showers). Rooms and communal areas were super clean. Well-equipped kitchen makes eating in easy! The staff were super friendly.

7.5 Good
Cons: Being Colombian myself I was absolutely amazed by the lack of customer service. Not what I have been used to in Colombia.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was in the second floor and it was outdated. Poor appearance specially the bathroom, for the price should be better. Not so clean at all I found hair on the floor. The sauna was not hot at all and the steam room cannot keep the temperature since the door has a gap at the bottom and the heat scapes easily. Pool has poor appearance and if you need to contact the front desk you have to go there on your bathing suit since there is no phone.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very close to the main square, which makes it easy to go around
Cons: The restaurant is very poor. Limited menu available and food wasn’t great.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location is wonderful and it has a private parking lot that for Villa de Leyva is rare.
Cons: The place is not very well kept, the water in the showers was merely warm, and the staff wasn’t very nice to the children.
