We could see the bottom floor of the capital from our room! We walked to the museums; the in-out valet parking worked great. Everyone was greatly.
Comfortable hotel with a friendly staff !
Only complaint is the pool was supposed to be open late , but two of our three nights there it closed almost two hours early.

Close to Union Station & transportation choices. Price was reasonable for Washington DC The room was maintained in such clean condition (hint: make sure you tip the chambermaids if their service was good) it was nice to come back at the end of the day & just crash in a nice room. The room was quiet, it faced a office building, so there was no activity during the weekend around the facing building. There was no noise from other rooms.
Very expensive incidentals: water, snacks, etc. Buy these up at the Walgreens @ Union Station.
The hotel was clean and close to the Union Station. Staff was friendly. Overall it's a nice hotel.
The restaurant was not appealing. Not many closeby restaurants or shops. No convenience stores nearby. Walmart is about 15 minute walk which is not far, but I'm not sure if it's safe to walk at night. There is a liquor store across the street, but it's not a convenience store so the items are limited. No refrigerator in the room.
So friendly and helpful
We were traveling with our two daughters and three babies ( all under three). Everyone was very helpful. Everyone tried to assist us and we felt very comfortable. Location is also a plus.
We upgraded at check-in for an extra $50 which doubled the space. The location is excellent as it's walking distance to several sites. The fitness center is excellent and is included in the price of the room.
Lack of parking requires you to valet for $56 a day. If you are somebody that needs a great view you won't find it here.

Valet constantly begging for tips. Being from Vegas I tip almost excessively however if someone begs for it or nearly has his hand out the entire time it is not coming. It's called a gratuity for a reason. Then when delivering the vehicle no opening the trunk, and doesn't return the seat to where they found it or at least close. Not much effort in valet.
The location is perfect, near to train station and major tour points. The staff was kind and helpful. The room is comfy and spotless.
The location to the Washington attractions was very good. The value of the room was good., but the parking was very expensive.
The food was very expensive, you would think that they would want to keep people in the hotel to eat but because of the prices many people choice to eat out.

The employee at the front desk, Colleen was extremely helpful. the hosts in the Regency Club were very nice and attentive as well.
Hotel rooms were not very clean. Mold in bathroom. Housekeeper for our room was not very thorough. We broke a glass and swept it behind the toilet, she left it there. Never vacuumed until I requested it (after 5 days)

First of all of course the great professionalism combined with hospitality of all the hotel staff, secondly the location of the hotel close to Union Station and the Capitol, and last but not least the facilities of the hotel itself, like gym, pool, and restaurant.
Our hotel room did not have a refrigerator/mini-bar.That is for a hotel being ambitioned to be a five-star-hotel a little bit sub-standard.
