Cons: I liked everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great on all counts that matter to us: staff, design, amenities, location, and value. Works for business or leisure. Our 12 year old son and I decided to stay in White Plains on a lark (after an educational and fun trip to Sleepy Hollow), and very happy we did. Would recommend to anyone who needs "a clean, well-lighted place" to sleep.

Pros: We stayed for only one evening but we were quite pleased. The hotel is lovely and located on the harbor with gorgeous views. It is also conveniently close to the train station which we took to and from Manhattan. The shops of Greenwich are also within walking distance and this provides a nice option. The shops are upscale and unique. I would recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. Champagne is provided upon arrival and there was a continental breakfast provided. The staff was kind and not intrusive. Awesome place! You won't be disappointed.
Cons: No pool and nothing for kids to do.

Pros: Location
Cons: Air conditioning didn’t work. They switched our rooms and the new room had TVs and phones which did not work. Would not stay there again. Not a typical Marriott level of quality.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I've stayed in a lot of Residence Inns during the past 30 years of business and leisure travel and this one was a great pleasurable stay. It started with check-in when Midinah at the desk greeted with such cheerfulness that I thought it was 9:30 AM instead of 9:30 PM. After a tough day of travel, it was nice to get a warm welcome after walking into the lobby. And it was as if she was expecting me when I walked in through the entrance. I was amazed that she could tell that I was going to be a new guest, since I didn't bring any luggage with me during check in. The Health Club was impeccably clean and spacious, which is appreciated. In most other chains, an exercise room is just a closet with with a mirror and some free weights. I like that there is room to move around and to be out other guests' way. Having the five exercise machines was a great sign to guests that this Residence Inn takes the guests need to exercise seriously. The breakfast buffet was well managed and well stocked with cooked staples like eggs, fried pepper and onions and canadian bacon. The adjoining restaurant, Aberdeen, was a hidden gem. It's a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum all day long. On Yelp.com someone said "I've always heard that if you see Asians eat at an Asian restaurant that the place has got to be good". And it was true when I ate there.
Cons: The parking is $10 per night and it is a tight squeeze to get around the garage and to park.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very spacious in living and bedroom and breakfast was excellent! Staff very friendly and accommodating
Cons: The bathroom had little space for toiletries.

Pros: The staff were especially friendly and helpful
Good 7.1
Pros: Handled an issue well. Unruly guests in the next room were eventually evicted at 3:30 AM. Hotel gave us 30,000 bonus points for our trouble.
Cons: Nothing really. The hotel met expectations.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Parking was supposed to be free when I booked and I was charged for parking when I arrived. Our first room smelled of BO. We were moved to an alternative room, which was fine.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Proximity to the mall and restaurants is nice.
Cons: I'd prefer free parking, but who wouldn't?
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Easy location to get around and lots of places to walk to. Parking is on-site (but you have to pay)
Cons: If you are on the main street you should expect to hear some noise from traffic
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Everything
Excellent 9.4
Cons: The hallway my room was on smelled like complete throw up and had a horrible odor until later on in the night. Understandably, it was new years day when I came but the hall should of been sprayed or contained the smell. That is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.

Pros: Our room was spacious and very clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, bed and pillows were comfortable. Coffee was good, I usually dislike hotel coffee but Hyatt had some good coffee.
Cons: Breakfast buffet could have been a little more exciting. Limited choices and pretty bland.

Okay 4.8
Pros: The room was nice
Cons: They could have been more clear that the restaurants were closed as well as the pool. They where the reason I chose to stay there
Excellent 8.6
Pros: Not so many people there and it is very quiet place to relax and peace. so we came at the right time!;)
Cons: One mattresses is very soft and floppy which makes my back hurt. Plse check the matrress... Also needs a bigger table instead of square table so can put some food on instead on the dresser...
Good 6.0
Pros: Nice rooms, although a little on the small side. Great location while visiting Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Elmsford, etc. Cooper Mill restaurant is comfortable with good food and provides the room service. Did not make use of the spa, but it looked nice. Excellent service at the front desk. Very accommodating of any request.
Cons: Evenings when there are company parties and weddings in the ballroom, parking can be a problem. The ballroom can handle very large groups. There is plenty of parking available but it can be a long hike to carry your luggage. We experienced this twice during our four night stay. Coffee service in the lobby is Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday only, and then coffee is not served until well after 7:00 am. Do not plan on coffee service from the lobby.
Good 6.0
Pros: The beds where comfortable, good water pressure and got water. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Not happy that we had chipping ceiling paint over the bed. Don't be fooled when your told you have a room with a view of the pool. It was noisy, could bot open the windows for fresh light because of pool was right there, and random people walked up to the glass sliding doors to sit in chairs directly in form of our room.

Good 7.7
Pros: I like to visit NYC every once in an while but don't like to cost of hotels in the city, not to mention the trouble with parking my vehicle. I find this hotel reasonably close to the city for a reasonable cost and with plenty of parking space. The facility was clean and the staff was ok.
Cons: I felt a little aggravated that at breakfast, the regular coffee machine was broken and there was no regular coffee at all, only decaf. When I inquired about it, the personnel attitude was like "there's no regular coffee, deal with it." I feel that coffee is a fundamental part of the american breakfast and the management could have make alternative provisions to have regular coffee available. Now, to be fair, I was not completely coffee-less. There was regular coffee with a coffee maker at the room, but them the second day of my stay they did not supply with a disposable plastic component need to brew the coffee and I had to walk to the front desk to get it.
Okay 5.0
Pros: It's located conveniently
Cons: Terrible service, terrible breakfast, expensive for what you get and elevator didn't work.
Okay 4.0
Pros: OK price for the area - not a fantastic bargain.
Cons: The place is OLD and shows it. The room is in dire need of a deep refresh. And, oddly, the curved shower curtain rod was mounted in such a way that it drooped in the middle, causing the shower curtain to slide to the middle and would not stay closed at the ends.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Nice, clean, quiet rooms. The beds were very very comfortable. Very nice breakfast including eggs and sausage. Enjoyed the pool and workout area. Close to all the Palmyra LDS Historic sites and the Hill Camorah Pageant.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room was awesome facilities were good
Cons: Guy at the pool was creepy and muttered remarks under his breath about us.

Pros: Staff at desk.
Cons: Elevator: only one working, apparently in a maintenance cycle. Why not warn customers before they book Water main break and subsequent inability to get water heaters re-started meant almost 24 hours of no water, we were comp’ed but this was very inconvenient Located near very busy interstate intersection, much road noise.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Location
Cons: 227 is a sad, little room. A queen room at the Hampton Inn. It is unloved and uncared for. If the room were located in Paris, France or a berth on a cruise ship it could be considered spacious but by typical standards it can only be described as tiny. There is no chest of drawers. Guests must leave their clothes in their suit cases or stuff the two night stand drawers. The bath room contains the typical notice indicating that for ecological conservation linens left on the towel racks will not be laundered. Sadly, the bathroom is so cramped there is no room for a towel rack. Clean linens are stacked from counter to the ceiling on shelves. Used linens can only land on the floor. There is abundance in other areas. Two arc lights outside the window of room 227 bath the seven storied building in light. The lights also perpetually bath the room in light. At night, the blackout curtains glow at the edges framing the window as if morning is always eminent. The door to room 227 is located about 12 inches from the door leading to the pool and parking. There are 5 parking levels at the Hampton and the easiest access to most rooms in the hotel is through this second story access. SCREEEEEEEECH-BANG goes the second story entrance door hundreds, possibly, thousands of times throughout the night and day. Management and staff dislike room 227 as much as the guests. Neglect and frustration is clearly present. Controlling the water temperature in the tub is frustrating. Turn the control knob too far and the water is icy cold. Turn the knob too little and the water is icy cold. Like a modern day Goldilocks, guests need to turn the knob on the tub ‘just right’ to get the water temperature close to what a human could sustain. The tub spigot and the shower head are not affixed to the wall. Diverting the water to the shower head is troublesome as the spigot moves around as the guest attempts to send the water to the shower head. Do not think that your HHonors will help you here. Staff has learned, or possibly well trained, to contain prepaid guests to room 227. Ask for relocation and offending guests are given static and treated as trouble makers. Room 227 does have a redeeming quality. Having been a guest of room 227, I affirm to live a better life and treat my fellow passengers on earth better and more kindly. My earnest hope is that after I pass from this planet that I do not end up back in room 227.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff was friendly. For the area this is the best priced hotel. It was clean and quiet which great. Quiet in the sense that even though there was a lot of people staying there I never heard anything throughout the night. The free breakfast and shuttle were also great. I travel to the area quite a bit and I think this is the hotel I will stay at every time.
Good 7.1
Pros: I felt safe
Cons: lots of noise from the highway. Only one elevator was working. Room wasn't ready when we got there
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I really enjoyed the breakfast selection and outdoor pool :)
Cons: Didn't like that only 1 elevator was working at the time of my stay.
Good 7.1
Pros: quick check in, breakfast, clean room and bathroom
Cons: Line for breakfast was way to long, dining area wasn't up kept very well, neither were the elevators.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the feather pillows. Room was clean and comfortable. We visit friends in the area a couple times a year and have stayed in several other hotels in the same area on route 119 Tarrytown. This is just as good and less expensive than the others.
Cons: The parking lot on the hill is a little tight.
Excellent 9.7
Cons: No dresser in the room.
Mediocre 3.1
Cons: The restroom was uncleaned and the room was very small

Mediocre 3.1
Pros: Nothing. I ended up going to the hotel next door. No one at the check in desk- waited 5 min. There was a running car outside the door with two people inside. The back door from parking garage had broken glass covered with a piece of cardboard. Not very safe! Scary place.
Cons: There could have been someone at the check in desk and building in better condition.
Good 7.1
Pros: The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The parking however was in a parking garage behind the building. Make sure you go to the middle of the building where the elevator is if you need it. Checked the room for bugs etc and there was nothing. Had a decent sized flatscreen tv
Cons: When I Checked in, the staff was not the nicest or patient enough. I just tried to make sure I had everything needed and they were cutting me off mid-sentence constantly showing no patience with me or kindness. Although the place had wifi, it was slow and you had to pay at least 4$ a day for an increase in speed.
Mediocre 3.1
Pros: Anywhere that charges less than $150-$200/night in NY should be considered for carefully. The other reviews were on point with the stale cigarette smell, dingy rooms, and bare minimum amenities. There are those nappy/pilly blankets on the bed that you know are never washed. Bed was uncomfortable for my back. No dishware for an extended stay facility???!!! Drunk guys lining.the area behind the hotel between the parking lot...did not feel safe.
Cons: ALL OF THE ABOVE
Good 6.0
Cons: We left 2 days earlier but couldn’t get reimbursed for 2 last nights. I had paid a pet fee for the entire week and the staff was unable to charge 2 nights back for that as well. We had booked and paid for a room with 2 double beds. Upon arrival we were told that the 2-bed rooms were all booked and we had to stay in a room with 1 queen bed. Although we were 3 people. We were able to change the room the next night. As an „ inconvenience“Token we didn’t have to pay the pet fee for the first night. The room was definitely a smoker room and smelled terrible. All the hallways smelled strongly like someone smoked marijuana in their room. In our first room, the fridge didn’t work. In our second room the hot plates in the kitchen didn’t work. We called the front desk three times but they didn’t even bother sending someone. They told us to turn off all the switches in the electrical panel and turn them on again. We stayed 5 days in total because we didn’t have a choice. I would not recommend this hotel to families with young children.
Mediocre 3.4
Cons: Five days of no housekeeping service and I got charged because what I left required a dumping fee to cleanup really.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Absolutely terrible!! A non smoking room smelled like smoke because the smoking area was right below our room. Elevator was a mess. The room only had 2 towels and pillows the size of tic tacs. Several of the doors to the rooms near us either didn't have closers or were broken because the doors were slamming all night. Management was very slow in responding to a couple arguing right outside our room. The coffee was horrible and the "breakfast" was a joke. Never again!!
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Very comfortable, and clean. Don't have to go far to eat or see a movie everything is right there.
Cons: Every time I stay at Extended Stay I always have to call front desk for cups. There's NEVER any dishes in our room as advertised. No plates not pots no cups etc.
Okay 4.0
Cons: Everything was filthy. The parking garage and stairwell was littered with trash. The carpets throughout the hotel looked as if they were not vacuumed in weeks. There was blueberries smeared all over the wall in the elevator. There was hair on one of the pillows on my bed. My room reeked of cigarette smoke. If you are desperate and need a cheap place to stay, it works. Other than that, I would pay the extra $30 + and stay somewhere else.

Pros: The bed was adequate.
Cons: The toilet ran all night and after asking for it to be fixed, I was assured it was. It had not been and I was told no other room could be offered and no compensation was given for 2 sleepless nights. Other guests were in and out of the rooms all night long, slamming doors. I wasn't sure my car was safe in the parking lot.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Cost was 85% of better equipped hotels but they were all booked. So glad to find a bed near Tarrytown NY. Was adequate and safe.
Cons: Poor soundproofing. Heard adjoining room guest snoring. Little space in small bedroom. Breakfast substandard. Waterry oatmeal. Room temperature orange juice. Coffee OK.
Mediocre 2.3
Pros: location.
Cons: there was a one inch gap between the floor and the door which meant anyone could look underneath it and anything can crawl underneath it as well. I found two spiders in the room along with a bed bug. There was also some big furry critter on the wall that we had to kill. The microwave worked but made this crazy noise like it was going to explode. And there were tears/rips in the curtains. Pretty creepy!

Mediocre 3.7
Cons: A true pay-by-the-hour motel. There was a sign out front that said "Special daytime rates." Disgusting. No central air conditioning, and the room was HOT. The carpet was covered in stains, and the bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The TV remote didn't work. The microwave was so tiny that food containers or travel mugs wouldn't fit. Right next to a busy street and walls were thin so it was loud all night. Would NOT stay here again. Plan ahead and avoid this place.
