The employees, from front desk through to the doorman were lovely. The room was small but very nicely appointed. Check-in was easy. Grounds landscaped beautifully. It was right across from the Indonesian embassy. Loved the marbled ground floor/lobby area, gorgeously decorated hallway (furniture, carpet and beautiful chandelier) coming off the elevator onto our floor and arched, bricked, flush-with-flowers arrival area. Very quiet.
The BATHROOM … don't think a tall or overweight person could use it because there was about a foot of space between the toilet and the sink cabinet (directly in front) with the bathtub butted right up against that. Understand that it's an older hotel - years back they might have had a bath down the hall but now it's in your room however, I've never seen a bathroom that short of space in a hotel. The sink cabinet had no function so a pedestal sink would have opened up that space a bit. Ours was a lower priced room. The one across the hall from us was bigger so, probably, the bath in that room had no issues.
The beds were very comfortable, staff were polite and the hotel was lovely and clean
I didn’t like the fact of the 25 dollar per night mandatory add on to use the internet etc, we were advised that we would get 2 bottles of water a day for this and coffee and wine during certain times. I thought that the water would have been in the room but no, we did have a glass of wine on the first day but it was only about 100ml! I would have much preferred to have had the option to use the internet or have the package rather than being told it mandatory. I also contacted the hotel over the cost to park a car over night I was advised it was 52 dollars per night but then on the bill there was also nearly 10dollars in tax on top of that which I was not advised on!
Really clean and not a lot of noise
No microwave in room
Location. Free coffee. Let me in early.
Bleach stain in the carpet. Room 421.
Lovely hotel with nice decor and well positioned for touring the city. Large room which gave us plenty of room. Bathroom very nice
Loud Air conditioning which meant we had to change rooms , however the staff could not have been more helpful
